The Colonna has recently been renovated to provide you, our guests, with enhanced comfort and relaxation.

The building is located in the heart of the Historic Center, on the ground floor of a historic palace, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot.

The rooms are tastefully decorated in a traditional Tuscan style and overlook a beautiful private garden, ensuring complete tranquility for your stay.

The accommodation is excellent, within walking distance from the station, tastefully furnished and quiet. The owner cares about using resources consciously; he even comes by bike in pouring rain, very likeable. I couldn't have chosen better! Only drawback: all the rooms are on the ground floor and are naturally rather dark. I didn't really have a view from my window (the room faced the inner courtyard). The grille in front of the window increases security, but at the same time you also feel a bit confined. Thanks, Mirko, for the great tips!

The host is very friendly and helpful and the location in the historic center of Lucca is excellent. The room with a bathroom is clean and equipped with everything necessary. Good value for money. When I return to Lucca I will definitely contact this property.

I give the highest marks because the property is old and the host takes great care of it. You stay in the center of Lucca, with antique furniture whose scent takes you back in time, and every modernization, such as the bathroom and heating facilities, has been carried out with respect for the residence as far as possible. It is, in effect, a historic residence, and this allows you to live a singular experience. Marco's courtesy is unique, as is his flexibility in managing services. He is always available and attentive. With him you do not feel like a customer but like a guest. Excellent experience which I recommend.

We stayed at this B&B in Lucca and can only highly recommend it! The property is located in a really strategic position: very close to the historic center and the main attractions, but at the same time in a quiet area, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The tranquility of the place was one of the highlights of the stay: you sleep very well, without any disturbance. The room was clean and welcoming. A special thanks to the owner, always friendly, helpful, and ready to provide useful tips on what to visit, where to eat, and how to get around the city. It was truly a pleasure; we will definitely return!

Excellent welcome, located a few meters from the walls and 5 meters from the ZTL area. Wonderful cool terrace, great rest with comfortable beds. It costs a little more than other accommodations but quality has its price. Better to spend a bit more and have a cozy stay.

Great location and easy to find from the train station. The room doesn’t get the sun so stays relatively cool, it also has a ceiling fan. Would have liked bigger towels and a spare toilet roll. A small fridge for drinks would be a good addition.

Stayed in the small garden room which was lovely as it looked out on an enclosed garden which meant you hear only birds and the sound of children playing on the next street. This is an historical building and was lovely and cool despite the outside temperature. The window is covered on the outside by a mosquito net meaning you could leave your window open all night if you wish. La Colonna is right in the heart of Lucca and everything is within a short walking distance. Mirko is a lovely host and made my stay here a pleasure. Happily recommend.

We were guests at the B&B La Colonna, my wife and I, last weekend. The location of the property is excellent and suitable for walking and visiting the entire city within its majestic walls. The manager is available for all requests and especially, which never hurts, for valuable culinary and receptive recommendations for all needs.

I stayed with my boyfriend for the Gorillaz concert in July, I booked a double room and we had a great time. The owners are friendly and very kind. Mr. Mario was fantastic, he gave us a ride from the station to the property and also back. It's a 5-minute walk from the Walls. Very clean.
