Casa di Osio is a wonderful, cozy and bright B&B situated in the heart of Siena. Completely renewed and restored, it is located in a notified palace built on 1313, in the initial part of the main street of the old city, Via Montanini.
Very close to Piazza del Campo, to the Cathedral, to all the museums and also close to the Chianti area, Casa di Osio is the perfect place to stay for a visit in the old town with its monuments, the countryside with its wineries and castles, for business trips or for a longer stay for your University courses.
For any traveler or business man, after a whole day spent to have fun downtown or to work, this B&B is a comfortable, fine and elegant place where you can relax and enjoy a charming atmosphere.
Casa di Osio was born thanks to Benedetta, an hotelier with long-time experience, who, together with her husband Matteo and her family, decided to create a cozy and hospitable B&B, reference point for those who want to discover the old town of Siena, and breathe its fascinating atmosphere, just like the famous middle-age travelers used to do.
In the house there are 5 bedrooms which are very bright, carefully furnished and provided with all the mod cons.
We have rooms with single beds or double beds; we can add a third bed or a crib on demand.
The WIFI is free both in the rooms and in the rest of the house.
There aren't rooms with private bathrooms, but in total there are 2 shared bathrooms with shower stall.

The house has passed down within the family from generation to generation, Osio in fact was the grandfather who, with his wife Giselda, shared his love for this town and for hats. In the first years of 1900 he created the first milliners shop and in a part of the house he created his own laboratory.
His daughter Bruna continued with this tradition, drawing inspiration from her parents and, started her own bridal collection.

I was born in Siena and graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at the University for Foreigners. After many years of working in the field of hotel marketing in various 4 and 5-star establishments, which also took me abroad, I decided to take control of my life with the birth of my children.
Together with my husband Matteo, I share a passion for traveling, which is why we decided to open a bed and breakfast in the apartment next to ours. We aim to create a welcoming and hospitable place that serves as a reference point for those who wish to discover the city of Siena, experience and breathe the atmosphere just as the great travelers of the past did. We also aim to meet new people and share with them the love for travel, as well as promote our beautiful city.
Since our efforts were yielding results, we decided to expand our business by renovating 3 new apartments. The house has been in the family for generations. In the early 1900s, my great-great-grandfather Osio, along with his wife Giselda, who shared his love for this city and passion for hats, created the first millinery in Siena. They had their workshop and tailor's shop in a part of the house.
The business continued for many years with their daughter Bruna, my great-grandmother, who followed in her parents' footsteps, and my grandmother Marcella, who also created a line for brides. When you arrive, you will be welcomed by Benedetta, Matteo, little Maria Vittoria, Duccio, and our little house dog, Geremia, a toy poodle.

Central location a short walk from Piazza del Campo and the Duomo, everything within easy reach. Paid parking outside the walls, a bit expensive, but the property provides a voucher with a nice discount. Rooms are spacious and quiet, just a bit dated, including the linens. Staff very kind and helpful.

It was extremely hot in the room and they only have a fan. Then the fan broke down and fell right before midnight. Even at midnight the room temperature was around 30 degrees, hotter than outside. It was uninhabitable so I had to book another hotel and leave that place.

House-apartment with shared bathroom and kitchen in an excellent location in the center of Siena. Also equipped with a small veranda for eating with a beautiful view of the rooftops of Siena. Room with fan and very comfortable double bed, towels available, kitchen and bathrooms spotlessly clean and well maintained. I am very satisfied, I met the owner/manager, very friendly and nice. I find the self-check-in and check-out mode very practical, perfect for those who enter and exit the property at inconvenient times or if the staff is not present on site. Quiet room and apartment as well, everything neat and tastefully furnished. I will definitely come back!

Great Bed and Breakfast, I had a great time both with the owner and the room and apartment. The view from the room is stunning! The bathroom and kitchen are also great. Prices are high for me compared to others in Siena, but they are great.

Apartment very close to the Palio-Piazza del Campo area. Recently opened, it is nice, clean, practical, and functional. We immediately felt comfortable. The owner is courteous and very helpful. The buffet breakfast is plentiful, with both sweet and savory options. We will gladly return.
