We’re about 15 minutes away from the Central Station (Santa Maria Novella), in the hystorical "OLTRARNO" disctrict of “San Frediano”, famous meeting point of Florence’s nightlife with its bars, cafes, restaurants and typical markets.
A relaxing walk along the river Arno will take you to the Duomo, Pontevecchio, Uffizi Museum and then Piazza Della Signoria.
In just 20 minutes, by foot, you’ll be in front of Palazzo Pitti with its magnificent Boboli Gardens and Piazza S. Spirito.
The Fortezza Da Basso, the trade fair centre hosts events like Pitti Uomo is only 1.5 Km from the B&B.

We were very pleased with our B&B in Centro. The room was spacious and had a lovely little balcony. The breakfast at the local coffee shop was the best fresh brioche/cornetto we had in all of Florence. The only minor drawback was the distance from the city center, but the road along the Arno River was also beautiful.

Excellent. Luigi is very kind; he even recommended many excellent and delicious places. In 30 minutes on foot you are in the very center of Florence, the city of the heart. Breakfast was excellent, with exquisite and fresh pastries; we will miss it. The only tiny flaw: you can only choose sweet items; perhaps add something savory, but it is a small detail. I would return on my next trip to Florence.

Very nice B&B, well furnished, spotlessly clean, in a quiet location and perfect for reaching the main points of interest with a short walk. Good restaurants just steps away. Luigi is super helpful and very kind. We will definitely come back.

Luigi, the owner, was exceptionally attentive. From the moment we booked, he was available for any questions or concerns. The property is on the other side of the river. It’s about a 30 minute walk into town. The tram is close, there’s a coffee shop on the corner and a supermarket behind. Clean, comfortable and charming. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Florence.

We had a great time, thanks again to Luigi for the hospitality. The place was well kept, check-in was done simply and comfortably. Quiet area. The breakfast was delicious with top quality products, also plentiful as you could choose two items per person in addition to coffee or cappuccino. It's about a 20-minute walk from the center, but it doesn't feel heavy at all as there are many things to see along the way.

Perfect accommodation in a quieter area of Florence, but still within walking distance of the historical centre and one of my favourite neighbourhoods, Santo Spirito. In terms of value and quality, you can't go wrong! Room was very comfortable for 3 people, immaculately clean and breakfast was provided in a local bar/cafe around the corner. There was even a fridge for communal use which was very much appreciated. Luigi was a very welcoming host and his communication pre check-in was clear and prompt. Would not hesitate to recommend, we are returning in September :)

Breakfast is included, the owner gives you a voucher to use at a bakery 100 meters away that is worth it! The owner of the B&B is very helpful. B&B located not far from the historic center. It was really a gem. The helpful manager warmly welcomed us and accompanied us to the clean and very welcoming room. He also recommended some trattorias. We tried one and I must say it was delicious. We felt at home. We will definitely return, also because the quality-price ratio is very high. Not to mention the breakfast, made at the affiliated bar, it was abundant and very good. Thank you Luigi for this wonderful experience.

Clean, comfortable stay within walking distance to the city center and great restaurants. This property was in a slightly quieter location, but an easy walk to all of the main sites. The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. They also let us check in early (around 11 am) which was much appreciated after our long travel journey.

The bare minimum. B&B that is not very suitable for travelers. There are no clothes drying racks, a shared kitchen in case one wants to cook something brought from outside, and other utilities. The breakfast arranged with the nearby bar leaves much to be desired, given the limited choice available with the B&B coupons. No fresh juice and also no to the better pastries and croissants. A breakfast costing about 3 euros and a bed for more than 50 euros. Definitely too much considering the not very central location. In a star rating, I would give 2 out of 5.

Buongiorno Ivan, Forse doveva prenotare un appartamento e non una stanza, visto tutte le sue richieste... La cucina è indicato che non c'è, per questo la colazione viene fatta al bar e comunque è compresa nel prezzo, non ci sono costi aggiuntivi. Ci sono a disposizione un frigo e un microonde. Avete soggiornato una notte arrivando la sera, avevate una camera di 30 mq divisa in due stanze con bagno ampio, in alta stagione a firenze, a un prezzo le assicuro molto buono per la media della città, non so a cosa siete abituati... La pasticceria è una delle migliori a Firenze, io davvero non so cosa dire apparte che mi dispiace, perchè come al solito quando siete qui fate sorrisoni, siete carini e va tutto bene, poi mi ritrovo questo tipo di recensioni... Capisco non si possa piacere a tutti ma insomma un pò di rispetto per chi è qui a lavorare e che vi è venuto incontro in tutti i modi sopratutto per il check-in...Saluti.

I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights. The reception by Luigi was very warm, the accommodation impeccably clean. The room is cleaned every day, towels are changed on the 2nd day. Even though the window faces a main street, it was quiet at night. The bed is good for the back (firmer mattress), especially if you're out in the city all day. By bus, you can reach the center (Cathedral) or the train station in 10-15 minutes. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Salve Dora, rimango molto male per questa recensione visto che vi siete anche permesse di fumare in camera nonostante fosse chiaramente vietato e nonostante potessi multarvi non l'ho fatto. Forse la camera era fredda perchè appuntop fumando la finestra rimaneva aperta, avevate riscladamento perfettamente funzionante e condizionatore con aria calda che volendo potevate accendere........ La colazione inclusa nel prezzo è presso una delle migliori pasticcerie di Firenze, mi dispiace non sia stata al vostro livello.... Vi ricordo comuque che avete pagato 60 euro per una camera a Firenze, con pure la colzione inclusa......non aggiungo altro. Saluti, Luigi

Recently renovated structure. I really appreciated the colors and the style chosen for the room walls. Top the entrance. The only flaw is the lack of a bidet in the bathroom. Luigi is a perfect host, kind and helpful.

We had two communicating rooms with a bathroom. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and very clean. The property is well served for the center with a tram station a few meters away. The owner Luigi was very kind and provided us with breakfast vouchers at a nearby bar. Very abundant breakfast. We were also recommended a parking lot not far away, very convenient and with a 50% discount. Luigi also suggested some places for lunches and dinners both in the surrounding area and in the center of Florence. Very clear in explaining the services. Truly a beautiful vacation without any problems, highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in Florence without being in the chaos of the center and arriving by car without encountering the ZTL. EXCELLENT.

The best choice! We opted for 2 nights in the economy double room and everything went very well. Luigi was very kind, immediately upon our arrival he made sure to provide us with a map of the city indicating points of interest and restaurants for dinner. Everything perfect and as described. Luigi followed us from the moment of booking until departure, satisfying our requests and giving us useful advice on what to do and where to eat. In the rooms, we found a map of Florence with everything marked. Excellent initiative! The rooms are located inside an ancient building, which can be reached with 2 flights of stairs. The decor is modern and functional mixed with period floors and very high ceilings. In the room, there is a kettle and a tea kit. While in the corridor, there is a microwave and a large refrigerator shared with the other rooms. Everything meticulously clean. We had the bathroom in the room, small and without a window but efficient, especially the shower with a new showerhead and without limescale as often happens even in more prestigious environments. Breakfast is served in a bar located 50 meters from the property. Definitely B&B In Centro to be considered for future stays in Florence. Oh, I forgot: for those arriving by car, the B&B is just outside the ZTL with parking in blue stripes and a 'Esselunga' supermarket a few meters away. Highly recommended and compliments to Luigi.

Per quanto riguarda la pulizia mi farebbe piacere sapere dove avete trovato sporco, in modo da potermi migliorare…… Un saluto e un consiglio, visto che siete così esigenti un hotel farebbe più al caso vostro! Our family of 5 (2 adults 3 children) enjoyed very much our 2 nights stay in Florence, in a big part because of staying in the huge Family Room of B&B In Centro, as the spaciousness of the house afforded us the luxury of movement, and I would know having stayed in a good number of tiny space hotel rooms on this trip covering 4 countries 9+ cities.\n\nSpecial mention must go out to Luigi, the owner, who had been nothing but helpful right from the booking stage (where I had to change my stay from 3 nights to 2 because of change of trip schedule), to giving very precise information on how to reach the apartment, to helping us carry our 3 Big luggagges into our room on arrival, and offering tips on how to explore the beautiful city of Florence, and booking us taxi to Central train station on checking out.\n\nSo thank you so much, Luigi, for making our short 3 days 2 nights stay in Florence a wonderful experience.\n\nP. Very beautiful and spacious room in a structure, literally, 10 minutes walk from the historical center of the city. The owner is a very kind and more than helpful person, and at check-in he gave us a lot of information on how to move around and where to have lunch/dinner in the various areas. Also very useful is the agreement with the nearby paid parking. Breakfast is to be done at a bar/pastry shop a few minutes from the B&B In Centro for which you have daily vouchers. The only slight downside for a 2-night stay: the toilet seat couldn't stay up. Nothing serious, though.

Great place just before the ZTL, so easily reachable by car.\n\nUnfortunately, it does not have parking, so you have to look for it.\n\nMy room was very beautiful, well-kept, and clean, the only flaw being the lack of a bidet in the bathroom.\n\nMr. Luigi's welcome is very kind and professional.\n\nFinally, breakfast is served outside the facility in agreement with a pastry shop and is very good.\n\nHighly recommended place. I will come back.

Very good value for money, the room well maintained and clean at a fair price. Not excessively far from the historic center, the manager very friendly and welcoming, I really appreciated that upon arrival he provided a map pointing out points of interest and great places to have dinner or taste wines.

Beautiful location in a strategic position for walking around, excellent and abundant breakfast (two pastries per person, coffee, cappuccino, and choice of tea). The owner Luigi, a nice person who gives advice on where to have dinner avoiding the usual tourist places. Very comfortable room with a private bathroom in a quiet area. Highly recommended!

The manager Luigi was very friendly and helpful in everything, as well as professional. We had a great time, I recommend it even if you plan to visit the center, which is about a fifteen-minute walk away. Breakfast at the bar/pastry shop below is delicious.

Manager of the B&B very helpful and polite. Extremely clean room equipped with all comforts. Although rooms with en-suite bathroom were not available, we did not experience any inconvenience because the private bathroom outside the room was large and spacious and like the room, very clean. Abundant breakfast included in the price in a very nice bar next to the B&B managed by lovely people who allowed us to replace one of the two pastries with other items. Convenient location, 10 minutes' walk from the station and the main tourist attractions in Florence. We will definitely return to stay at this B&B when we return to Florence. Thank you.

Very pleasant, quiet, and clean room. The bathroom in the room we were assigned is inside the room itself and has been renovated. The B&B In Centro is very well located, about a 10-minute walk from the historic center. Breakfast is served in a cafe with delicious coffee and pastries. The structure is very close to the Parco delle Cascine, so it's an ideal location for concerts, and for those who don't mind walking, also for visiting the center. The room was spacious, well furnished, with a small bathroom. Cleanliness ok and air conditioning in the room! Breakfast with a coupon at a nearby bar, with 2 brioches and a drink each. In the immediate vicinity, a very convenient supermarket. Luigi, the manager, is very kind and provides all the useful information.

I stayed at the B&B In Centro for just one night but I was positively impressed. The structure is 1.5 km away from the SM Novella train station and is easily reachable on foot. Clean room, well-furnished, quiet, facing the inner courtyard and not the street. Breakfast is not served at the B&B, but you have a voucher available at the nearby pastry shop (drinks + 2 pastries, excellent!). Making the short stay even more enjoyable, the kindness and availability of Luigi, the manager, who, giving me a city map, recommended restaurants and places in the area, as well as the most convenient routes. In short, if I were to return to Florence, I already know where to stay!

With my partner, we spent three nights in Florence and were looking for a nice B&B, just outside the historic center, with affordable prices. After two days of intense research (I am very picky), here they are! Upon arrival, we are greeted by the smiling Luigi, and we enter a sophisticated atrium with soft lights and a slight and very good scent in the air. He shows us our room, the red one, and expectations are not disappointed, we find it just like in the photos. Extremely clean, with TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, shower gel bottles, and a welcome candy on the personal linen. Very kind, he gives us a map of the city marking the main attractions, trattorias where to eat well without spending a fortune, and bus stops to go to and from the B&B. Extremely helpful, he leaves us the number for any eventuality. Great thing the luggage deposit for the last day, which in many places is not available. The breakfast (2 croissants, cappuccino/coffee/tea), already included, is at the Pegaso bar, 150 m from the B&B. To summarize: Everything perfect, we had a wonderful time, I highly recommend it! B&B In Centro Firenze was a terrific place to stay. It is located in the old part of the city and is within walking distance to all the sites that you want to see. The host was wonderful. He was helpful with suggestions on places to go and eat. He went out of his way. The room was great. It was clean and nicely decorated. Everything that I needed was there. While there are a few rooms, the bed and breakfast was quiet and I still felt that I had my privacy. The breakfast is at a little place down the street. It is good as you get to have breakfast with the locals and was filling. My stay here contributed to the wonderful time that I had in Firenze. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to explore this amazing city on foot and eat/drink at local places (less touristy). I would stay here again without a doubt.

We spent 2 nights in Florence and chose the B&B In Centro. \n\nWe could easily reach everything on foot from the B&B: historic center, restaurants, shopping. Perfect! The B&B is not located in the noisy center, which we found advantageous. \n\nThe train station is about 15 minutes away by bus. \n\nWe had a double room with a private bathroom. The room is very large, quiet and clean, the bed was very comfortable. \n\nThe owner is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is served in a pastry shop about 100m away. \n\nOverall, we had a very nice stay at the B&B. We can recommend it without reservation and would book there again at any time.
