Atop a hill where the gaze wanders through the wonders of the Tuscan countryside, characterized by its unmistakable rolling hills and vineyards and olive groves scattered throughout, you will be captivated by the atmosphere of relaxation and connection with nature.
Whether you choose to stay in a room to enjoy your day exploring the natural beauty and enchanting villages of the area, or in an apartment with the convenience of a kitchen, you will always have access to a beautiful seasonal panoramic pool or a heated indoor pool.
My family will always be ready to welcome you with a genuine smile, and we will be available for any information and needs you may have, while maintaining a discreet presence, as we live a little further down in the building. Guests will be accommodated in part of the ancient farmhouse that my grandparents acquired with great effort in the 1950s, coming from the Marche region with a deep love for the land, courage, and pride in their farming heritage.

Nice to meet you! I’m Barbara, and my family and I are excited to welcome you to my little piece of paradise, where I was born and raised. I live on the property with my husband and son, and my parents, who also reside nearby, assist me in hosting.

The farmhouse is located just a few minutes' drive from the town of Certaldo, where you'll find bars, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, and local shops—everything you might need!
The medieval village of Certaldo Alto can be reached from the town center either by funicular or on foot via the ancient pathways leading to the higher village, a true gem that remains almost intact in its original medieval form. Here, you can visit the beautiful Palazzo Pretorio, the old deconsecrated church featuring the fresco by Benozzo Gozzoli, who originated from this area, and most notably, the house of Giovanni Boccaccio, the author of the Decameron, who spent a significant portion of his life here.
Don’t miss a visit to the nearby and world-famous San Gimignano, often referred to as the "Manhattan of the Middle Ages," with its towers and a historic center that buzzes with life during the daytime.
The art cities of Florence, Siena, and Pisa are easily accessible by car from our farmhouse, as well as Volterra, Monteriggioni, San Miniato, and the Chianti region.

The property is very clean and functional. It is located in a spectacular and very peaceful place. We spent three wonderful days of pure relaxation. Barbara's welcome made us feel at home. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends.

We had a very nice stay with Barbara, who is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The setting is superb; the accommodations overlook the Tuscan countryside, it is calm and splendid! The room was well equipped. There was a lack of storage in the bathroom to place our belongings, otherwise it was very good. The pool is large and much appreciated in the heat. We recommend it without hesitation!

An excellent place to discover Tuscany. Given its location, you are less than an hour, or slightly more, from most of the must-see places in Tuscany. The property grounds are enclosed and very secure, which gives a lot of peace of mind. The pool is clean and comfortable; it feels great to visit it daily :). The apartment is very comfortable and has all the basics in case one day you decide to take it easy, allowing you to cook local delights yourself. Bárbara and her family are lovely and make you feel at home. Without a doubt, an extraordinary place.
