Description

The Bed and Breakfast La Piazza is the result of the recent renovation of a villa dating back to 1858, owned by the Banchi family.

Our establishment is located at Piazza Dalmazia n 1 in Florence and is situated in a strategic point of the city.

The Rifredi district (quartiere 5) is a natural shopping center, where you can indulge in shopping at one of the numerous stores in the neighborhood. You can also enjoy a quality movie at one of the two theaters at Cinema Flora (the first cinema in Florence, established in 1914) or attend a show at the historic theater in Rifredi. Additionally, you can have an aperitif at Café de Paris, dine at one of the various restaurants or pizzerias in the neighborhood.

The Bed & Breakfast La Piazza is only 15 minutes away from Amerigo Vespucci Airport (A1 Highway), Santa Maria Novella train station, and the exhibition center of Fortezza da Basso (city center). It is also very close to the train station of Florence Rifredi, and the university campus in the Novoli district is just a 9-minute walk away.

Furthermore, the B&B La Piazza is in close proximity to the largest hospital complex in Tuscany (Careggi Hospital, Pediatric Hospital Meyer, Monna Tessa), which can be reached in just 5 minutes by bus. The bus stop is conveniently located right below the B&B. If you arrive by car, our bed and breakfast offers excellent parking facilities in the immediate vicinity.

we have renovated our 1958's little villa transformining it in a B&B sites in a natural commercial semi central area in Florence.

Our structure seats in Piazza Dalmazia n. 1 in Florence,
in a strategic position in town.
The Rifredi area (5) is a natural commercial centre. ,
you will enjoy your shopping in one of the several shops
in the quarter, you can go to the Cine Hall Flora

Taste an aperitivo and appetizers at the Café de Paris or
eat in one of the several restaurants or pizzerie present

I felt very good during my days of stay in Florence. The proximity of the B&B to 2 tram stops and 10 minutes from the station-city center is very positive. The structure is very new and I found the room very clean and well furnished. Although breakfast was not included, there are several cafés and pastry shops nearby, within a 5-minute walk. I appreciated the courtesy of the owners both in the phase prior to the stay and during the stay itself.

The structure is very clean and equipped with all comforts. The manager, Roberto, is a cordial and kind person, available to provide all the requested information. The structure is not in a central position, but it is connected to the center by a tram that passes right in the square where it is located and takes you to the heart of Florence in 10/15 minutes. The room and the bathroom inside it were really very clean. The heating was working well. Highly recommended.

The room is beautiful, spacious, and very clean. I requested and was given a kettle, which I think is essential to include since breakfast is not provided. The location is enviable even though the area seems to be a bit abandoned. The only major drawback: you can hear the echoing voices from the nearby cinema. Perhaps the volume should be lowered a bit and better sound insulation could be done. Overall, I would return.

New and clean B&B, spacious bathroom. Located in front of the tram stop T1.3 which takes you to Santa Maria Novella Station in 10-15 minutes. It's a pity that breakfast is not included, it would have been a plus. There are still bars, restaurants, and supermarkets just a few steps away.

Spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished rooms. Special mention to the comfortable bed and bathroom, equipped with all services. The city center is easily reachable by tram in about ten minutes, and the stop is located right under the property. The only downside: on weekends, the square facing the property is lively and a bit noisy until late, but this is a very common aspect in B&Bs/guesthouses in large cities. The owners are very friendly and affable; in the morning, they offered us coffee and engaged in a pleasant conversation with us. Absolutely recommended, we will return!

We stayed for two nights and we had a very good time. Everything as expected from the announcement, the hosts were really welcoming and the room was clean and tidy. Although it was a bit outside the center, the neighborhood was very quiet and the tram passed right by so in 10 minutes you can easily get to and from the center. If I have to find a small precaution, the front door made a bit of noise, so maybe if you come back late you risk disturbing the other rooms entering and exiting, but otherwise everything was perfect!

Comfortable structure to visit Florence. The tram stops right under the structure and in 10 minutes you are in the city center. For breakfast nearby there are quality bars and pastry shops, as well as a supermarket. A bit difficult for parking, but if you are lucky you can find it nearby. I stayed at B&B La Piazza a couple of times for study purposes. Very nice place, clean and cozy room. Close to the tram stop and very close to the university, which is easily reachable even on foot. It takes a little longer to get to the city center, but it is well connected. The managers were very helpful and kind, even when I had some unexpected events! Breakfast not provided, but I still found something to drink and eat in the room! Recommended!

I went to Florence for the Korean Film Fest and, before being there, I was searching online desperately for a place to stay because all the bed and breakfasts were full or too expensive for what they offered. I thank Google for helping me discover B&B La Piazza! It was a great choice: only 10 minutes by tram (plus a few minutes on foot) from the center of Florence, the tram station is right under the b&b; there are supermarkets and many multicultural restaurants near the property, a little market in the square, a fountain to fill water bottles. Not only is it convenient but also quiet at all hours - I often returned late at night and always walked serenely. In short, although the b&b is not actually in the center, it is very convenient and the square where it is located is quiet and inhabited by respectable people - if you want to reach the center, just take the tram for 1.50€.

Optimal location of the property and it is located in a very quiet area of Florence. There are bars, pastry shops, and other very comfortable and useful places all around B&B La Piazza where the b&b is located. The tram stop is right next to it and in 15 minutes by tram you arrive at Santa Maria Novella Station. A 10 wouldn't be enough for the owners, extremely kind and helpful. I accidentally sprained my ankle and they helped me in every way, even taking the breakfast to go and bringing it to my room (when it wouldn't be included in the stay). Large and very clean room. The bathroom is very large and beautiful. Equipped with a hairdryer, towels, toiletry set, and welcome kit. Two days, despite my little accident, spent in an excellent b&b (found a bit by chance but it was lucky). FANTASTIC quality-price ratio. I will gladly return.

I was pleasantly impressed by the furnishings, cleanliness, the very courteous and friendly managers' welcome, and the strategic location of the structure. The only downside, if I really have to find one, is that the room did not have an external view. My son and I stayed two days at 'B&B La Piazza', we had a great time. The owners are very kind and helpful. The facility is new and very clean. We will definitely return there on our next trip to Florence.

B&B La Piazza near public facilities, well-structured and newly furnished. Located on one floor of a building with a helpful owner. It's a shame that breakfast couldn't be enjoyed during this period.

I really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, impeccable! The room was cleaned every morning. Fragrant sheets (this is not at all obvious!). The owners were very kind and helpful. The location is great, as it is just a few steps from the Tram T1 stop. I was truly satisfied with my choice.

Great facility with very beautiful and well-organized rooms. Excellent cleanliness and abundant and varied breakfast. It is very close to the tram stop that allows you to reach the heart of Florence in 10 minutes. Roberto, the manager, is a friendly person and very helpful for every need. My family and I really enjoyed it. We hope to be able to come back one day.

I had a really good time, thanks to Roberto and Barbara who were very kind and helpful in welcoming me, meeting my special check-in and check-out needs. The structure is very close to the Meyer Pediatric Hospital, easily reachable by bus in a few minutes. There are dining options and shops nearby. The only limitation: the architectural barrier, the long staircase is a bit tiring to do with the trolley.

B&B La Piazza is truly beautiful and comfortable. The rooms are well-furnished and very neat and clean. The manager is extremely helpful and kind. Common areas are tastefully decorated; view of Piazza Dalmazia that is truly charming. Abundant and delicious breakfast, with fresh pastries and much more. To be praised is the attention to the customer, which is also found in many small attentions. I will definitely keep it as my first choice for my stays in Florence!

This Bed and Breakfast is truly exceptional, in a great location both to reach the city center or the station by public transport or on foot the hospital with a pleasant 10/15 minutes walk. It overlooks a lovely tree-lined square, below the house there are a cinema, an elegant café concert, shops and excellent restaurants and pizzerias. The environment is very clean and well-maintained, brand new, with well-furnished rooms, spacious bathroom and every comfort. Very kind owner, excellent breakfast, highly recommended to everyone!

Overlooking a beautiful tree-lined square is the B&B La Piazza. The rooms are spacious, recently renovated in a pleasant way. Well-furnished bathroom. Impeccable cleanliness. The managers are extremely friendly and courteous. Italian breakfast with good pastries. A fully satisfying experience for those, like us, looking for a more familiar and convivial atmosphere compared to the classic hotel.
