Since we trovere the typical Tuscan style
The "Casale Le Masse" is located on a beautiful hill in the heart of Chianti, between Florence and Siena, 1 km from the beautiful Piazza Matteotti in Greve in Chianti. The farmhouse is set in an ancient complex of renovated houses dating back to 1100, presumably in a place nestled between the famous vineyards of the area and in full contact with nature.

Good location and very clean accommodation within walking distance to Greve in Chianti. The offers and the breakfast are nice; but it was kind of strange that in different situations it was indicated that some little things come at an extra charge (for example pool towels, a second portion at breakfast, a third hot drink, etc). I would not exploit it anyways - but it comes across very unwelcoming and a bit petty.

The room/building was magnificent! It was comfortable as well as charming. The view from our window was breathtaking. We enjoyed being able to stroll through Greve. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations from the hostess, delicious and reasonably priced. We recommend this B&B without hesitation.

A sensational stay in a picturesque place: warm welcome, delicious breakfast, tranquility, very relaxing pool. Highly recommended if you are in the Chianti.

Grandiosely located above the town amidst vineyards. Uniquely nice operators. We felt more than comfortable there. The seating area was also super cozy. Ideally located for Tuscany tours. Highly recommended. Had booked the studio.

Anyone reading our review should first understand we have almost no experience staying at B & Bs. Also, we enjoyed what we thought was one of the large suites as compared to our friends. Customarily we stay at hotels. With that said here is what we thought.\n\nOur room had a private bath. Bathroom and shower were spotless including new, modern fixtures. Towels and wash clothes should be replaced with newer - they are worn out. Bedroom spacious and kept very clean. Bedroom was comfortable with excellent bedding. Wonderful windows with shutters. Not much storage or drawer space but very adequate space for hanging items.\n\nWe stayed during a very hot spell and experienced a problem with air conditioning. The family had a repair person out immediately even though it was an Italian holiday weekend. It got fixed promptly so high marks!\n\nOutside is pleasant with a couple covered table areas. Great views.\n\nWe did not use the swimming pool but it looked very nice.\n\nProprietor very nice and fine host though she doesn't speak Anglo. Stefania (daughter) does well with English so there is no problem communicating with her in person and on line. But if she is not around there is some difficulty.\n\nDepending on your age and health the location may be a difficult walk to the center of town, especially the return which is mostly uphill.\n\nPrice of $80 E per evening is excellent. B&B provided at least two bottles of Chianti at no charge. Fresh fruit and coffee available at most hours.\n\nWe'd stay again but would ask for the same room or one of similar size.
