Description

We offer a large and comfy double bedroom with private bathroom in a nice building of the early 1800s, located in the city centre of Livorno with lovely view of tree-lined square
We are also willing to give any kind of information and details about the city.

Our home is only 200 mt. from Goldoni theatre, 1 Km. from the seafront and the port, 900 mt. from the hospital, 1, 5 km. from the railway stations. A frequent bus service is available at any time.

Check in: at 5 p. m.

Check out: preferably not later than 10 a. m.

However we are available to arrange for any other personal need.

My name is Roberta and I have two children, Maurizio and Elisa. I enjoy traveling, cinema, reading, and good food.

In particular, I have a special love for Livorno, my adopted city. I adore its sea, canals, churches, monuments, villas, market, and its authentic and genuine inhabitants. I want to share my knowledge of the city with my guests and make their stay in my home as pleasant as possible.

The area is well served by shops and buses, and you can also walk to the port and the seafront in 15 minutes, where you can admire the "Terrazza Mascagni" with a lovely view over the sea and the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, and the wonderful "Hotel Palazzi" newly renovated. In 10 minutes you can walk to the charming quarter filled with canals, islands and bridges: "La Venezia". It is currently home to the "Effetto Venezia" every summer, the biggest event of the city. You can visit "Fortezza Vecchia" (Old Fortress), an impressive pentagonal fortress built to defend the port, and "Fortezza Nuova" (New Fortress), an impressive polygon fortress in stone and brick, built at the end of the 16th century. The fortress is completely surrounded by canals. The coastline of Livorno is a succession of famous resorts (Castiglioncello with its charm and red cliffs hanging over the sea) to the south and well-maintained clean beaches (Tirrenia) to the north. In 30 minutes you can also reach the famous seaside resorts of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi. Livorno is well connected to Pisa, Florence and Lucca by bus or train, and to Sardinia, Corsica and Capraia islands by daily ferries.

I often travel for work, so I know more or less well the world of B&Bs, and I must say that this one quickly became one of my favorites. Roberta was very professional, helpful, and kind. The place is really beautiful, everything is very well taken care of down to the details. Clean, equipped with everything necessary and in a very quiet and central location. I would gladly return. Very well-kept and clean B&B just a few steps from the center. Spacious and quiet room equipped with a kettle and coffee machine. The lady who runs the property is very friendly. I will definitely come back.

Kindness and availability of the lady, in addition to the pleasantness of the room, make this B&B a place to come back to. The bathroom is very nice, large, and tastefully furnished. Everything is very clean. Plus, an unexpected welcome with a hot thermos, organic tea bags, pastries, yogurt, and fruit juice in the fridge. I definitely recommend it.

Beautiful and very spacious apartment, our room with private bathroom was almost as big as our own home! The most comfortable bed we've ever had (and I am quite sensitive about my back so I have an excellent mattress at home), an incredible mattress! Huge bathroom with separate bathtub and shower. Quiet area and Piazza della Vittoria is stunning. The hostess was super friendly and, even though breakfast was not included, she also left us a bowl of cookies. We will definitely come back for a weekend in Livorno. Thank you!

In the very pleasant and quiet context of the tree-lined square, the B&B Verde is located in a beautiful building, inside a large elegant apartment in the city center. The room, clean, quiet, and spacious, features a charming four-poster bed and sober and tasteful furnishings. The mosaic-decorated bathroom is large and equipped with every comfort. There is a fridge and a kettle available for making a hot drink. Mrs. Roberta is welcoming, kind, and helpful. Free parking can be found on Viale Marconi, while the location is convenient for walking outings. In the very close Piazza Attias, from which the shopping streets unwind (among other things, at Via Roma 38 you can find the house of Amedeo Modigliani), it offers several dining options. It is worth mentioning, in this regard, the excellent Pasticceria Caffetteria La Deliziosa, with a bistro service on weekdays and the possibility to sit outside as well. Overall, this B&B Verde is an ideal place to stop for a visit to Livorno.

My wife, my daughter, and I were guests at B&B Verde last weekend. It is a very spacious room inside Mrs. Roberta's family home. Both the house and the room are beautiful. Large spaces, tasteful decor, cool despite the July heat, quiet even though in the city center, attention to detail. I hadn't slept in linen sheets for decades. Full privacy. I think we couldn't have stayed better even in a luxury hotel. Everything was perfect, including the great kindness and hospitality of Mrs. Roberta, whom we still thank and recommend to anyone passing through Livorno.

B&B Verde is located a few meters from the historic center and a 15-minute walk from the sea. The house is beautiful, a suggestive and relaxing location. I have already been here twice (December and February) at this B&B. Everything was perfect: central location, very nice and spacious room, very large bathroom with tub, historic building with high ceilings, abundant breakfast and the very kind Mrs. Roberta! I had a great time.

Beautiful bed & breakfast located in an elegant building in the center of Livorno, mostly furnished with antique furniture and refined taste. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with a large bathroom, with shower and bathtub, all meticulously cared for! The breakfast is plentiful and of quality and the owners are truly courteous and available to accommodate guests' requests. The value for money is really excellent. Highly recommended!

I stayed with my husband and daughter for one night, in an ancient building. The room is very beautiful, with very high ceilings, a four-poster bed with fine linens, very comfortable to sleep in, and the furnishings are classy. The en-suite bathroom is huge and beautiful. The cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom is like at home. The Italian breakfast is excellent, even croissants from the bakery still warm! The location is also excellent. Last but not least, the kindness and cordiality of the owners, it was very pleasant to have a chat. We will definitely come back.

I had a great time at B&B Verde with Roberta and Mimmo, where I stayed for two nights. The building is stunning and located in a very elegant square. The room is spacious, bright, with large windows and high ceilings. It's also very quiet as it overlooks a courtyard. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is huge and the bathtub is equally spacious and comfortable. Everything is tastefully decorated in vintage style. The owners are kind and discreet, the breakfast is delicious and, to top it off, there's a cute kitten that comes for cuddles when you're in the lobby. Definitely a place to return to on every visit to Livorno! See you soon! PS: Roberta, please tell me the brand of the delicious orange juice you serve for breakfast! I've been dreaming about it every day since I returned!

I stayed for work for a week and Mrs. Roberta is a very kind and helpful person. The room is wonderful and the bathroom very large and clean with bathtub and shower. The breakfast very rich: juices, yogurt, jams, brioches, coffee, milk, very good cakes made by Mrs. Roberta and her daughter. I felt very good and I really recommend it! We had a great experience at B&B Verde. They took very good care of us during our stay with them. Very clean large bedroom and bathroom. A great breakfast and attention to detail with nice antiques and pressed bed linens. The location is great for day trips to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Close to the Central train station. Perfect for a relaxing visit to Livorno. If we ever return, we will definitely reserve here. Excellent value and a calm environment.

We stayed at this fantastic B&B for only one night, unfortunately, but it was enough for us to understand that the next time we return to Livorno we will try not to miss the opportunity to stay longer. The structure is enchanting, in a historic residence, very well maintained. The room is spacious and clean, and the service is impeccable. Mrs. Roberta is really kind and discreet, she makes guests feel as if they were at home. She also offers a good and abundant breakfast, which is not taken for granted. It is really rare to find such quality at such an affordable price. Highly recommended.

I had a great time at the B&B Verde! Beautiful house in a central location and very kind and helpful hosts! The breakfast was excellent and very plentiful! I certainly recommend it.

My partner and I had a great time. The managers are kind and very helpful. The room and the bathroom are beautiful, comfortable, and really clean. In the morning, there is a good breakfast, and the table is set with taste. The location is very convenient. If we return to Livorno, we will definitely come back.

In the center of Livorno, a very large room in a magnificent and bright apartment. The room is located at the end of the apartment after a long corridor with beautiful windows. Canopy bed, antique furniture, and a huge and very clean bathroom. The hosts are truly nice and helpful. The perfect Italian breakfast is served in the living room around the magnificent antique furniture. I believe I can confirm that for such a reasonable price, this is the best accommodation you can find in the center of Livorno. I felt really good.
