Marco was born in Florence and loves his city. He loves everything that is handcrafted and Florence is its cradle. The apartment has been renovated and furnished in the typical local style to make guests feel like they are in an artistically and handcrafted rich city. The furnishings and finishes present and the materials used are original and top quality. The floors are made with classic cement tiles reconstructed with bronze molds from the late 19th century. The kitchen and doors are made of solid larch wood and the bathroom of chestnut wood. The bathroom is covered in real Carrara marble and real travertine. The furniture is original in mahogany wood from the first half of the 20th century, appropriately restored, preserving its originality to the maximum.
The aim is to try to welcome the guest in a new and familiar dimension at the same time, as if he were in his own home, equipping the apartment with every comfort and taking care of the details.
Finally, I try to promote and make my city known with a beautiful memory of a stay with a past flavor that I feel nostalgic for.

                Area Santa Maria Novella
Florence is a city steeped in history and charm, and the Santa Maria Novella neighborhood represents one of its beating hearts. Among its icons, the majestic Basilica of Santa Maria Novella stands out, an architectural jewel of Tuscan Gothic.
The Basilica of Santa Maria Novella: A Gothic Masterpiece
The Basilica of Santa Maria Novella is an architectural gem that stands majestically in the Florentine panorama, representing an authentic masterpiece of Tuscan Gothic. Built between 1279 and 1357, the basilica is a symbol of art and devotion, bringing with it centuries of history set in its stones.
Inside, the basilica holds some of the most remarkable works of art in the city. Masaccio's Trinity, dating from 1424-25, represents one of the earliest uses of perspective in art. The Crucifix by Giotto, a youthful master of the Renaissance, is a masterpiece of mastery and emotion.
The adjoining convent, built by the Dominican friars, adds a further layer of meaning to the basilica. Its history, intertwined with that of the church, contributes to creating a unique environment, imbued with spirituality and culture.
The façade, divided between the lower part in Romanesque style marble and the upper part completed a century later by Leon Battista Alberti, is a unique element in the panorama of Florentine churches. Its historicity and uniqueness make it one of the oldest and most significant facades in the city.
Even today, the basilica is a place of devotion and discovery for anyone who visits it. Visitors can admire Ghirlandaio's frescoes in the Tornabuoni Chapel, immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Paolo Uccello's frescoed cloisters, and contemplate the magnificence of the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella as the cultural hub of Florence.
