Description
The property, renovated in 2009, is located in a very quiet area, in the center of the Lucca plain.
It is an old stone stable, with the upper barn closed with typical Lucca terracotta mandolates: all carefully and tastefully restored. Inside, it is finely renovated with attention to detail, including furnishings made by local artisans (blacksmith, carpenter, gilder, etc.).
The guesthouse is located in the center of the village of Capannori where you can find all services: grocery stores, rotisserie, ice cream shops, pastry shops, banks, post office, etc.
In the surrounding area, being a residential and quiet area, it is possible to walk, cycle or even swim in the communal swimming pool, a few hundred meters from Corte Capitani.
In each room, you can recognize decorations that recall the name of the room itself, each called with the names of animals from the Lucca court.
The guesthouse has 6 rooms, including doubles and singles, all with private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, air conditioning and LCD TV.
Outside, covered porch and large relaxation area with chairs and armchairs; parking for cars.
The owners have taken care of the restoration, maintaining the original Lucca features, but the structure has been carefully furnished and equipped with solar and photovoltaic panel systems, for energy saving, for full respect of the environment.

The Corte Capitani guesthouse is equipped with some precautions to reduce the consumption of environmental resources:
- insulated walls and walls (to protect from summer heat and winter cold)
- solar panels to heat water for summer plants (and temper it in winter)
- aluminum and wood fixtures that isolate from the outside for noise and temperatures
- all the materials that were used for building recovery are natural, cooked with old systems as far as the Tuscan red terracotta bricks are concerned, and also using natural and not synthetic dyes;
- the lamps for garden and porch lighting are all energy-saving.
In agreement with the Municipal Administration and the waste company, Corte Capitani carries out separate waste collection.

Guests prepare their own breakfasts at whatever time suits them, using what is available in the kitchen: espresso, tea, juice, yogurt, jams, honey, small toasts, and other sweet snacks. Every once in a while, especially when we have a full house on the weekends, we order sweets from our favorite bakery: a real treat!

We are located in the center of the Piana di Lucca, very close to the Capannori Municipality and in the heart of the village, which has all the necessary amenities including banks, post office, as well as gastronomy, restaurants, pastry shops, and ice cream parlors.
The Capannori highway exit is less than 3 km away from us.
Furthermore, we are 14 km from Collodi and the Pinocchio Park, 21 km from Pisa, and 22 km from Viareggio, Versilia, Forte dei Marmi, and Torre del Lago Puccini, as well as the only "Citadel of Carnival". Carrara with its marble quarries is 65 km away, while Florence is located in the east at 65 km, and Siena is 130 km away.
The Walls of Lucca are a 6-minute drive away, while the Lucchese Villas can be reached within a maximum of 6/10 km.

A few kilometers from Lucca, excellent B&B well structured with everything useful for a pleasant stay. Clean, spacious and functional room. Bed with fantastic mattresses and pillows. Convenient internal courtyard for good vehicle storage. In a nice shared kitchen with the other rooms, breakfast all packaged except for an excellent pie with jams, yogurt, juices available in the fridge and brioches, cookies, toast and everything else. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Excellent rooms. The structure is very well-kept and clean, equipped with air conditioning. The manager is very kind and helpful, perhaps the breakfast table needs some attention. A single table for many rooms is not ideal. There were nine of us having breakfast at the same time, luckily it's summer and there is a table outside. The breakfast is abundant, there is everything for everyone's taste: coffee, tea, juices, eggs, croissants, jams, etc...

We went there for a concert in Lucca. The town is located at a train stop from the historic walls. The owner is helpful but discreet, the structure is beautiful in the green outskirts, small but cozy room. Adequate breakfast.

B&B very well-kept and creatively designed in a quiet and strategic location for visiting Lucca and surroundings. We stayed at the Corte Capitani accommodation for Lucca Comics. We had an apartment for 4 people, which actually comfortably accommodated 6/7 people with the double services. Spacious and practical solution, also excellent location, in such a congested weekend we arrived in Lucca in 10 minutes and immediately found parking. We left calmly after 9:30 in the morning.

Excellent structure all around, if we want to find an improvement point the ATM was not working and I had to pay in cash. I underline instead the kindness of the manager, I really appreciated the fresh croissants for breakfast.

We recommend the B&B Corte Capitani because it is very comfortable, family atmosphere, great courtesy and availability of the manager, impeccable cleanliness. Possibility to use the kitchen, excellent and abundant breakfast. Large garden where children can play and spend peaceful moments. Wi-fi and free parking. We will definitely come back.
