Description
The farmhouse complex lies at the heart of an estate of more than 30 hectares immersed in the greenery of large trees and agricultural fields. Today the farm offers various types of apartments, from studio flat to four-rooms apartment, in addition to five double rooms with bathroom (B&B) with every comfort after the careful reconstruction of the old farm buildings. Guests are able to enjoy the use of the swimming pool (12, 5m x 25m), solarium, hydromassage, sports and play ground and a large garden from which pathways depart for walks of naturalistic interest along the River Cecina. The restaurant offers typical Tuscan cuisine that is guaranteed authentic, using the produce of the farm itself. From the farm it is easy to reach the sea but also nearby picturesque medieval villages and larger towns with a wealth history and art such as Volterra, Siena, Lucca, Florence and others.

You may cancel your booking up to 14 days before the check-in date. In the case of failure to show or late cancellation, the deposit or advance payment will not be refunded

For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

Fattoria La Steccaia is located in the town of MONTESCUDAIO just 6 km from the sea and just 3 km from Cecina and Aurelia Street to get in a short time beaches and other very turistical interesting. The Coast offers the famous promenade of VIAREGGIO, PUNTA ALA, the ancient villages of POPULONIA (Gulf of Baratti only 30 min).
Sea lovers can visit the whole archipelago from Elba Island (ferries from Piombino to 30 km). Capraia Gilgio and Montecristo Islands (Island National Park).

We had a great time, both in terms of space available and cleanliness. The attached restaurant was also good, taking care of the abundant morning breakfast. Hearing the chef whistling from the kitchen windows, besides putting you in a good mood, makes you understand that there are still people who have fun and put all their passion into it. The restaurant prices are appropriate for the quality of the dishes offered. A special thanks to the lady (manager) who proved to be helpful beyond any rosy expectation.

Well maintained structure, large and well-kept pool, each room has its own reserved umbrella. It's a pity that the wifi only works near the reception, it would be nice if it worked throughout the structure given the poor Tim Wind signal coverage, etc. We would have appreciated a change of towels after 3 days but it was never done. The lady at the reception was very kind and friendly. Overall, I recommend this property to those seeking tranquility and peace. The property allows dogs, sometimes in the evening before dinner when everyone walks them, well, sometimes. A bit less positive about the restaurant, the new management has a lot to improve, small issues that can be solved with a bit of attention and humility.

We went to Fattoria La Steccaia in September using the holiday bonus they promptly accepted. As for the room, it was very clean and had a somewhat antique style. The bathroom was brand new and equipped with every comfort, except for a small issue with the water that suddenly turned cold and then became hot again. The breakfast was perfect. Fabio, the restaurant's guy, was a really great host. The cuisine was very good, with refined and not trivial dishes. Excellent work by the chef, whom I don't know. The pool was fantastic, very large and there was also a pool for the little ones. Beautiful structure, overall. The only flaw was the lack of WiFi in the room. Anyway, we will return.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo in questo bed and breakfast. Camera ampia e pulita con piccolo frigorifero e amplio bagno, colazione abbondante, presenza di un buon ristorante in loco disponibile a venire incontro ad esigenze alimentari particolari, piscina molto bella, immerso nella natura. Proprietaria gentile e disponibile. Un posto dove ritornare.

Siamo station molto bene. Personale gentile e disponibile. La piscina è molto bella e tenuta bene. I bambini sono stati molto contenti della piscina e del campo da calcio/tennis. Abbiamo usufruito del ristorante: anche quello molto buono e ottimo il servizio. Torneremo sicuramente!

In ottima posizione sia per raggiungere il mare che le località turistiche all'interno (Volterra), pulito, curato, silenzioso, tutto il personale gentilissimo, un ottimo ristorante annesso, la piscina a disposizione. L'unico appunto è all'orario della colazione, a partire dalle 8:30, un po' tardi per chi ha itinerari intensi in programma e vorrebbe partire presto. Per il resto tutto perfetto.

È stato un soggiorno breve, una sola notta, ma siamo comunque rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Non abbiamo potuto usufruire delle offerte di svago che vi sono all'interno della struttura ma abbiamo "provato" il ristorante che c'è nella struttura; abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Un luogo in campagna a pochi chilometri dal mare. L'ideale per chi opta per più possibilità di svago.

A questa struttura posso solo dare tutti 10! È un piccolo paradiso della Toscana, a 10 minuti dalle spiagge bianche, immersa nel verde e nei campi di girasoli. La piscina e molto carina e pulita, attrezzata di lettini, ombrelloni, materassini e gonfiabili per i più piccoli. Le camere semblici e ben arredate, pulite. Il cibo di ottima qualità, dalla colazione alla cena. I ragazzi che lavorano li sono simpaticissimi e disponibili (in particolare Alessio). Insomma, a mio giudizio è un posto spettacolare e non appena avremo occasione io e il mio fidanzato ci torneremo sicuramente!
