Imagine waking up in the pulsing heart of 14th-century Florence, where every stone tells a story and the romance of the Middle Ages is alive in every corner. Located in the ancient Dante Quarter, our B&B sits right next to the House of Dante Alighieri, offering you the unique privilege of experiencing the city exactly as the Supreme Poet once did.
Stepping through our doors, you will leave the bustling city center behind and enter a peaceful sanctuary that preserves all the charm of old-world Florence.
Our B&B is nestled inside a protected historic palace. To preserve its original medieval architecture, there is no elevator.

Hi there! I am the owner of this little sanctuary in the heart of Florence. I love my city, its ancient history, and, above all, the art of hospitality. For me, running this B&B is not just a job, but the true pleasure of making travelers feel at home, in a place where time seems to have stood still. Whenever possible, I will be delighted to welcome you personally, help you with your luggage up our 44 historic steps, and share the local secrets, off-the-beaten-path restaurants, and most authentic spots in Florence to ensure you have an unforgettable experience.

Area Uffizi
Our B&B is located in the pulsing heart of the historic center, within Florence’s ancient medieval quarter. Staying here feels like stepping back in time: you will walk through the very alleys where Dante Alighieri was born and lived, surrounded by historic stone tower-houses, hidden squares, and the famous traditional "wine windows".
Despite the old-world atmosphere and the quiet feel of these pedestrian streets, the location is incredibly central. As you step out of the main door, the city’s most iconic landmarks are just a short stroll away: the Duomo with Brunelleschi’s Dome, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Bargello Museum are literally around the corner.
The area is vibrant and filled with authentic charm: you will find traditional Tuscan trattorias, leather artisan workshops, historic cafes, and local grocery shops. It is the perfect base to explore all of Florence comfortably on foot, with no need for public transport or taxis.
