Description
We offer a large and comfy double bedroom with private bathroom in a nice building of the early 1800s, located in the city centre of Livorno with lovely view of tree-lined square
We are also willing to give any kind of information and details about the city.

Our home is only 200 mt. from Goldoni theatre, 1 Km. from the seafront and the port, 900 mt. from the hospital, 1, 5 km. from the railway stations. A frequent bus service is available at any time.

Check in: at 5 p. m.

Check out: preferably not later than 10 a. m.

However we are available to arrange for any other personal need.

My name is Roberta and I have two children, Maurizio and Elisa. I enjoy traveling, cinema, reading, and good food.

In particular, I have a special love for Livorno, my adopted city. I adore its sea, canals, churches, monuments, villas, market, and its authentic and genuine inhabitants. I want to share my knowledge of the city with my guests and make their stay in my home as pleasant as possible.

The area is well served by shops and buses, and you can also walk to the port and the seafront in 15 minutes, where you can admire the "Terrazza Mascagni" with a lovely view over the sea and the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, and the wonderful "Hotel Palazzi" newly renovated. In 10 minutes you can walk to the charming quarter filled with canals, islands and bridges: "La Venezia". It is currently home to the "Effetto Venezia" every summer, the biggest event of the city. You can visit "Fortezza Vecchia" (Old Fortress), an impressive pentagonal fortress built to defend the port, and "Fortezza Nuova" (New Fortress), an impressive polygon fortress in stone and brick, built at the end of the 16th century. The fortress is completely surrounded by canals. The coastline of Livorno is a succession of famous resorts (Castiglioncello with its charm and red cliffs hanging over the sea) to the south and well-maintained clean beaches (Tirrenia) to the north. In 30 minutes you can also reach the famous seaside resorts of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi. Livorno is well connected to Pisa, Florence and Lucca by bus or train, and to Sardinia, Corsica and Capraia islands by daily ferries.

Kindness and availability of the lady, in addition to the pleasantness of the room, make this B&B a place to come back to. The bathroom is very nice, large, and tastefully furnished. Everything is very clean. Plus, an unexpected welcome with a hot thermos, organic tea bags, pastries, yogurt, and fruit juice in the fridge. I definitely recommend it.

Beautiful and very spacious apartment, our room with private bathroom was almost as big as our own home! The most comfortable bed we've ever had (and I am quite sensitive about my back so I have an excellent mattress at home), an incredible mattress! Huge bathroom with separate bathtub and shower. Quiet area and Piazza della Vittoria is stunning. The hostess was super friendly and, even though breakfast was not included, she also left us a bowl of cookies. We will definitely come back for a weekend in Livorno. Thank you!

In the very pleasant and quiet context of the tree-lined square, the B&B Verde is located in a beautiful building, inside a large elegant apartment in the city center. The room, clean, quiet, and spacious, features a charming four-poster bed and sober and tasteful furnishings. The mosaic-decorated bathroom is large and equipped with every comfort. There is a fridge and a kettle available for making a hot drink. Mrs. Roberta is welcoming, kind, and helpful. Free parking can be found on Viale Marconi, while the location is convenient for walking outings. In the very close Piazza Attias, from which the shopping streets unwind (among other things, at Via Roma 38 you can find the house of Amedeo Modigliani), it offers several dining options. It is worth mentioning, in this regard, the excellent Pasticceria Caffetteria La Deliziosa, with a bistro service on weekdays and the possibility to sit outside as well. Overall, this B&B Verde is an ideal place to stop for a visit to Livorno.

Mia moglie, mia figlia ed io siamo stati ospiti di B&B Verde lo scorso fine settimana. Si tratta di una stanza, molto ampia, all'interno dell'abitazione della famiglia della signora Roberta. Sia la casa che la stanza sono bellissime. Grandi spazi, gusto nell'arredamento, fresca, nonostante il caldo di luglio, silenziosa anche se in pieno centro, curata nei dettagli. Non mi capitava di dormire in lenzuola di lino da decenni. Piena privacy. Penso che non avremmo potuto stare meglio neanche in un hotel di lusso. Tutto perfetto, inclusa la grande gentilezza ed ospitalità della Signora Roberta, che ancora ringraziamo e raccomandiamo a chiunque passi da Livorno.

B&B verde si trova a pochi metri dal centro storico e a 15 minuti a piedi dal mare. La casa è stupenda, una location suggestiva e rilassante. La signora Roberta e suo marito sono stati molto gentili e disponibili, ci hanno dato molte informazioni sulla città. La camera è graziosissima ed il bagno spettacolare. Ci siamo sentite a casa. Una casa davvero meravigliosa che sarebbe da visitare anche se non fosse una struttura ricettiva. Accogliente e centrale, la camera è posta in fondo al salone della casa, regalando intimità al soggiorno, pur sentendosi a casa. Il bagno della camera è affascinante, elegante e classico, con vasca antica, doccia, e arredamento da sogno. Accolti molto gentilmente da Roberta e Domenico, soggiornare qui permette di vivere il centro di Livorno, da una zona tranquilla e ariosa, con possibilità di parcheggio direttamente sotto la struttura. Mi sono sentita a casa e se tornassi a Livorno spererei di poter trovare di nuovo posto qui.

Sono stato già due volte (Dicembre e Febbraio) in questo B&B. Tutto perfetto: posizione centrale, camera molto bella e spaziosa, bagno molto grande con vasca, palazzo di epoca con soffitti alti, colazione abbondante e la signora Roberta gentilissima! Mi sono trovato benissimo.

Bellissimo bed & breakfast sito in un palazzo signorile del centro di Livorno, arredato per lo più con mobili d'epoca e gusto raffinato. Le camere sono molto spaziose e dotate di bagno grande, con doccia e vasca, tutto curato nei dettagli!La colazione è abbondante e di qualità e i proprietari persone veramente cortesi e disponibili ad accogliere le richieste degli ospiti. Il rapporto qualità - prezzo è davvero ottimo. Consigliatissimo!

Ho soggiornato con mio marito e mia figlia per una notte, in un edificio antico. La camera è molto bella, soffitti altissimi, il letto a baldacchino con biancheria di corredo, ci si dorme comodamente, e gli arredi sono di classe. Il bagno in camera è enorme e bellissimo. La pulizia sia della camera che del bagno come a casa. La colazione all'italiana ottima, perfino cornetti di pasticceria ancora caldi! Ottima anche la posizione. Per ultimo, ma non per questo da trascurare, anzi, la gentilezza e la cordialità dei proprietari, è stato piacevolissimo scambiare 2 chiacchere. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Mi sono trovato benissimo al B&B Verde di Roberta e Mimmo, dove ho soggiornato due notti. Il palazzo è stupendo e in una piazza molto elegante. La camera è ariosa, luminosissima, con grandi finestre e soffitti molto alti, nonché molto silenziosa in quanto si affaccia su un cortile. Il letto è comodissimo, il bagno è gigantesco ed altrettanto grande e comoda è la vasca. Il tutto è arredato con molto gusto in stile vintage. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e riservati, la colazione è golosissima e, ciliegina sulla torta, c'è un simpatico gattino che si avvicina in cerca di coccole quando sei nell'atrio. Da tornarci in ogni occasione di visita a Livorno! A presto! PS: Roberta ti prego scrivimi di che marca è la deliziosissima aranciata che servi a colazione! La sogno ogni giorno da quando sono tornato!

A charming B&B full of character dating back to the 1800's. Excellent hostess in Roberta. Cannot praise her high enough had an excellent stay there, also the room top bath was a bonus at the end of day for a lovely long soak.

Ho soggiornato per lavoro una settimana e la signora Roberta è una persona molto gentile e disponibile. La stanza meravigliosa e il bagno molto grande e pulito con vasca da bagno e la doccia. La colazione ricchissima: succhi, yogurt, marmellate, brioche, caffè, latte, buonissime le torte fatte dalla signora Roberta e dalla figlia. Mi sono trovata molto bene e lo consiglio veramente! We had a great experience at B and B Verde. They took very good care of us during our stay with them. Very clean large bed room and bathroom. A great breakfast and attention to detail with nice antiques and pressed bed linens. The location is great for day trips to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Close to the Central train Station. Perfect for a relaxing visit to Livorno. If we ever return we will definitely reserve here. Excellent value and a calm environment. 5 stars~ Very happy!

Abbiamo pernottato una sola notte ed è stato un vero peccato perché la struttura è molto bella. Mi sono sentita a casa ed è sempre una sensazione molto piacevole. Può essere un ottimo punto d'appoggio anche per visitare i dintorni. Consigliatissimo.

Abbiamo pernottato in questo fantastico B&B solo una notte (purtroppo), ma ci è bastato per capire che la prossima volta che torneremo a Livorno cercheremo di non farci sfuggire l'occasione di restarci più giorni. La struttura è incantevole, in una dimora d'epoca, molto ben tenuta. La camera ampia e pulita, il servizio impeccabile. La signora Roberta davvero gentile e discreta, fa sentire gli ospiti come se fossero a casa propria. Offre anche una buona ed abbondante colazione, il che non è scontato. È davvero raro trovare tanta qualità ad un prezzo così accessibile. Consigliatissimo! Barbara T.

In pieno centro di Livorno, camera grandissima in un appartamento magnifico e pieno di luce! La camera si trova in fondo all'appartamento dopo un lungo corridoio con delle bellissime finestre! letto a baldacchino, mobili antichi e un bagno enorme e pulitissimo! i gestori sono veramente carini e disponibili!!! la perfetta colazione italiana è servita nel salotto intorno al magnifico mobilio antico. credo di poter confermare che per un prezzo così contenuto questa sia la migliore sistemazione che si può trovare nel centro di Livorno!!! mi sono trovata veramente bene!!
