Description
Casa Fiori
Where History Lives On
Casa Fiori was born in the 1970s, built by my father to meet the needs of our growing family.
As a surveyor and builder, he always looked to the future, designing the property with the vision that it could one day be expanded and adapted to meet the changing needs of future generations.
He purchased a country estate in Cecina, close enough to the sea yet surrounded by the peaceful Tuscan countryside. The place was called *Il Poggio d'Oro* ("The Golden Hill"), and that is where our story began.
For many years, this was our family home—a place that was deeply loved, truly lived in, and gradually transformed to welcome children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends. Every change reflected a new chapter in our lives, adding or reshaping spaces while always preserving the home's original soul.
Today, we have carefully reimagined Casa Fiori for modern travelers without losing what made it special. We restored as many original materials and architectural details as possible, preserving everything that could continue telling the story of this family home.
The history remains.
The original colours, wooden shutters, and brass handles have all been lovingly restored by skilled Tuscan craftsmen, allowing them to shine once again. Many of the objects you will find throughout the apartments are treasured family pieces that we chose to keep, sharing a little of our story with every guest.
The park surrounding the house is its true heart—a place filled with memories, changing seasons, and moments shared over generations. Today it continues to welcome guests with the same warmth and natural hospitality of a family home.
Here, past and present exist in perfect harmony, creating an atmosphere of understated elegance and authentic Tuscan charm.
Each apartment—**Oleandro, Olivo, Mirto, Vite, Rosmarino, ** and **Glicine**—is immersed in lush greenery.
Towering pine trees, centuries-old olive trees, and peaceful corners filled with lavender, rosemary, aromatic sage, agapanthus, and myrtle surround the property. The entire house is embraced by a magnificent Virginia creeper that has covered its walls for more than fifty years, giving Casa Fiori its unmistakable character and timeless beauty.
Every outdoor space has been thoughtfully designed for our guests, with comfortable seating areas perfect for reading, relaxing, and enjoying the slower rhythm of life in Tuscany.
We deliberately chose not to create barriers or enclosed areas, believing the park should be enjoyed as one continuous space, free to explore. We hope our guests experience the house and gardens just as our family has for generations—feeling completely at home.
Casa Fiori has been lovingly renewed for you: a home where the past never stands still, but continues to evolve, becoming part of your own memories as well.
The park is completed by a beautiful saltwater swimming pool, as blue as the Tyrrhenian Sea, featuring a hydromassage area and a fully equipped sun terrace.
Nestled among the greenery, a historic gazebo serves as an elegant outdoor living room, furnished with sofas and hammocks. For those seeking balance and relaxation, yoga mats are available in a peaceful space designed to slow the pace of everyday life, surrounded by olive trees and palm trees in the quiet beauty of Tuscany.
The charming barbecue area features original café tables from a Parisian bistro, creating the perfect setting for outdoor dining and unforgettable evenings around a traditional **Bistecca alla Fiorentina**.
Today, Casa Fiori opens its doors with the same spirit that has always defined it: offering an authentic, welcoming place filled with memories, where you can experience Tuscany while truly feeling at home.
Here, where history lives on, our story continues with you.
Where every memory has roots.
Take home a beautiful memory, leave behind a root.
Your story is now part of Casa Fiori, in Tuscany.
