La casa vacanze Il Giorno e La Notte offers its guests three wonderful apartments with all amenities, located just a few steps away from the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, the central station of Santa Maria Novella, Palazzo dei Congressi and Fortezza da Basso. Located on a pedestrian street, the apartments are quiet despite being in one of the most characteristic districts of the historic center, home of the Central Market of San Lorenzo, still active today with its Tuscan specialties benches.

La casa vacanze Il Giorno e la Notte is located in the San Lorenzo district, a five minute walk from the Duomo and the train station of Santa Maria Novella within walking distance of all major monuments. Easily accessible by public transport. We do not recommend to arrive by car because the house is located within the restricted traffic zone and Via Faenza in particular is a pedestrian street. Nearby are two private car parks where you can park.

Beautiful and well-kept room, clean and the bed is comfortable. Too bad for the lack of a small wardrobe, but given the historic building, not much could be done. Very kind and courteous host, I recommend him.

We had a great time, the location is very convenient near the center and the Santa Maria Novella train station, with shops, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby even until late at night. Check-in was very simple and well managed. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary for cooking.

Wonderful apartment in an excellent location. 5 minutes walk from the duomo and train station. The unit we had was on the first floor, street facing, so it can be very noisy until quite late (some nights 2am or so) as it is situated above several bars and restaurants. The place across the street serves up EPIC tartare if that is your thing. The windows do a decent job of muffling the sound but if you are a light sleeper beware and bring earplugs! Spacious apartment, comfortable bed, good shower, couch was not very comfy but it is an antique, and how much time are you really spending sitting there? Super attentive host, self-check in was a breeze. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place to stay for a visit to Florence. It's right in the heart of the city with easy access to the train station and all of the main sights. It's on a lively and pretty loud street, but you would never know it thanks to the very soundproof windows.

Very cute apartment, great location (right in the center, 7 minutes from Santa Maria Novella station and a few minutes from a small supermarket). Equipped with all the comforts necessary for those who want to spend a few days sightseeing in Florence. Despite some noise in the street in the evening, we didn't hear anything and slept very well. Absolutely amazing apartment. There is everything you need (except an iron, however). A little bit noisy because of the restaurants, but if you have good earplugs it's not a problem. Marko and Bruno are perfect hosts. Next time in Florence - only this place to stay.

The apartment is very well located, in an area with many bars and restaurants, with a street view. A few blocks from the Duomo, Central Market, and train station. Marco was very kind in providing information about tours and things to do, quick and easy check-in. I recommend it!

This place is wonderful, located right in the center of Florence and a short walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station. Very nice apartment with exposed beams and well furnished, very close to the station and all the main attractions of Florence. Very well soundproofed, central area in a pedestrian street, very kind and friendly owners, certainly for our next stay in Florence we will keep it in mind.

With my girlfriend we stayed in Marco's 'strada' apartment for a week. Cordial person, very helpful for any eventuality and very nice. Although it is located in one of the main arteries of the historic center of Florence with a continuous influx of tourists outside the house, once the windows are closed you completely alienate yourself from the external sound. A beautiful apartment with exposed beams and old-style furniture. Convenient for everything, supermarket, historical monuments a stone's throw away (see the Medici Chapels and the Duomo), Market and Station. If we were to return to Florence we will definitely contact Marco again to be his guests.

We stayed in the Strada apartment. Beautiful period house with exposed wooden beam ceiling and classic furnishings. Although the apartment is located on a low first floor, thanks to the soundproof windows, noise is reduced practically to zero. Marco, the owner, a kind and friendly person, proved to be very helpful and present. The apartment is in an exceptional location, a two-minute walk from the main attractions (Duomo, Basilica of San Lorenzo, and Medici Chapels) and five minutes from Santa Maria Novella train station. Excellent value for money. If we were to return to beautiful Florence, we would definitely choose Il Giorno e la Notte again.

What is regrettable is that the rented accommodation does not resemble at all the photo published on the website, so we are inevitably disappointed when we arrive. The kitchen equipment is very minimalistic. It is not honest on the part of the lessor. The location is very pleasant and convenient as it is in the center of Florence.

Lovely apartment in a super central location at very affordable prices. The manager is very friendly and helpful. Some noise on Saturday night as it's above a pub, but with the double glazing, it wasn't too bothersome. Overall, highly recommended.

The price of the place was slightly higher than other options in Italy, but considering that it is a whole apartment and it was New Year's holiday, it was reasonable. The apartment is perfect for 2 persons, with a functional kitchen that allowed us to prepare nice meals! Marco is an excellent host, he was very polite and thoughtful with us before and during our stay. I definitely recommend the place if you're going to Florence (Firenze).

Small place but suitable for a couple or single person, very cheerful and homely. The bathroom is nice and large, and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen corner is essential but equipped with both an oven and a microwave. The accommodation was in Piazza del Mercato Centrale, so very close to any museum and tourist attraction in Florence. Marco was a very kind and helpful host. Only downside: the mosquitoes that didn't let us sleep at night, but from what we could see, it's a problem that affects all of Florence and its surroundings. Highly recommended and I think we will book it again in the future.

We stayed 4 days at the B&B 'Il Giorno e la Notte' and we were really very satisfied. On the day of arrival, the manager Marco welcomed us kindly, recommending some places to eat. The apartment is located in the center of Florence, just a few steps from all the 'attractions' of the city. It also overlooks an internal courtyard, so there is no annoyance from the street noise. It has all the comforts, we didn't miss anything. We will gladly return.

I found the structure very comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to the main tourist attractions and the train station. In the evening, the area is very busy, with many diverse establishments right outside the door.
