Description

The Bed and Breakfast "Il Maggese" is born from the idea of Pardini family: Enzo, Luana and their sons, Alessandro and Sabrina. We welcome in a historic house, located in the heart of Marina di Pietrasanta.

Recently restored the B&B has 5 large and bright rooms, each with private bathroom (and many other services), located on the upper floor, while at the ground floor there is the private residence and breakfast area.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights, in a spacious triple room with all the necessities. The room smelled clean and the bathroom was also very well maintained. The breakfast was well prepared and varied, with fresh quality products (fresh croissants, cakes and artisanal biscuits, homemade jams, fresh fruit, cold cuts, and cheeses). The owners are wonderful people, they made us feel at ease, and gave us useful advice about the surroundings and restaurants where we could eat. We are already thinking about when we can return! Thank you Sabrina and Enzo for the hospitality!

We stayed for 5 days with a 4-month-old baby. The structure is very welcoming, the room is spacious and very nice with a terrace, the bathroom is large and there is private parking. Excellent bed and breakfast immersed in the greenery, quiet, very courteous, helpful, and friendly hosts. A short walk from the sea, reachable with a short walk. Also ideal for families or for those looking for a quiet place to relax. However, it is central to various tourist attractions (art cities like Pisa and Lucca... but do not ignore Carrara or Pietrasanta) naturalistic oases of San Rossore and Massaciuccoli, the severe Apuan Alps not to be underestimated in the name, the very interesting quarries... and much more. It fits really well.

Sabrina is an excellent, kind, and helpful host. She prepares a fantastic and very rich breakfast. The room was very cozy, extremely clean, and equipped with everything necessary for a bed and breakfast. Moreover, the icing on the cake is the dedicated welcome to our poodle, which we appreciated very much. Finally, the B&B is just a stone's throw from the beautiful Marina di Pietrasanta. We will definitely come back and we had a great time!

Excellent structure located near the center of Marina di Pietrasanta and also quite close to the sea, the strong point is definitely the kindness and availability offered by Beatrice who always strives to satisfy every customer's request, also to emphasize the excellent, abundant and complete morning breakfast, not to forget the possibility of using the comfortable bicycles at affordable prices. Highly recommended and definitely worth a return.

Well-maintained structure, large rooms, clean and elegantly furnished. The owners are nice, very friendly, and you can see they love their work. To be at the top, a pool would be needed, but it is also true that the sea is a 5-minute walk away. I recommend it!

I highly recommend this property both in summer and in winter or spring because it is managed excellently, for the cleanliness, the courtesy, the truly excellent breakfasts (provided by the best pastry shops and bakeries in Versilia). The proximity then to the most important archaeological and historical sites in Tuscany make Il Maggese a fantastic place to stay for any tourist or holidaymaker.

I highly recommend the structure. The managers are very friendly and have maximum availability. The environment is well cared for and clean. With just a short walk, you are in the center and by the sea. The internal parking is also very useful. We spent a nice weekend in this B&B.
