Great B&B with friendly and welcoming host. The room assigned to me was spacious and secluded. Everything clean and comfortable, essential and functional furnishings. I will definitely come back next time.

We were very comfortable, the location is close to the center (20 minutes walk). The room is comfortable and cozy, the bathroom is 7 steps away from it, but it's not a problem. The best part, the host. Mariano is kind, gentle, and always willing to help you with whatever you need. Thanks to him, one experiences Florence through his eyes and with the excitement he puts into every explanation about the places. We stayed two nights on the occasion of the "Brewer of the Year". The owner welcomed us very well, explained everything in detail, and was always ready to help us with any need, very polite and helpful. Cozy and clean room, very rich breakfast. We will definitely return next year!

Rooms in a late 19th-century building in a quiet area close to the Franchi stadium and Campo di Marte Station. Various accommodation options: room with private internal, external, or shared bathroom. Simple but functional rooms with everything you need. Extremely kind host, prompt in responses and requests, and very helpful with any information about the city. We will definitely come back. Attention to people with reduced mobility: the property is on the second floor without an elevator.

Very well-kept and quiet B&B, very well connected to the center of Florence. It was very easy to reach the center by the convenient electric bikes located under the house, but also on foot. One of the strengths of the structure is certainly Mariano who does everything to make you feel at ease, ready to give any advice about the city and you can really see the passion with which he manages this B&B. It was very interesting in the morning to be able to wake up peacefully and enjoy a nice chat with him. A must-visit for a stay in Florence.

B&B very cozy and close to the historic center (about 2 km from the squares and the Cathedral). The owner, Mariano, is a very helpful and caring person, very attentive to the cleanliness of the place and taking care of the guests, providing useful tips for visiting the city.

B&B Il Tabernacolo is welcoming and in a convenient location to easily reach the city center, both on foot in 15/20 minutes and by public transport (the stop is 100 meters from the property). Excellent cleanliness, fairly complete breakfast, and Mariano, the manager, very friendly, approachable, as well as helpful for any information. Absolutely recommended.

Easily accessible property with parking options nearby. A stone's throw from B&B Il Tabernacolo and the center of Florence, in a quiet area. Very cozy room, well furnished, internal bathroom all very clean! The owner's welcome was truly warm, he saved the parking spot for us. Good morning, I stayed at the B&B Il Tabernacolo with my mother for a total of 2 nights. The structure is excellent, complete with everything necessary, from the rooms to a small common area provided with everything needed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The same goes for the location. It is close to useful bus stops or for walking around. The manager, Mr. Mariano, is kind and always available for any eventuality.

I needed a room as a support for one night but the structure exceeded my expectations. Excellent value for money, the manager who welcomes you is very kind, helpful, and meticulous in showing the structure and what it offers. The structure is located about 15 minutes walk from Campo di Marte station or can also be reached by urban buses. I will definitely come back if I need accommodation in Florence.

At B&B Il Tabernacolo I had a great time, even if only for one night. Everything needed was there, the area is very quiet and the manager, Mariano, is always attentive and helpful.

Mariano is a very hospitable owner. He is attentive to our needs and willing to offer his service. The only disadvantage is the very poor breakfast. Maybe in the future we will visit the room again.

This building truly has a charming old-fashioned ambience. Our host Mariano was very gracious and accommodating. He answered all our questions and was very welcoming. There is no lift in this building so you will have to walk up three flights of stairs. Mariano was kind to carry our luggage up the stairs and also called a taxi for us the next morning.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights. Mariano is a perfect, friendly, and helpful host, always ready to give advice and directions. The place is spotlessly clean and has everything you need: hairdryer, shower gel, bath set, water, and a fridge with a variety of products. The location is convenient to reach the historic center both on foot and by bus. The B&B is located in a quiet historic building, equipped with heating and air conditioning. I stayed at the bed and breakfast Il Tabernacolo and I really enjoyed it, not to mention the availability, hospitality, abundant breakfast, by the owner who proved to be very kind in everything. I highly recommend it and hope to be able to come back.

Mariano is a wonderful host. Charming and proactive, he goes out of his way to help in any way he can. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately the property is not well soundproofed and is on a busy road, and you are at the whim of how quiet your fellow B&B guests are as the walls are so thin, you can hear everything.

Everything perfect, very hospitable and extremely kind manager. I recommend improving the breakfast, an espresso coffee machine with the option to make cappuccino instead of the moka pot, and I would add some savory snacks and fresh bread.

We stayed at this property for a weekend in Florence taking advantage of a concert we wanted to see and to visit the city. Excellent location (15 minutes walk from the Nelson Mandela Forum, 30 minutes walk from the center, with the possibility of renting bicycles everywhere in the city and deciding whether to move on foot or by bike... goodbye car for a whole weekend!). Mariano is a commendable host. Super welcoming and helpful in giving us all kinds of information to experience the city. In the structure, we found the refrigerator and pantry full of many things for our stay there: assorted yogurts, various types of milk, coffee, jams, butter, cookies, snacks, toast, water at will... in short, we felt at home! Clean structure with towel change included. Highly recommended.

We were three in one room. The operator, Mariano, is very helpful. One of our luggage was unfortunately a bit torn. He helped us repair the luggage. He really makes an effort to keep the accommodation clean and tidy. He cleans the accommodation himself every day and doesn't make us wash the dishes. On the first day, he gave us information and some important tips about attractions in Florence. The accommodation is quite central. Coop supermarket is almost directly behind the accommodation, behind the bakery. Unfortunately, at our current accommodation in Bologna, the operator is not as nice and helpful as Mariano. So... this accommodation is recommended.

Excellent welcome from Mariano, very accommodating (we were able to drop off our luggage in the morning). Very good tips for visiting Florence, Mariano is very helpful. At breakfast, we learned how to make good Italian coffee. Perhaps we would have liked to have a breakfast with fresh bread and fruit to accompany this good coffee. Thank you, it was a nice experience, we recommend.

Mariano is the nicest host you could wish for. We have felt like at home. The house is very beautiful, everything is super clean and absolutely perfectly prepared. We came with our two daughters and booked two rooms for a couple of days. The location is a little outside the tourist center, which we found perfect and very pleasant. Nevertheless, you can get everywhere super on foot or by bus. On the way to the center you walk through a super shopping area with cute stores and restaurants.

Five Stars! Will recommend to friends and family! We were at Firenze for a holiday and stayed at B&B Il Tabernacolo. Our host - Mariano - has been very gracious and thoughtful. He gave us tips on which lovely places to visit, where the local market is (we love community markets because they reflect the culture of the place), where to buy bus tickets, personal items etc. Our room was so nicely done, very cute and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fridge was amazingly fully stocked with juices, yoghurt, cold water, etc and we were provided with a sweet little breakfast with freshly brewed coffee every morning. Such an enjoyable treat! The place is within walking distance from the centre, in a quiet neighborhood with lots of little shops and bars. We enjoyed strolling down the road, taking photos as we go, to remember our September - October 2023 holiday by. It was such an amazing experience to visit Firenze and it was made more lovely by our stay at B&B Il Tabernacolo. Thank you, Mariano, for making our stay enjoyable.

I highly recommend the stay, very close to the bus stop, bakery, supermarket. Clean and well-organized place, very good breakfast with a variety of drink and food options, plus the possibility to use the kitchen during the day if you want to prepare something. Mariano was spectacular, he explained in detail how to get to the main tourist spots and always quickly answered all questions asked via WhatsApp. I would certainly stay again.

My boyfriend and I stayed for just one night and we had a great time! The owner was very kind and helpful, as soon as we arrived he showed us everything we needed to know and gave us many useful tips on what to do and see in Florence. The location is not very central, it's about a half hour walk so it's a bit inconvenient in the evening, but otherwise it's easily accessible. The host is very kind, considerate, and absolutely unobtrusive. The breakfast is suitable for the location and type of accommodation. Most highlights are reachable on foot in under 40 minutes. You walk a bit to the old town. But that's why you're not right in it. Everything was very clean and you immediately felt comfortable. We would definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay in Florence, 30 minutes walk to the city center, however, there’s a bus station pretty close that can take you as well in 15 minutes. A really clean room, with the possibility to wash clothes and with air conditioning. A really nice and helpful host, we got a lot of good information from him. About 30 min walk from the city center, with several buses going from there. A lovely place to live in Florence.

The B&B Il Tabernacolo is cozy and central. Comfortable room with a bathroom. The host Mariano is charming, he was very attentive to us and suggested places to visit and where to eat. Highly recommended if you are visiting Florence.

I have not been a guest at the property, but my Argentine cousins who were very satisfied with the welcome, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the support provided. Although it is not very close to the center of Florence, it is still easily accessible by public transport. If I happen to come to Florence, I think it will be my first option for accommodation.

From the moment you enter the property, you can perceive the care with which everything is managed. The order and cleanliness are accompanied by the utmost availability of the owner Mariano. It was a very pleasant stay.

B&B Il Tabernacolo is meticulously maintained by the owner who rigorously cleans the rooms and kitchen daily. The property is quite close to the center (30 minutes on foot), downstairs there is a Coop and a take-away pizzeria 100 meters away. Also well served by public transport (bus stop 3/5 minutes on foot). Owner Mariano is a special person: careful guest reception and dedication to work are two of the qualities that distinguish him. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend a holiday in Florence in a place where the value of genuine hospitality is certainly of excellent quality.

Mariano has been very kind since the first contact, a splendid, helpful and polite person. The B&B Il Tabernacolo is located a few steps from the center of Florence, in a very quiet area and also served with the essentials, the rooms are very clean and also very elegant. We will definitely come back, we had a very good stay and despite having 2 hours of sleep on our shoulders, Mariano immediately made the room ready for us, absolutely nothing to say, highly recommended!

I had a great stay at B&B Il Tabernacolo. The quality/price of this B&B makes it very competitive compared to other places in Florence. The room was perfectly clean and tidy, Mariano was extremely kind and helpful - he really cares about his guests, which is definitely a big plus. The B&B is located just a little bit outside the city center, I used the city bikes and I had no problem moving quickly through the city, also at night. I had a great stand and I'd go back there when visiting Florence again. So I totally recommend it. I have only one comment/advise left, the breakfast is nice but it'd be nice if it was more diverse, I would have liked maybe some fruit and the possibility to make a toast.

Mariano is wonderful. The B&B Il Tabernacolo is well kept. The breakfast is abundant and varied, with gluten-free and lactose-free options. The only "bad" thing is that the bed was very uncomfortable, the springs were sticking. The room was good but the noises from the street and the next room were too loud.

I am already looking forward to another visit to the B&B Il Tabernacolo and the city of Florence. Mariano was a superb host - telling us about his wonderful home, the city and tips on how to get around. The coffee was fantastic and the pastries were a nice light way to start the day. The B&B is not in the heart of the city but literally a straight 30-minute walk will get you to the Academia Gallery to see David or the Duomo. The room and bathroom were modern and clean. Be aware you do have to climb a couple of staircases to get to the rooms but thankfully they are not spiral! There is also excellent wifi and A/C in the room and a TV - but we were too tired to watch it!

Probably the most friendly host we have ever met, and we have traveled a lot. He gave us lots of great suggestions on what to do and see in Florence. The property is a 20-30 minute walk from the city center, but there are buses that can take you there faster. It is hard to find accommodation in this price range in Florence, it was very cheap and well worth the money. The only negative we have to say is that the walls were very thin, so we could hear our neighbors. This did not bother us too much though since we did not spend too much time in our room while in Florence. \nThank you Mariano, you were the greatest host!

We stayed for 1 night. We had our car, so the location from the center wasn't a big deal for us, but it's still convenient to get to the center on foot. Very friendly host, explained everything in detail, recommended the best restaurants and everything we needed. The breakfast is simple but with all the essentials. There is also a kitchen available. Nearby there is a nice coffee shop/pastry shop and pizzerias. For our purposes, it was the perfect place. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. There is also a washing machine with dryer if needed. The price is one of the best in the city.

Impossible best host, the building is old and not centrally located but by bus it's very easy. Impeccably clean. Excellent value for money. Mariano makes everything easy for you, explains everything to you, and is there for anything you need. Thank you.

A very spacious and clean room, a copious sweet breakfast; the host Mariano is very kind, available, helpful (cleaning is done every day, bring new bottles of water each day, he makes sure there are no mosquitoes in the room...) and gives good advices to visit the city. The city center is quickly accessible by bus. We will come back, highly recommend this B&B which has a very good quality price ratio.

A wonderful place to stay at! The room was big enough, as was the bathroom. Charming host Mariano not only keeps everything spotlessly clean, but also provides valuable information on which places to visit and where to find the best quality food. Staying here is like staying with family! The only minor issue here is the parking situation, it can be difficult to find a parking space, although we were very lucky upon arrival to find a free space directly in front of the B&B. We will return here when we visit Florence next time, that's for sure!

Highly recommended accommodation especially for the professionalism and courtesy shown by Mariano who immediately endeavored to give us very useful advice on things to do/see, where to eat and how to move around on foot or by public transport, plus the cleanliness of the room is excellent.

The structure is located in an ancient building about 15 minutes away from Campo di Marte station, in a secondary street that ensures silence and tranquility, without sacrificing proximity to bars, restaurants, tobacco shops, and grocery stores. In the street there is a sacred icon from which the structure takes its name. Getting to the center is very easy (the road is always straight) on foot, although a bit long (about 30 minutes), by bike it takes about half the time, taking advantage of the city's rental service bikes, easily available everywhere, also near the B&B. The room is exactly as described on the website, equipped with everything you need, the room temperature is adjustable and very clean. The external bathroom is a bit inconvenient, as you have to cross the entire common hallway to reach it. In general, the spaces outside the room are a bit limited, probably converted from an apartment. Excellent value for money. The manager is very friendly and helpful, prepares breakfast, cleans the rooms, and provides useful information about the city and how to reach places of interest. Recommended, in my opinion, for short stays and always on the go for sightseeing.

In this B&B we had a great experience: the room was very clean, spacious, and very airy. The bathroom in the room was a bit small but satisfactory in terms of cleanliness and amenities. The shared kitchen, available to guests, is the small room where you can have breakfast and is equipped with a fridge, stove, and microwave. In the morning, you will be greeted with steaming coffee from the moka pot or hot water for a nice tea, as well as cookies and packaged products to start the day! The location is also convenient: the city center (about 3-4 km from Santa Maria del Fiore) can be reached either by a pleasant half-hour walk or by public transport (there are several stops near the property). The property is in a nice residential area, on a quiet street with some useful shops. We really appreciated our host Mariano: very kind from the first information requests during the booking phase, later he proved to be very attentive to our stay! He sent us very detailed information to reach the property, so we wouldn't get lost among the various bus lines, and welcomed us with sympathy and warmth, recommending less touristy but definitely more charming attractions to discover some hidden gems of Florence: we thank him so much for welcoming us warmly! In conclusion, the B&B Il Tabernacolo is a place where you can almost feel at home, with excellent cleanliness and an excellent value for money!

Mariano is a very nice host and very proud of his property. Everything is very nice there and very clean. He takes good care of the rooms and keeps the kitchen clean. Breakfast has all the nice things with milk and yogurt in the fridge, as well as many small delicious cupcakes and tarts. The building is a little bit far from the city center (1.5km) but that is definitely not a problem since Mariano will give you great directions to reach everything. If you prefer not to walk (as I did), bus stops are very close to the building and with a 1.5 Euros ticket, you can reach in just 10 minutes everything in the center of Florence. For the price, everything was more than extraordinary! Hope one day I can visit Florence once again!

Very well located, it is worth noting the kindness and excellent availability of Mariano, in addition to his excellent advice on places and dining. The only downside, clearly indicated since the booking, is the lack of an elevator, but Mariano takes care of the luggage, so if there are no significant mobility issues, the accommodation is very good.

What a fantastic way to experience Florence! The location is very close to the main sites such as the Duomo and Piazza Della Signorina (~20min) and also to shops and restaurants. The host was very friendly and accommodating, the room we stayed in was very very clean with a very powerful A/C. The bathroom was very clean as well. Breakfast was provided as pastries and coffee (many other breakfast options nearby). We will definitely be staying here again because it was a perfect way to feel like we were living in the city. The host also gave us many suggestions on what to do and see to truly experience Florence. He was also available via WhatsApp for any questions we had during our stay such as restaurant suggestions, etc. Also, don't forget to try the restaurants near the B&B!

The location is excellent, being inside Florence just a few kilometers from all the tourist sites. It is a very well-maintained old building with impeccable cleanliness. Mr. Mariano offers a very kind treatment and helps tourists with great advice, asking for more is impossible.

We stayed in a triple bedroom for a week and we have no complaints at all. The host, Mariano, was very kind to us and always ready to help in case of need. The cleaning service, they he also carried himself, was impeccable. We are so grateful and surely will be coming soon.

Although I stayed only one night and had never been there before, I immediately felt at home. From the first contacts, I could see the availability and kindness of the manager, so I was sure that the environment would be clean and comfortable like him. The owner is a very nice and warm person. He runs his business with great commitment. The room was very clean. Comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked very effectively. Convenient location for people who come to Florence by car. Some inconvenience of the triple room was the bathroom outside the room (although private) - this information was given in the description. Besides, this room was separated from the neighboring room only by a door (locked, of course). In the room you can hear the neighbors' conversations and the TV. Luckily for us, two ladies who lived next door were very quiet. All in all we liked the room very much. Next time we visit Florence we will definitely check if Mr. Mariano has a free room for us.

Mariano was an amazing host, from the moment before I arrive to my departure, providing me information about the city - Florence and my next stop Rome. Always polite and helpful. The place was clean and in a good location, around 10-15 minutes walking distance from the station (Campo di Marte) and +/- 20 minutes from the center. My only issue was the bed, a bit hard for me, but I definitely recommend the place, and would book again on my next trip to Florence.

Breakfast well stocked with everything necessary but only packaged pastries. Not too far from the center, which is reachable in half an hour on foot. Only downside, perhaps it would be useful to have a sign at the entrance of the building, otherwise I would gladly return.

The owner very attentive at all times, advising on what to visit and how to do it, even offered me a bus ticket if I couldn't buy it. I would come back to this place.

I chose this property for the many positive reviews that are mainly directed towards the owner, a very kind and helpful person, I confirm. The distance from the station is not so irrelevant and it is not conceivable to arrive or return on foot especially if you have even minimal luggage. During the stay, I recommend using public transport which is convenient (unless you arrive by car), while to go to the station, leave with plenty of lead time. However, I would like to draw attention and express my opinion, entirely personal more than anything else on the room which is what really matters for an informed choice. The building itself has a certain charm, annihilated by an internal renovation that leaves something to be desired. My room overlooked the street which is quite busy and noisy with windows without double glazing. It is also correct to know that there are two flights of stairs without an elevator. As for the bathroom, there is a rather noisy water supply system for the toilet that activates even when the bathroom is not in use or when you are in the shower and sometimes even at night while you sleep. It's quite annoying. The bed pillows are very uncomfortable and the mattress is old. It would take little to make this room much more pleasant. The air conditioning at least works well and the cleaning is thorough. The biggest disappointment is the breakfast, with packaged croissants in plastic and not even a placemat on the table to place things.

B&B in a historic building with original wooden floors and doors. Mariano is very helpful and attentive to cleanliness. The only flaw is that it is not located along the tram route, so it is only reachable by bus.

As soon as we arrived, Mariano welcomed us, a very kind, courteous and polite man. He kindly took my suitcase up the stairs due to its excessive weight (the structure does not have an elevator). During the journey, the suitcase gave me problems, the owner even managed to fix it and make it better than when I bought it. Once we arrived in the apartment, he showed us the room, the kitchen which is shared with other people, equipped with all the essentials, you can also use the fridge/freezer. In that area, breakfast is also included in the price and includes various packaged snacks and toast, yogurt, milk, coffee, jams, and butter. In the morning, everything will already be set up and will happen autonomously. Then he informed us that we had ended up in the only room where the bathroom was not inside, but was located in the corridor next to the entrance door. This was the only negative point due to the lack of practicality. It is provided with the necessary, functional, but a bit “old”... even compared to the bathrooms of the other rooms, the standard is lower. After the tour, he kindly filled us with advice on where to go and what to do in Florence and also me and my boyfriend, we also had a very nice zodiac analysis. The area is quite central, nothing is too far away, but it is true that in summer and on foot it was a bit tiring. Perfect area for those who are there, like us, for a concert. What can I say? We were sorry to have to leave and say goodbye to Mr. Mariano, but we are sure we will come back.

Wonderful welcome from Mariano (the owner). They should all be like him: welcoming, helpful, and very kind. Rooms are ALWAYS clean, with the possibility to use part of the fridge. Perfect location, 15 minutes walk from the stadium, 10 minutes walk from the Firenze Campo di Marte station, and 2 minutes away there are also buses to the city center. I will definitely come back for other stays.

We stayed only one night at B&B Il Tabernacolo but we would have gladly stayed longer. Very well-kept environment, you can really feel the passion and dedication of the owner and manager. Very spacious room with all the comforts, very clean and despite the not very new structure we noticed that there was no mold or cracks in any corner. Absolutely strategic position to reach the center of Florence. Absolutely recommended.

Mariano, the owner, is a very welcoming and warm person. At check-in, he recommended the must-see places in Florence and restaurants both near the B&B and in the city center itself. Spacious room with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The city area is busy but in the room, there are no particular noises, allowing for a peaceful rest. Simple breakfast but in a room equipped with a stove, fridge, and microwave oven. Definitely recommended.

I stayed 2 nights, B&B Il Tabernacolo is really comfortable just 15 minutes walk from the center of Florence, well-kept, clean and tidy. Mariano, the manager, is very kind and discreet, he gave me full availability and lots of information and advice on Florence and where to eat. Excellent experience.

The room was clean and tidy. We have a private bathroom which is also very comfortable. There is a cozy kitchen where you can have breakfast or cook your own meal. They offer a small breakfast with bread, sweets, and coffee. The store is very close, if you want you can buy small additional items for yourself in 3-4 minutes. We just bought Philadelphia cheese and added it to Mariano's menu and ate it for 3 days :D Mariona is a very kind host. He tried his best to help us find good restaurants and the best transportation options. We stayed for 2 nights as a couple and we liked it!

B&B carino e confortevole, posto in una zona di Firenze a 5 minuti di macchina da viste mozzafiato sulla città e abbastanza vicina al centro storico. Il servizio è la struttura vale tutto il costo richiesto. Anzi il rapporto è + favorevole alla qualità rispetto al prezzo. Sulla colazione evito giudizio approfondito perché da buon nordico sono più verso il salato, ma per chi ama il dolce non manca nulla. Di Mariano, il gestore, posso solo dire che una chiacchierata con lui vale, quasi da sola, la visita a Firenze. Per me è da non perdere.

Nulla da dire! La camera molto accogliente e, soprattutto, pulitissima. Mariano è stato alla mano e molto disponibile. Anche la signora che si occupava della pulizia delle camere (purtroppo non ho capito il suo nome) è stata davvero carinissima. Peccato essere rimasti una sola notte!

Il proprietario è una persona gentile e disponibile che ci ha dato molti utili consigli per sfruttare al meglio il poco tempo che avevamo per visitare la città. Struttura a due passi dai principali servizi. Super raccomandato.

El alojamiento está muy bien calidad/precio. En la calle principal hay bastante ruido temprano por la mañana, nada que no solucionen unos buenos tapones. Mariano es encantador y te ofrece toda la ayuda necesaria, para que tu estancia sea lo más cómoda posible.

Struttura molto vicina alla Stazione di Campo di Marte (ben servita dall'alta velocità), si trova a pochi minuti di autobus dal centro città. La palazzina e l'appartamento in cui sono presenti le camere sono tenuti benissimo, e le camere sono molto spaziose, pulite e ben curate. Il proprietario, Mariano, è gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Tornerò sicuramente per il prossimo viaggio a Firenze.
