The Fattoria San Lorenzo, with its 450- hectare property, is located at a key point in the Maremma territory and is bordered to the south by the mouth of the River Ombrone and the Monti dell’Uccellina Natural Park. A few kilometers away are Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala, and the town of Grosseto is only five kilometers away.
The Fattoria is literally deep in the Maremma country and green area but is also very close to the uncontaminated beach of the Tirreno sea. Fattoria San Lorenzo is one of the oldest agricultural structures in the area and is now an articulated architectural complex that not only preserves the beauty of its simplicity, but is enriched with the most modern comforts.
Tha Fattoria consists of 3 rural style buildings: The Capanne, Tenuta Livia and The pozzino. Every complex has a private swimming pool, gardens, laundry room, wi-fi and communal equipped areas and parking. In Tenuta Livia is also present a tennis court where you can play with your friends or family and also have private tennis lessons with professional coaches.
Two restaurants are available: "Casa Livia" specialized in typical Tuscan food and "the Bierstadel" for who love Bavarian food and beer.

Casa Livia Restaurant in Grosseto is situated inside Fattoria San Lorenzo on via della Trappola, just a few kilometers away from the city center. The restaurant is surrounded by the beautiful green landscape of the Grosseto countryside.
The cozy indoor dining room can accommodate up to 60 guests, while the welcoming veranda has about 40 seats, making it the perfect place to taste the unique flavor of the house specialties.
The restaurant offers typical Tuscan dishes and homemade pasta such as tagliatelle and tortelli. Additionally, they have a special off-menu selection of dishes made with 100% organic Severino Becagli spirulina, which is made in Tuscany.

The Fattoria San Lorenzo staff can manage and organize activities, from private sailing boats to the regular ferries; or if they want to rent a yacht with skipper and service. The Maremma region is very unknown compared to well-known Florence, Siena or Lucca, but that is the beauty of the area! The beaches are never overcrowded and are still authentic and wild. It is the perfect destination for relaxation and getting back to nature. Many sports, like biking, tennis, paddle boats, horseback riding, scuba diving, sailing, wind and kite surf are common in the area. Various excursions that can be done are Etruscan archeological sites, Medieval hamlets, wine and food tours, and olive oil tasting. The most prestigious wines are close at hand! Brunello di Montalcino is only 35 km away. The famous super Tuscan wineries are also within reach, Sassicaia is 50 minutes away, Bolgheri 60 minutes and the Morellino di Scansano wineries just 35 minutes away. Mount Amiata is an hour away and Italy’s most famous cities of art are all within reach; Siena 50 minutes, Pisa 90 min, Florence 1. 45 hr. and Rome 2 hours.

Great structure, my room was a two-room apartment with kitchen and living room furnished and complete with everything, fridge, dishwasher, dishes, plates, and glasses. TV and air conditioning, patio with sunbeds, table, and chairs. The structure is complete with a swimming pool, tennis court, à la carte restaurant. Breakfast in the garden, varied and plentiful. Everything perfect, unfortunately, mosquitoes are present as in every place. Sea reachable in a few minutes.

We stayed for a week at this property and we had a really great time. The place is very beautiful, immersed in the countryside but only 10 minutes from the sea, the structure is equipped with every comfort. The environment is clean and the apartment is equipped with everything needed for cooking. The breakfast is good with the possibility to choose both sweet and savory. The location is also excellent for visiting the Maremma Park. We will definitely come back.

Fattoria San Lorenzo is the ideal place to enjoy a holiday in the heart of Maremma. Here you can find all the comforts (spacious, clean and very well-kept accommodation), relax after a day at the beach or trekking (wonderful pool), dine in a cozy atmosphere when the day has been tiring (at the Livia restaurant). For sea and activities, there is no shortage of choice, which can be easily overcome with the advice of the always available and attentive managers. The possible destinations satisfy all tastes, from the fantastic sea, to bike rides or walks in the Uccellina Park, to the numerous typical restaurants, to the jewel cities of Tuscany and Italy. I will carefully keep the address and information to book again. Thank you.
