The location is not really convenient for reaching Siena on foot, but it can be done. The pool is perfect after a hot day riding. The motorcycle parking is convenient. The breakfast is good except for the coffee.

Very good for a few days but if you stay 24 hours in Siena it's better in the center. The point of interest is the pool! And absolutely ask for the garden pool view! On the other side there is a big busy road! The Hotel La Colonna is good and the pool is great but you have to take the bus for 10 minutes or walk for 25 minutes to go to the center! And after 8 pm no more buses!!! So the way back on foot, but it's downhill in this direction!

Very welcoming and helpful structure and staff overall. Nearby, there are also very interesting bars and trattorias. The only small issue was some difficulty in reaching the center of Siena on foot, also due to the partial absence of walkable sidewalks along the path. However, there is also a bus stop nearby, albeit with a time limit at 8.30 pm. Overall, a more than good structure.

If you are looking for a relaxing stay in Siena, I think Hotel La Colonna is the ideal place. The hotel is very convenient for getting around, being only a 3-minute drive from the center or a 20-minute walk. Additionally, for those who prefer, there is also a bus stop nearby. We booked a room overlooking the garden which was very quiet. The lovely pool and the surrounding environment deserve a special mention, perfect for relaxing after a tiring walk around Siena. The staff was extremely kind, and the young man at the reception provided us with valuable advice. The breakfast was good and very plentiful. Furthermore, there are also restaurants and bars nearby the hotel. The only downside could be the paid parking, but it's definitely worth it. Between the relaxation, the spacious and quiet room, and the good food, Hotel La Colonna is a place we would be happy to return to.
