Description

Welcome to our charming historic farmhouse, dating back to the mid-19th century and completely renovated in 2024. Located in the picturesque countryside of Compito, just two kilometers from the beautiful city of Lucca, our accommodation will immerse you in authentic Tuscan style.

Our rooms will offer you a unique experience, with comfortable beds located under vaulted ceilings and "Lucchesi" tiles, surrounded by original stone walls. Each room, with its unique decor and style, is equipped with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.

Every morning, in our cozy breakfast room, we will serve you a delicious continental breakfast. Throughout the rest of the day, you can freely enjoy tea and coffee at your disposal.

Inside the property, you will have access to our shed, where you can store your personal bicycles. Additionally, upon request, we offer a rental service for a pleasant bike ride along the Nottolini Aqueduct and the City Walls.

We are located just 2. 5 km from Lucca and 2 km from the train station. If you prefer to arrive by train, we will be happy to offer you a complimentary shuttle service.

In addition to our house in Lucca, we can offer you an apartment on the shores of the Gulf of Follonica, facing the Island of Elba, just 1 km from the beautiful sandy beaches, or accommodation in the Rocca Aldobrandesca in a medieval village at the foot of Mount Amiata.

We have done our best to create a comfortable and welcoming environment, so that you can feel at home..or rather, on vacation!

We stayed two nights at B&B Toringo, and it was a wonderful experience for our last days in Tuscany. The host was very nice. It felt like home, more than a place to stay. It's a new place and the room was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you for the great hospitality.

My stay at this wonderful place was excellent. The house is beautiful, atmospheric, and cozy. The breakfasts are excellent (European-style). The hostess bakes delicious pastries herself. She is very energetic and positive and is always happy to help. If you are looking for comfort, coziness, and a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place for you!

Very well kept and very clean, recently renovated. Friendly hosts. Very good internet. Very conveniently located for trips to Lucca and Pisa. It is also possible to reach Lucca by bicycle.

We only stayed one night at this charming B&B but wish it could have been longer. The owners were charming and did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible, including getting up early to offer us an early breakfast before we left for the airport. The spread was so amazing we felt bad that we didn’t have more time to enjoy it. When we return to Lucca we will definitely stay here again, and stay for longer.

We stayed one night in this lovely B&B just outside the city center of Lucca. The location, if you have a car, is excellent and allows you to easily reach the city walls in just a few minutes. The property has internal parking. The rooms have been recently renovated and are aesthetically pleasing and carefully cleaned. The bathrooms are spacious and have windows, the shower is large and every comfort is available. In each room, there is a minibar with reasonable prices and a bottle of microfiltered water as a gift. The buffet breakfast is varied and abundant, with sweet and savory dishes, both packaged and homemade. The couple managing the property proved to be very welcoming and kind, providing essential help with our pet that accompanied us during our stay.

We had already stayed at Toringo last year and we were so well that we returned this year. The structure is very original, as it has been renovated while preserving the beautiful aspects of the old one, wooden beams, terracotta floors, and adding, with great taste and skill, modern accessories, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with state-of-the-art fixtures, and this year also a fridge in the room. The hosts are very kind and friendly, the breakfast is abundant and very varied. Additionally, the structure is convenient for the highway. We will definitely return.

A very nice location. The room is clean, welcoming, and especially a very comfortable bed. The whole environment is renovated. Unfortunately, we could not give a rating to the breakfast because we had to leave very early and did not want to disturb Mrs. Rosa even though she offered us a takeaway basket. The owner is a really lovely person.

Rosa and Riccardo were very kind and helpful, they know how to make you feel comfortable. A really pleasant stay in a family atmosphere. The rooms are brand new and the breakfast is excellent. The property is located in a strategic spot to reach Lucca and is convenient to reach other villages and cities in Tuscany. Definitely recommended and I would come back!

A new establishment run by two exceptional hosts. The place is super clean and the breakfast is excellent. The cleanliness and design of the establishment are commendable. It is located in a strategic position, just outside Lucca and 20 km from Pisa. The next time we go to the area, we will definitely stay with them. They accept pets. My friend and I stayed at this B&B for Lucca Comics and we must say that we are quite satisfied. The prices were reasonable compared to other alternatives, even though we booked quite late, which in other places leads to sky-high prices. The quality was undoubtedly high for the price, with well-kept and comfortable rooms and a spacious, clean, and functional bathroom. The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful, and the breakfast was complete and pleasant. The only downside was the distance from the center, but compared to the other pros, it can be overlooked. In fact, if no problems arise, we have considered the idea of returning next year.

We stayed one night at this B&B Toringo with family, taking two beautiful rooms furnished with care and taste. The bathrooms are fabulous and complete with everything necessary. The breakfast is very well cared for and truly delicious, both sweet and savory. Homemade jams, sweets, and savory pies. The owners are very kind and I recommend it. If I must find a flaw, there is a little noise from the street, but earplugs are provided! Nothing is left to chance.

The stay in this establishment was extremely pleasant. It is surprising how the owners managed, in the very recent renovation, to harmonize what was ancient, such as the terracotta floors and the ceilings with wooden beams, with the modern, with a simple and functional decor, sometimes even surprising, such as the wardrobe hidden behind a large mirror. Original are the bedside lamps that come with a wire from the ceiling, the bathroom has accessories of excellent quality and the drains are extremely quiet. The breakfast is very well prepared, delicious and abundant. The owners are very kind and ready to provide directions if requested. What more can I say? We will definitely return as soon as possible.

We stayed in this B&B for a couple of days with a couple of friends and we really enjoyed it. The owner Ruzina is a really kind and very nice person who makes you feel immediately in a family atmosphere. The rooms are very beautiful, well-kept and clean, as well as the bathroom. The breakfast is really a very convivial and pleasant moment with a rich buffet of sweets, savory dishes, and fruit for all tastes. Surely when we return to Lucca, we already know where to stay.

Location in a strategic place, five minutes by car from Lucca, located in the greenery. The structure was renovated with great care. Breakfast is good, varied, and abundant. Recently renovated structure maintaining the original charm and adding the necessary technology for a great and comfortable stay. Owners new to the industry but very kind and helpful. Even though opinions are subjective, excellent breakfast as well as sleep quality. There is the possibility to have a shelter for the motorcycle. We also recommended this B&B to our son.
