Dolce Sosta ascends from the total renovation of a typical 50’s Tuscan villa. Given the Villa’s location it remains a strategic point of reference for the many pilgrims along the historical Via Francigena. Easily reached by plane for those arriving in Pisa or Florence or for those arriving by train or by car.
Situated in a quiet district on the outskirts of Lucca the villa is surrounded by green space offering guests a tranquil repose. In a short distance of 3 km brings you to the historic city walls of Lucca, along this route you travel past local shops, bars and historic sites. Dolce Sosta is well served by public transport with a bus stop to and from the historical center of Lucca only at 100m from your doorstep.
The Villa offers affordable luxury and privacy to world travellers with a choice of 5 large rooms, each with a private bathroom, tv and free wi-fi. Guests can gather in the comfortable living room. Gated private parking is located on site.
Exclusively for our guests, we organize special excursions thanks to our hiking guide Stefano. He organizes trekking and cycling tours; tours aboard the minivan in sea and mountain areas but also culinary excursios for who want to combine the visit of the historical city with the Tuscan territory as well.
Dolce Sosta is in close proximity to several historical cities and Mediterranean beaches. By car you can reach Pisa or Versilia in 20 minutes and Florence in 40 minutes.

Cozy structure, in a quiet area not too far from the center of Lucca. Pleasant and clean room. The manager was friendly and helpful. \nI would definitely recommend it for a stay in Lucca.

A well-kept structure with love, although it would be advisable to improve the breakfast offering by including yogurt and butter, in addition to only one jam. It was probably just an oversight.

We loves our stay at this property. Stefano and his family are delightful, rooms are a good size, so we were very comfortable. breakfast was abundant and Stefano’s own honey is the best. We would have bought a box full if Australia allowed us to bring in. Lucca is a beautiful town to visit. Do not hesitate to book this B&B. Thank you very much Stefano.

A small oasis a stone's throw from the center of Lucca. We stayed during the fair, and we had a great time. A quiet, peaceful place, surrounded by greenery and far from the city chaos: the ideal place for those who want to enjoy a relaxing stay.

Très bon B&B, avec un jardin agréable, des chambres spacieuses et bien équipées (sèche-cheveux, ventilateur, tv). Propriétaires très accueillants et prêts à rendre service. A 3 minutes du centre de Lucca, avec accès facile par la route (et éventuellement le bus, que nous n'avons pas testé). Petit-déjeuner copieux en libre-service (viennoiseries, gâteaux maison, tartines, jus de fruits, yaourts).
Très belle région évidemment, avec beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire.

Ottimo bed and breakfast. Pulizia e confort ineccepibili. Le stanze molto spaziose e con bagno altrettanto spazioso. Eccezionali la disponibilità e gentilezza della giovane coppia che gestisce la struttura. Posizionato un po' fuori Lucca in una zona tranquilla, ma noi ci siamo spostati facilmente per raggiungere il centro dove dovevamo assistere ad un concerto in occasione del Lucca Summer Festival. Addirittura il giorno della partenza, avendo necessità di partire alle 6:00, Stefano (titolare del B&B insieme alla moglie Maria) si è svegliato per prepararci la colazione, eccezionale.
Consiglio vivamente La Dolce Sosta a chi vuole pernottare in Lucca e dintorni.
