Description
In the centre of the small town of Buti, whose origins go probably back to Roman times, on the slopes of the Pisan mountains, you can find our Bed and Breakfast "San Francesco".
Here it is possible to take a moment and enjoy the atmosphere of tranquil surroundings, where today, you can still experience the relaxed ambience of times gone by. In this beautiful and historical part of Italy you will receive a warm, traditional Tuscan welcome from people who appreciate the importance of taking time out of your busy day to day life.
The Bed and Breakfast San Francesco has been recently refurbished in a traditional Tuscan style. Rita, the proprietor has carried out the interior design personally and to a very high standard. She opened the business relatively recently; and as she relates well to people, provides a warm and courteous welcome to her guests. Making them feel right at home. Rita believes that the ambience is of the utmost importance and hopes her guests will take this with them when they leave.
We have two double rooms and two four-bedded rooms, with attic, all of them having their own bathroom, provided with bed and bath linen. Air Conditioned - TV.
We also have very large mini-apartments with attic, four beds, a bed settee, tv and a fully equipped cooking area with refrigerator.
Rita looks after the breakfast, which will be served in the large and peaceful balcony, surrounded by the mountains; there you will find a rich and tasty buffet.

Great B&B with lovely and helpful hosts who really do the utmost to make it an unforgettable stay! Nice clean room, fantastic breakfast with homemade pie and fresh eggs of their own chicken. In a nice little village with a lot of restaurants, this is a great place to be when travelling in Tuscany.

It is a charming place in the centre of a small tipical tuscan village. The location suited us fine because we had friends in the area and it is a very good base to visit places like Pisa, Vinci and lots of suggestions from the host. Very good price to quality. Private parking just a few yards away.
The breakfast is very good and abundant; home made cakes every day and local specialities; coffee made by the host with moka every morning. The host is very charming and has a lot of tips about places to see, local traditions and local restaurants. The village has many places to eat out, even just below the B&B.

Abbiamo alloggiato per due giorni su suggerimento di un amico e leggendo anche varie recensioni il posto prometteva bene; e le aspettative non sono state deluse. Abbiamo alloggiato nell'appartamento da 4 con il piano rialzato, molto confortevole specie per chi a differenza di noi ci va con la famiglia dotato di aria condizionata e due ventilatori, che d'estate non fanno sicuramente male, e con letti molto comodi e lunghi anche per chi come me arriva quasi al metro e novanta (in hotel a 4 stelle è capitato di dormire con i piedi fuori dal letto).
La colazione è un'altra nota di merito per il B&B; torte fatte in casa e lo yogurt non possono non essere assaggiati ma c'è comunque ampia scelta per tutti i gusti con frutta, succhi di frutta e marmellate.
L'artefice di tutto ciò è Rita, la titolare, persona della quale sin dai primi contatti telefonici si intuisce la cordialità e disponibilità, constatate poi di persona, dove siano stati trattati da amici e non da comuni clienti.
Per chi fosse nelle zone tra Pisa (30 min) e Lucca (25 min) e volesse alloggiare economicamente, di qualità e sentendosi a casa è vivamente consigliato.

Très bon accueil et la suite est parfaite pour une famille de 4 avec une vue magnifique sur la montagne.
Le village est petit mais il y pas mal de restos sympas, essentiellement fréquenté par des locaux.

In viaggio con la famiglia abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura veramente ben tenuta e curata in modo squisito dalla signora Rita.
Ottimi momenti si vivono con la colazione ricca e varia, gustata in una terrazza con vista sui monti, immersi nel caratteristico brusio delle piccole comunità toscane.
Consigliato vivamente a chi cerca una struttura appena fuori il caos di città e ricco di scorci tipici della toscana.

Accueil très chaleureux de Rita la propriétaire, une petite bouteille d'eau minérale offerte pour la nuit quand il faut chaud, un petit déjeuné magnifique avec des gâteau fait maison. Cerise sur le gâteau, quelques douceurs à manger sur la route en continuant de visiter la Toscane; Bref n'hésitez pas, allez y!

La posizione del B&B si presta per scoprire i dintorni con passeggiate a piedi al cui termine si torna volentieri nel B&B; pulito, curato, accogliente.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce B&B. La propriétaire est très accueillante. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Le lieu est calme et idéalement situé pour visiter Pise et Lucca.
