Description
The Charme I Salici Agriturismo is a peaceful haven nestled among the gentle hills of Arezzo, straddling the Chianti and Crete Senesi regions. Marco, Maria, and little Rebecca warmly welcome guests to this historic stone farmhouse from the late 1800s, which has been carefully restored to maintain its rural charm while providing all modern comforts.
The property spans two levels: on the ground floor is the Abate Borromeo Restaurant, where authentic flavors and local ingredients come together to create an exceptional dining experience. Upstairs, five elegant suites provide a relaxing stay within an intimate and refined atmosphere.
Surrounded by a five-hectare park, the farmhouse is enclosed and boasts ancient oak trees and olive groves, with paths that invite nature walks. The beautiful pool, set amidst lush greenery, mirrors the colors of the sky and surrounding vegetation, while a fragrant garden filled with jasmine, climbing roses, and aromatic herbs delights the senses and enhances the experience of a rejuvenating stay.

Breakfast
Breakfast is offered in the tavern of the establishment or under the arcade overlooking the garden, presented as a buffet featuring local products such as honey and cheeses, paired with pastries, jams, and homemade yogurt. The coffee is served freshly brewed by the waitstaff, along with hot kitchen preparations (such as the egg menu, etc.).
Restaurant
The Abate Borromeo Hall, part of the agriturismo I Salici, provides a dining experience that authentically and creatively celebrates the local area. Chefs Marco and Marta put a gourmet twist on traditional dishes, highlighting high-quality local ingredients while honoring the historical significance of each plate.
The venue is a beautifully restored 14th-century abbey, featuring a spacious vaulted hall that opens directly into the garden. The restaurant is named after Carlo Borromeo, the last commendatory abbot of the Abbey of Santa Maria di Agnano, who brought the complex under the control of the Camaldoli monastery in the 15th century.
Guests can enjoy a refined atmosphere steeped in history, with breakfast served from 8:30 to 10:30, lunch from 12:30 to 14:30, and dinner from 19:00 to 21:30.
