Description

Il Mandorlo is a small family-run B&B where friendliness and hospitality are the qualities that distinguish it. Our structure is located in the modern district of San Jacopino. The recently renovated apartment is equipped with all the comforts. It is easily accessible by car and public transport, it is only 10 minutes away from historic center and a few kilometers from Amerigo Vespucci airport.

It is located near the University area of Novoli (which includes Law, Economics and Political Science faculties), the Hospital Careggi and the famous paediatric center Meyer.

Nearby it was cleared up, by a short time, the park of San Donato, a green space where you can go for a walk, stay in the open air to sunbathe or do jogging. There are lovely shops of various kinds, restaurants and pizzerias where eat excellent and cheap meals. In addition, the new small commercial center, achievable on foot, offers the possibility of a multiplex cinema.

The two large rooms, one triples and onedouble, are very bright, all equipped with private bathroom, tv, hairdryer and air conditioning. The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a stately building equipped with elevator.

Great stay in a spacious room with a bathroom, cleaned daily, in a quiet area, close to the T2 tram stop, bars and restaurants/pizzerias nearby, various types of coffee, tea, herbal teas, cookies, croissants available in the kitchen for self-service breakfast, and finally, the added value, namely Mrs. Claudia who will give you excellent tips for visiting Florence.

Our stay this weekend in Florence was made even more enjoyable by the structure that hosted us. The structure is more than dignified, skillfully managed by the very accommodating Mrs. Claudia, in a strategic position, well served by the tram line with a stop just a step away. We will return.

The room is spacious, large and very clean. The tram stops 2 minutes walk from the bed and breakfast so it can be easily reached from Santa Maria Novella station. Claudia, who manages the property, is a kind and helpful person, she provided me with all the directions to reach the bed and breakfast and welcomed me very well, also recommending some places to visit and routes to take. In the morning there is a coffee machine available (coffee, barley coffee, dec, chocolate) and also some packaged snacks. Finally, I found the property economically accessible compared to today's prices and recommend it to those thinking of taking a trip to Florence for a few days.

Great value for money. The manager is impeccable, the cleanliness is impeccable. The tram outside the hotel allows you to be in the center in 5 minutes. The structure is very well served, from the pastry shop to the bakery, laundry, hairdresser, and various shops. I was very satisfied with everything. You can reserve parking so you can stay peacefully without worries.

The owner is extremely helpful, exhaustive in everything, and is an excellent guide in visiting the places. The B&B, cozy and comfortable, is located in a strategic position near the tram that connects to the heart of Florence in just a few minutes. The street where the B&B is located is quiet and equipped with all necessities. We hope to return soon.

The owner, Claudia, is very kind and helpful. She gave us excellent information on what to visit (besides the usual destinations) and where to eat. Breakfast is not provided but there is a coffee machine, microwave, tea and herbal teas, and packaged croissants available. The property is not in the center but is very close to a tram stop and convenient for the station (5 stops) and the center. We had a great time!

This Bed and Breakfast is located on the fourth floor of an elegant building with a lift and is an excellent starting point to move around Florence. A 5-minute walk away is the tram stop that takes you to the historic center and Santa Maria Novella station in 15 minutes. My room was very spacious and bright, equipped with all comforts. The bathroom was also functional and well taken care of. The cleanliness is truly excellent. Breakfast is not served, but there is a whole kitchen available with a kettle for tea, a coffee machine with pods, and a basket of packaged snacks. Mrs. Claudia, finally, is uniquely kind and makes you feel at home. I would gladly return here.

B&B is located outside the ZTL with the possibility to park the car safely in a garage (12€/day). Near the train station, you can rent bicycles for 12€/day. This was great to explore Florence. Many thanks to the hosts.

Good Bed & Breakfast a stone's throw from the Cascine Park, easily reachable by tram and bus, stops 100 meters from the property. Mrs. Claudia very kind and available to provide any information. I will definitely come back.

We stayed for two days and I must say that we enjoyed it for the cleanliness of the premises, the courtesy of the managers, and for the location near the T2 tram stop. You can reach the city center in 10-15 minutes. We will definitely return.

I stayed with the very kind Claudia with my son. The Bed and Breakfast is in an excellent location to reach the historic center or the "Parco delle Cascine" area. The rooms are very spacious and spotless. The kitchen where breakfast (very substantial!) is served is equipped with everything. There is the possibility of having a parking space in a closed garage, which is a true luxury in Florence, and in the area, there are bars, pastry shops, pizzerias, restaurants, and markets. I had a wonderful time and I recommend it.
