Casa al Fiume

Casa al Fiume is a typical Tuscan rural building, originally used as a barn for the nearby farmhouse, dating back to the early 19th century. The current owners have recently restored the property, respecting the local traditions and the surrounding environment. Today, Casa al Fiume is a welcoming retreat for those who wish to immerse themselves in the most authentic and unspoiled nature.

Located just a few steps from the main road, the house is nestled in greenery, in an enchanting position surrounded by dense vegetation and protected by the waters of the Ciuffenna river, which encircles the property. In this charming setting, guests can enjoy a comfortable stay, in harmony with the landscape, and surrounded by the relaxing sounds of nature.

Casa al Fiume is also an ideal base for exploring the main Tuscan cities such as Siena, Florence, and Arezzo, all easily reachable in a short time to admire their artistic and cultural beauty. Furthermore, from here it is possible to take day trips to the splendid towns of the region, such as Gaiole and Radda along the Chianti Road, or Montepulciano, Cortona, Pienza, San Gimignano, and many others. This makes the experience unique, complete, and therefore unforgettable.

The property is located about 50 meters from the owners' house, who can provide assistance to guests while ensuring complete privacy.

Interiors:
The house is spread over two levels. On the ground floor, the entrance leads to the living area, a spacious open space that includes a living room with a wood stove, a sofa bed, and a smart TV, as well as a kitchen with a dining area. This floor also has a double bedroom and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. A wooden staircase from the living room leads to the master bedroom located on the upper floor.

Park:
The property extends over about 40, 000 square meters, mostly covered by woods and arable land. Around the house, the garden features a large lawn dotted with aromatic plants, olive trees, hazelnut trees, oaks, and fruit trees. Next to the kitchen, a pergola covered with jasmine provides a shaded area with a table and chairs for outdoor dining in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. A masonry barbecue, located a few meters from the house, is available to guests for delicious barbecues. For those who wish to cool off in the waters of the Ciuffenna river, fish, or simply admire the natural scenery, a short path through the walnut grove bordering the property, just beyond the pool, leads to the river.

Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool is located on a lower level than the house, about 20 meters away, and is accessible via a paved ramp that starts from the pergola in front of the house. The pool measures 12 x 6 meters, with a depth ranging from 1. 40 to 2. 40 meters. The basin is lined with PVC and equipped with a ladder for water access. The filtration system is chlorine-based, and internal lighting allows for evening swims. Around the pool, a sunbathing area, partially paved with terracotta and partly covered with grass, offers sunbeds and deck chairs for relaxing in the sun. A gazebo with chairs and a table provides a shaded spot for relaxing moments, surrounded by the sounds of nature, such as birdsong and the gentle flow of the nearby river. The pool is open from May 1st to October 31st.
