Description
"Il Girasole" is located 100 meters from the entrance of Cisanello Hospital. It consists of cozy and comfortable mini-apartments, furnished with care, to make our guests feel at home. You can stay here for short periods related to hospital stays, holidays, or long stays at advantageous prices. Thanks to their strategic location, they are easily reachable from the city center by both the urban high-mobility bus network (from the Pisa Central Railway Station in 10 minutes) and by car from the main road networks (only 1.5 km from the exit of the Florence-Pisa-Livorno Highway).
The apartments are all served by an elevator and each one consists of a living room with a sofa bed and kitchenette, a double bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a private bathroom with a bathtub and/or shower, two balconies, as well as all the comforts such as a television, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, oven, fridge with freezer, hairdryer, washing machine, and iron with ironing board.
Each apartment has its own exclusive parking space in a private courtyard.
Moreover, as a welcome gift for the first morning after arrival, our guests will be offered a FREE packaged breakfast. Finally, the apartments are located near (3 minutes by car and 10 minutes on foot) the "Pisanova" shopping center including the "Esselunga" hypermarket with 40 shops, a bank, tobacco shop, pharmacy, and post office.
The price of the entire apartment includes all utilities such as water, electricity, gas; weekly change of bed linen, bathroom linen, and use of the fully equipped kitchen.
NOTE: The apartments must be vacated by 9:30 am on the day of departure. After this time, the full day rate will be charged.

I recommend this structure to everyone, close to shopping centers where nothing is missing and well connected to the city center. The apartment is well taken care of down to the smallest details, very clean and for our needs (hospital visit) it proved to be in a very convenient location. In front of the house there is a bus stop to reach the station in a few minutes. You can have a good breakfast thanks to the various snacks, juices and jams provided in the pantry. The owner is very kind and very helpful, ready to solve any doubts or problems. The stay was short but very pleasant.

I stayed only one night in one of the apartments at Il Girasole, as the next day I had an appointment at the Cisanello hospital. The apartment is small but delightful, well-kept in detail and very clean; I felt at home. The landlady was very kind and very helpful. The house was warm (since it was very cold outside, this is no small thing), and there was a cupboard full of good things for breakfast. The towels smelled of freshly laundered clothes, and I had never experienced that before. The area is very quiet, and I recommend it to anyone like me who needs to go to the hospital, as the apartment overlooks one of the hospital buildings. It is close to Pisa Centrale station and easy to reach by taxi or bus. A few meters away there is a good pizzeria restaurant; of course, the area is not the best for those who just want to visit the city because there is nothing nearby except a bar and a hairdresser; but it is excellent for those looking for proximity to the hospital.

We stayed in one of the apartments at "Il Girasole" for a visit to the city. The apartment was exquisite, spotless, and taken care of in every detail, with colors and features, a well-equipped kitchen complete with everything, and a cupboard filled with breakfast products, good to eat but also nice to look at. The area is quiet and peaceful, with free parking available under the building, which is very convenient. The owner was very kind and courteous, especially waiting for us an entire afternoon due to problems with the navigator and a change of road. Unfortunately, we had a rainy and stormy weekend, so we fully enjoyed our stay in this delightful apartment. Highly recommended.
