Description
In March 2004, my husband and I opened Bed & Breakfast Il Bargello. Our objective was to create a comfortable and central meeting point for travelers from all over to come together and share their experiences.
B&B Il Bargello is not a hotel but a historical private family home with authentic wood beamed ceilings that were brought back to their original splendor during our renovations.
Housed in a 15th century historical building, B&B Il Bargello will give you the impression of being transported back in time as you enjoy the many artistic treasures and sites this city has to offer.
Located on the 3rd floor (no elevator service) in a historical building dating back to the 1400’s, we created 6 comfortable rooms all with private in suite bathrooms. It took us just about 4 years from start to finish, what an endeavor!
To satisfy the growing demand for groups & families, in February 2014, we added a self-contained apartment, our Executive Suite located right across the hallway from the Bed & Breakfast.
All the rooms have their own private en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning, hair dryer, telephone and free wireless internet connection. To ensure a pleasurable stay, the B&B has a non-smoking policy.
Also accessible to all of our guests, is a roof-top terrace with a spectacular view of downtown Florence.

I spent 2 days in Florence with my friend Valeria. We had a great time, very central location, excellent for getting around on foot.
Excellent hospitality, you feel at home, the atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming. Highly recommended.
