PRO: Great location, 5 minute walk from Uffizi, spacious room and nice breakfast buffet. My main CON is that I was (forcibly and without notice) charged in my currency instead of given the option to use local currency. I was told "the machine does that automatically," which is not supposed to happen and did not happen for any other transaction when I was in Europe. This method causes us as customers to pay a higher amount that we agreed because of unfair exchange rates. Insist *BEFORE YOU PAY* to use the local currency when you pay with a credit card, otherwise you will be charged a higher amount than you agreed.

Very good statement. Location is perfect. Very clean and beds are comfortable. Very nice and helpful hotel service. Great idea with having water available all day. Breakfast is typically Italian, good but could include more items like vegetables. Thank you.

Stayed for two nights with family and two kids. Amazing location, all attractions very walkable except the train station, which is also a 15-minute walk. The room was spacious and colorful. As the price is also high, the only feedback is to include breakfast at this price. Thanks.

We really liked the room, very traditional and atmospheric. The check-in was very easy and welcoming. Great area in a fantastic square, well located for the main sights, shopping, and the river. The price was high compared to other Italian cities, but this seemed typical of all the accommodation in the center of Florence, so we weren't dissatisfied.

I stayed at this B&B from the nights of the 21st to the 24th of October 2023, in the deluxe room, being in Florence for work and tourism. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, with careful cleaning. The location is excellent, a few steps from the main monuments and in the heart of historic Florence. I recommend going to see in the church in front, in the chapel on the right where they make the nativity scene. There is a Madonna in baroque style of unique beauty. The breakfast offer is also excellent and varied, with alternatives for those, like me, who need gluten-free options. The staff is serious, helpful, and professional. Highly recommended.

Daniel, the host was very nice but we wish he had been informed about the marathon. In fact, we had to leave our room three hours earlier than expected. The breakfast was of poor quality. The bathroom toilet did not flush properly and the bath towels were thin. The room overlooks the square and was extremely noisy at night, and the air-conditioning did not adequately cool the room. I could not say I would recommend this to a family member. The staircase was dark and scary, and at least one flight of stairs had to be taken as the elevator did not go to the ground floor. If you have any mobility issues, do not stay here.
