Description
The Bed and Breakfast Il Corso is located in the heart of the historic center of the city of Siena, just a few steps from Piazza del Campo, on the first floor of a beautiful sixteenth-century building. All the apartments were completely renovated in 2012, with a high-level restructuring and valuable materials.
The six spacious and bright rooms are all equipped with air conditioning, TV, wireless internet, private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Guests also have access to a free internet point in the common room.
Breakfast is served in an elegant dining room or, alternatively, on beautiful days, on a charming terrace overlooking the main street of Siena.

Everything is perfect. Reception, location, cleanliness and comfort. The only problem is the quality of the breakfast, which is not provided by the owner but by an establishment whose reception and product quality are mediocre.

The location of the B&B was great: you walk outside the door and are directly in the historic center next to Il Campo. We had a small room (12 sqm) on the patio, so it was still quiet. The ceilings of the room are really beautiful, the room was just a little small (difficult to find a place for your suitcases) and we were missing a shower shelf without holes because our stuff fell through it. The owner was really nice and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and he came by and explained everything to us. He also has a lot of nice tips for the city and helped us to organize a taxi on New Year's Eve. As we were a little cold on the first night because the blankets were thin, we got thicker ones the next day. Communication was pretty easy! Breakfast is next to the hotel in a cafe, you get a coffee, juice, and croissant which was delicious, just a bit too little for us, as we are used to eating more for breakfast. We really enjoyed the stay and this beautiful place.

B&B Il Corso is pleasant and clean, with friendly staff. The location is outstanding except for the noise. Staff member Natalia in particular stands out not only for her thorough cleaning but also for going out of her way to find us a taxi on the Sunday we were leaving--Sundays are particularly difficult because many drivers take the day off. My "Junior suite" was good and clean, but overlooked a very busy and popular street. Despite shutters and drapes, outside parties kept me awake all three nights of our stay. Pietro, who checked us in, was helpful and managed to secure us restaurant reservations for busy evenings. Breakfast is served in a nearby café and bakery with great coffee and delicious pastries.

Thanks for the review, The windows of the rooms are soundproofed, obviously we are in the main street and as you say in the center and a few steps from every important city attraction. If you kept the windows or the terrace open as I had explained to you at check-in, some noise is inevitable. This is a very well-maintained and well-kept property, the room not only has soaps and towels, but also slippers, cotton wool, shampoo, shower caps, and a wall-mounted hairdryer. The room we had (Vipera) was spacious enough for two people and equipped with soundproof windows, very useful given the central location of the B&B! The breakfast is excellent, although with limited choice, and above all it remains available to customers all day long.
