Completely renovated Bed and Breakfast, cozy and meticulous in detail, offers the perfect destination to visit Tuscany's art cities (FLORENCE is reachable in less than 1 hour, PISA and LUCCA in 30 minutes and SIENA in an hour and a half) but also the towns of S. MINIATO (15 minutes), VINCI (30 minutes), VOLTERRA and S. GIMIGNANO (1 hour).
It is located in the HILLTOP village of Santa Maria a Monte, unique in its urban "spiral" or "snail" arrangement where you can visit the Carducci Museum (dedicated to the Nobel Prize-winning poet GIOSUÈ CARDUCCI), the Beata Diana Giuntini Civic Museum and the archaeological complex of the ROCCA.
Visitors can also explore the underground city with its tunnels and cisterns that served as shelter during castle attacks. Among the streets of the village is also the house of Vincenzo Galilei, father of the great scientist GALILEO GALILEI. The village and neighboring towns offer numerous opportunities for cultural events, leisure, shopping, relaxation, and everything that can accompany an ideal vacation.

The operators are really nice and welcomed us very warmly. The house is beautifully located and there are many good restaurants around the town. Here we were given great recommendations by the hosts.
