Bed and Berli

We were guests in the wonderful residence of Claudio and Costanza. Two exceptional hosts who made us feel at ease right away. The structure is immersed in greenery and offers a breathtaking view, with Florence towering in all its beauty. The room was not only large and equipped with all comforts but also conveyed a sense of "home". The exceptional breakfast served on the terrace was another plus. Regardless of all the beauty and comfort of the place, the difference is made, as I mentioned at the beginning, by the exceptional hosts. Highly recommended!

I was in Florence for a trip that was neither for pleasure nor for work. I decided not to book the accommodation in advance because I wanted to see it in person, meet the manager, check the feasibility of the road to get there, and frankly because the next day I could stay closer to the hospital, the destination of my trip. I checked in late in the afternoon. I immediately fell in love with the location and received a truly rare welcome, which I cannot describe well but that made me feel at home, a pleasant sense of safety and tranquility, two factors that I needed very much. The following days were hard, sad, difficult, but I knew that in the evening I would return there, where I would find Claudio and Costanza, two people who meant a lot, who welcomed me with warmth, professionalism, and humanity. My thanks and all the reviews I could write will not be enough to make them understand how much they meant during those days, how much their invitation to the Easter lunch embraced me in a warm hug. I slept fabulously despite the heaviness and the thoughts, because Claudio chose the mattress and pillows with extreme care, not even at home do I sleep this well. Heartfelt thanks to both of you. A 10 is a high score, the maximum, but believe me, it does not do justice to their work and the people they are.

I was a solo traveller with a car, I cannot recommend this place enough, it was ideal and perfect for what I was looking for, somewhere, out of the main city overlooking the city with ease of getting into the city, it was a 5 minute drive to parking near a tram that took me to the city centre, usually the journey took a total of 25 minutes, with plenty of planning time on the tram. The hosts went above and beyond and I luckily got to stay there for 16 nights with days heading into Firenze (Florence) and days driving around the Tuscany countryside; wine tasting, landscape viewing etc. It was exciting driving around this place with scenic restaurants very close by less than 5 minute drive, the hosts always prepared breakfast with so many options and offers as well as requests, even to the point of clothes washing when required as I stayed for many nights. The breakfasts were just what Italians have, coffee and brioche (croissant) with a variety of extras, the bed was comfy, the weather was perfect (October) as far as temperature goes, the region was stunning, so green with olive farms everywhere, close hikes and bike tracks, recommendations and directions with easy contact with the hosts. The bathroom and showering use was second to none and was nice to clean up after some long highly intense days and is a nice place to wind down with some wine and music. There is nothing I could say badly about this place, it may be a touch tricky to find the first time you travel there, but most of the people in this area are friendly and can help. (they helped me), I had the pleasure of getting to know the hosts well and can tell you that they want you to have the best experience in this region. Glowing couple from my point of view.

Very good welcome, nice room. Florence is very accessible by tram from a parking lot indicated by the owners.
