The owners of I Cappuccini, Nando and Gina Bianchini, who live on the property, offer furnished two- and three-bedroom apartments, with fully equipped kitchens, TV, WiFi, independent heating, as well as a private garden for moments of relaxing tranquility. You will never feel neglected during your stay at I Cappuccini, which is open throughout the year.

Just outside the 14th century town walls, I Cappuccini is the perfect base for exploring Tuscany and Umbria., while at the same time giving you an opportunity to enjoy moments of total relaxation and genuine hospitality in an ideal setting.

Lucignano is a small hill town in the Val di Chiana, one of the most fertile, extensive and beautiful valleys in Tuscany. The town is a fascinating example of medieval urban architecture with its eliptical form made up of concentric rings that encircle the highest point of the town and extend to the 14th century walls. The Touring Club Italiano awarded Lucignano the much sought after “bandiera arancione” in recognition of its perfect combination of tranquility, hospitality and historical authenticity.

Ideal for getting around everywhere in the area. Sufficient structure without pretensions. A bit difficult to wash due to the little water that comes out of the taps. Honest price, although I paid more than what was indicated in the booking.

The structure is very nice and functional. It is located on the outskirts of Lucignano, which can be easily reached on foot. The village of Lucignano is wonderful with many little places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The garden is large and well-kept with various plants that provide shade; there are sun loungers for sunbathing and resting; tables and chairs for having breakfast or dinners outdoors. There is a lot of peace and the breeze refreshes the hot days. Mr. and Mrs. Bianchini are very kind and discreet, they are always available for any need. We will definitely come back, we had a really good time.

A basic breakfast is supplied in the apartment's own kitchen by means of rolls, jam, cakes, but each accommodation is an apartment with its own cooking facilities, so it is up to you whether you cook or not in the well-equipped kitchen. It's more self-catering than a traditional B&B. I can't rate I Cappuccini highly enough. Excellent value for money. My husband and I always stay here when visiting Lucignano. There is plenty of parking as opposed to being within the town walls. It is a short walk to the town with spectacular views.

Booked the day before arrival and we were placed in the only available apartment on the first floor (already booked but canceled at the last minute), which is not the nicest in the property (I checked the others, located on the ground floor, they are very nice, new, tastefully furnished with direct access to the equipped garden): very large (2 double bedrooms, one single, bathroom, kitchen/dining room, large living room with huge fireplace) but a bit old-fashioned! The owners are very kind and attentive! The breakfast leaves something to be desired (prepackaged snacks and rusks with jams; in the fridge milk, juices and a coffee jar with the moka available). See you next time in the beautiful apartments!

I stayed at I Cappuccini with my wife. We were both satisfied with both the location of the property and the property itself. The hosts were fantastic in suggesting both what to visit and where to eat without spending a fortune. I hope to return soon to revisit Lucignano, where there are always attractions for tourists every week (during our stay there was the Lucignano hunters' festival with wild boar and more, fantastic).

The location of I Cappuccini Appartamenti in Villa con Parco is optimal, just outside the town therefore in a quiet area. The problem was perceiving at various times of the day (after lunch) but also at night (12:00 and 1:30) various noises and thuds coming from unknown sources (perhaps from above where the owners live or from the adjacent apartment). This caused us some trouble for rest after lunch and at night. In other bed and breakfasts (mini-apartments) where I have been, daily cleaning and bed making were also included, which was not the case here. All in all, however, the location of the place and the presence of a beautiful garden equipped with hammocks and deck chairs made the stay pleasant despite some minor annoyances mentioned.

Two days immersed in the countryside. The main structure was already occupied and they moved us to the decentralized one but we had a great time. Silence, greenery, and the stars. Less than 2 km from the town. The managers are very helpful and friendly. Recommended for those who want to unwind.
