The Holiday Apartment Santa Caterina is located in a area in the center of the territory of the Crete Senesi, consists of 10 apartments respectively 5 on the ground floor and 5 on the first floor.
Many services available to our customers: swimming pool (8x12 meters), which has a whirlpool, and a large solarium (open from 1 June to 30 September - the dates can change according to the season).
Ample free parking, two super-equipped games areas, barbecue area, one hectare of greenery for walks with your 4-legged friends. also a fenced pond is at your disposal to fish and to make a refreshing bath to the animals of our customers.
In each apartment you will find: independent heating, free wifi in all apartments, air conditioning in all rooms, a large and sunny kitchen-living room (equipped with fridge with freezer, an oven, a kettle, a moka coffee maker, kitchen linen as a tablecloth and a dry-bed and all the various kitchen utensils and crockery).
The rooms, also very spacious, can have a double bed or two twin beds that can be joined together. The net and the mattress are all orthopedic to offer you a pleasant rest.
All bathrooms have a walk-in shower and are equipped with a hairdryer.
On arrival the apartments are already equipped with bed linen and towels, which change is only weekly. Additional changes are possible by paying an extra fee.
Some of the apartments on the first floor have a terrace or a panoramic balcony equipped with table and chairs, where on summer days it is possible to enjoy the delicacies of the area.
In the other apartments without a terrace our guests can use the garden on the ground floor, also equipped with gazebos with tables and chairs.
Each apartment on the ground floor has a comfortable entrance with its own private area equipped with table, chairs and umbrellas, to spend pleasant moments of relaxation.
We do not have a restaurant but we can recommend some good restaurants in the area just 8/10 km from where you can eat well and get a 10% discount.
Also just 13km from us (15 min) there are the spas where you can take advantage of discounts on entry to the facilities and a 10% on massages.

Hi, my name is Mery Migliorini and I am the owner of the holiday home. For 19 years I have opened this business in the beautiful center of the Crete Senesi.
I do not define this activity as a job but a pleasure, I am lucky to do something that I like and I give my clients all my life. The most important thing for me is that my customers are well, relax, have fun, get away from the normal routine and regenerate. I have a cheerful, explosive character and I like to be friends with my clients and give them the opportunity to make the most of the time they spend in my structure, giving them advice on what to visit, where to eat, where to find places to relax (like terme), where to take walks immersed in the green and tranquility.
So many times I go out with my clients, taking them myself to visit enchanting places, and eating in local with really typical home cooking. What can I say more, I have two wonderful children, Chiara aged 11 and Michele, 5 years old, who are not expecting anything more to come to new children to play with them, giving parents the opportunity to relax while their children play quietly with my children. Practically without knowing it they make me young animators. Beautiful days we spent my children and I with the host families here, making homemade pasta, pizza, desserts and homemade cheese, and then drawing competitions, races with cars, bike races and in the worst days, in which maybe it rains, let's go and look all together for the snails that come out. What can one say become children at all ages.
Wonderful breakfasts await you, where you can taste the homemade cakes from grandma Fiorella, all with ingredients of our production.
Come and visit us and you can experience everything I've told you from the truth.

All good: beautiful structure, stunning views, and top-notch setting. I only point out that the apartments are poorly soundproofed, so I recommend bringing earplugs to avoid sleepless nights due to potentially noisy other guests. Also, in our room, the mattress was uncomfortable due to deformation from use. If you have difficulty sleeping, consider these two pieces of information carefully and discuss them with Mary to find the most suitable solution for you; she is really very kind and helpful.

My wife and I stayed at Santa Caterina for 8 days, we really enjoyed it. The location is strategic for reaching various tourist attractions, Mary is really welcoming and kind, and the apartment is well-maintained and clean. The structure has a beautiful swimming pool and a truly beautiful view of Siena. We recommend it.

We stayed 4 nights in the Magnolia apartment. The apartment is spacious, all the rooms are very comfortable and all with air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with everything. They love animals, no problem for our little dog. Mery and her family are super hospitable. We had a really good time. The area is super relaxing!

With seven other adults traveling along the Lauretana road in Tuscany, we stopped for one night at Santa Caterina, with a stunning view of the surrounding hills and Siena. Mrs. Mery is very kind and always ready to meet the guests' needs.

A residence in a fairy tale place, amidst the Crete Senesi. The presence of the pool is essential to cool off after a day of excursions. Spacious apartments furnished in a shabby chic style. Everything is very clean! I only suggest to the managers to consider installing mosquito nets at least on the windows, in order to keep mosquitoes out. Otherwise everything is perfect.

The lady who manages the property is very nice and kind. Spectacular location, but far from the main inhabited centers (with all the pros and cons of this). Property equipped with everything, even a pool with a view over the hills until you can see Siena. I cannot judge the breakfast as we did not use it. Excellent value for money. To return.

For those looking for spectacular sunsets, kindness, sympathy, hospitality, they cannot miss this place. Not to mention the accommodation, clean and equipped with every comfort. Very comfortable bed and equipped kitchen. Infinity pool overlooking the Crete Senesi... a pleasure for the eyes. From the B&B it is possible to reach Siena in a short time. In short... everything perfect! My boyfriend and I will definitely come back.

Ho soggiornato per tre giorni in questa struttura con la mia fidanzata e posso dire di essere rimasto assolutamente soddisfatto dal servizio. Struttura perfetta per una vacanza di relax e ottimo posizionamento per raggiungere varie città di turismo rimanendo comunque in una località tranquilla immersa nella natura. Siamo appena tornati da un weekend alle crete senesi e abbiamo trovato (un po' per caso sul web) questo bellissimo bed and breakfast! Eravamo alloggiati nell'appartamento "mimosa" che è a dir poco stupendo: pulito, completo di tutto (cucina, bagno, balcone, letto comodo!) e circondati dalla bellezza delle crete! Ah, dimenticavo... il B&B è proprio sulla via Lauretana, famosa per la bellezza dei paesaggi e dei tramonti mozzafiato. E poi che altro dire? La bellissima piscina (vero refrigerio nella calura di fine Luglio) e le mitiche affittacamere Mery e Manola: due vulcaniche sorelle campionesse di simpatia e cortesia! Prezzo assolutamente abbordabile e relax assicurato; insomma, cosa fate ancora a casa? Il B&B Santa Caterina vi aspetta per offrirvi una vacanza da sogno! Marco e Simona.

Bella struttura, immersa nel verde delle crete senesi da cui si gode un bellissimo panorama. La signora Mery è una perfetta padrona di casa.

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti nell'Agosto 2015 e non possiamo che esserne entusiasti. Splendido casolare dei primi '900 completamente ristrutturato e diviso in appartamenti belli, confortevoli, freschissimi (senza aria condizionata, che è, comunque, presente), dotati di ogni comfort (cucina attrezzata, televisione, WIFI). Si trovo su una delle colline delle crete senesi e da lì si può godere di un panorama mozzafiato, immersi nella natura ma a soli 7 Km da Siena. I B&B prevede anche una zona piscina attrezzatissima (sdraio, ombrelloni, bagni e docce) e un laghetto dove poter far fare il bagno anche alla nostra bimba pelosa Gioia, pastore tedesco di circa 5 anni.
Ottima colazione preparata dalla proprietaria, bravissima cuoca e super simpatica, nonché organizzatissima: all'arrivo ti consegna un fascicolo dove, oltre a essere indicati tutti i servizi del B&B, sono indicati anche tutti i ristoranti convenzionati e non, servizi possibili dei dintorni (supermercati, farmacie, alimentari, etc), itinerari, terme, attività da svolgere.
È diventato il nostro buen retiro ed è inutile dire che lo consigliamo a tutti e che ci torneremo sicuramente, speriamo il prima possibile!

Ottima struttura a una decina di chilometri da Siena, personale gentilissimo e disponibile e paesaggio fantastico. Da provare!
