Welcome to this small village, old house situated on one of the hills of Valdinievole, surrounded by nature between rows of citrus and olive trees, silence and slow rhythms, between flavors and fine local. Il Borgo degli Agrumi is in the heart of Tuscany a few steps from the history and magic of cities such as Firenze, Siena, Lucca, Pisa and Arezzo, famous spa towns such as Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme, the tyrrhenian coast, with places like Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi or Bolgheri, and Liguria coast with the superb Cinque Terre. For children not far from us you will find, in Pistoia, the zoo, the Pinocchio park in Collodi, in Vinci the house and the museum of Leonardo and in Pescia the paper museum with its laboratories.
Il Borgo degli Agrumi is the perfect place for a peaceful holiday, in a landscape of rare beauty and in an area that has managed to keep still intact the ancient tastes, habits and gestures of the Tuscan tradition.
The apartments, almost all in typical Tuscan style, have been completely renovated and the old property, in its entirety, was a former convent.
There is also a large green area with rich olive groves where guests can enjoy a pleasant relaxing walk or a relaxing bath in 2 Jacuzzi tube.
For guests two recommendations: will be treated as if it were their apartments and in them please do not smoke.
The small pets are welcome (prior agreement with the property).
Possibility of parking on the property (subject to agreement with the property).

Hello everyone I'm Emanuela, married and mother of two beautiful guys Lorenzo 23 years old and Filippo 12 years old. With my husband Alberto we found this old house on one of the hills that dot our valley and we instantly fell in love.
We started the renovations in 2009 and after 5 years of hard work, we opened the doors of this, for us, a small corner of paradise. We would like to share il Borgo degli Agrumi with people all over the world trying to offer a simple environment in which it is possible to rediscover the simple pleasures of a time. We believe so strongly that we hope that our future guests will be able to say they've discovered their second home here with us in Valdinievole.

The village of Uzzano Castello stands on top of a hill in the northwestern part of Valdinievole valley, between the towns of Pescia and Buggiano. Its strategic location has always played a major role in its history, in that it enabled to control all the valley below and the surrounding villages.
Though the first written records of Uzzano date back to 960 AD, its original settlements date back to the Lombard period.
Previously a dominion of the municipality of Lucca, in 1339 Uzzano fell under the municipality of Florence, which marked the beginning of its flourishing.
A few years before the unification of Italy, Uzzano, as well as Valdinievole valley, came back under the jurisdiction of Lucca, which in turn became a province of the new Italian state.
The village’s monuments testify its ancient history: St. James’ and St. Martin’s Church, the Oratorio della Misericordia overlooking the valley, the Oratorio of St. Anthony of Padua, the Oratorio of the Madonna del Canale, the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo. Outside the village, about 2 km along a road hugging the valley, lies La Costa, a tiny village near Uzzano, where a beautiful church in Romanesque style dedicated to St. Bartholomew and St. Sylvester is located.

I spent a wonderful Immaculate Conception long weekend with my husband and teenage children! The house is lovely, in a fairytale village! What more can I say, thanks for everything to the very kind Emanuela. We hope to be able to return soon to our delightful Orange apartment.

We stayed in the Bergamot apartment, very beautiful and well-furnished, very clean, the location of the structure is truly enchanting, if one seeks peace here, they will surely find it, it is close to art and coastal locations, basing ourselves in Uzzano we visited Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, Collodi, Montecatini, Viareggio and Lido di Camaiore. The owner is very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful place, with a spectacular view. The apartment is very well-maintained and clean, as well as tastefully arranged. It has a small courtyard with a garden that is ideal for relaxing. The place is very peaceful, in a small but well-kept village. The location is away from the main tourist spots, but close enough to them: many places are reachable within 30 minutes by car. The owner is truly very kind and always ready to respond to every need. The citrus grove, strawberries, and olive trees in the garden complete this enchanting place.

What can I say, our weekend was perfect thanks to the stay at Il Borgo degli Agrumi. The peace that you breathe, the scent of citrus fruits, the beautiful windows overlooking the garden make everything magical and perfect! Emanuela is a super host and gave us a lot of advice on visiting the surrounding areas. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location set in a small medieval village, the garden with beautiful and relaxing citrus plants. The apartment is very well cared for with furniture that shows good taste. The small kitchen window is a small masterpiece. A painting on a breathtaking panorama that changes colors throughout the day. A special mention to Emanuela who welcomed and pampered us in her Borgo degli Agrumi. I highly recommend it.

The structure is really beautiful. For those who love tranquility, it is ideal. Located inside the Borgo degli Agrumi but easily reachable by car. There are no bars, supermarkets, and taverns around, you need to go down to the village by car, but for me, this is more of a merit than a flaw. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to enjoy the beautiful garden with citrus fruits. The owner is extremely helpful and very attentive to all needs. Thank you very much.

The two-story apartment is delightful and meticulously cared for in every detail, you immediately feel at home. The breakfast provided is typically Italian and there's even coffee. Mrs. Emanuela, very caring, bid us farewell the day before departure and kindly gifted my mom some books that were in the library. This way, if you find an interesting book, you don't have to interrupt reading at the most interesting part, nor stay up all night to finish it. I recommend the property to anyone who wants to live in an elegant and well-kept environment in the midst of a picturesque Tuscan village.

I stayed for one night in this property to take my granddaughter to Pinocchio Park in Collodi (which is only a few kilometers away). The property is excellent, tastefully decorated, spacious in an attractive location. The owner is very kind and welcoming. The accommodation, with a spacious bedroom, a living-dining room, a kitchen suitable for at least two people, and two gardens, is truly pleasant. I plan to return.
