Description
The Ceccarini B&B is located in Piandiscò, a quiet village on a plateau (350 meters above sea level) halfway between the Upper Arno Valley and the Pratomagno mountain range.
The house is a typical countryside dwelling from the early 1900s.
Recently restored, it is surrounded by a garden with numerous flowering plants and trees, and it has a beautiful private courtyard paved with stone where you can enjoy delightful breakfasts, dinners, and lunches in tranquility.
We produce extra virgin olive oil, honey, and jams.
We speak Italian and English.
The location is very close to:
- Florence (45 km)
- Arezzo (45 km)
- Siena (50 km)
- Chianti (30 km)
In the immediate vicinity (within a 30-minute drive) you can find:
- The Birthplace of Masaccio in San Giovanni Valdarno
- The Romanesque Churches of Cascia (where the triptych of the Madonna and Child by Masaccio is preserved in the museum)
- Gropina, Lucolena, Santa Maria a Scò (Piandiscò)
- The Vallombrosa Abbey of the Vallombrosian monks
- The archaeological site of Poggio alla Regina, with the ruins of the Castello dei Conti Guidi and the fortified city
- The Prada, Dolce&Gabbana, Gucci outlets.

The B&B Ceccarini, in Piandiscò, is easily accessible.
HIGHWAY:
For those coming from the North (10 km), take the Incisa exit, then turn right.
After 500 meters, turn right and follow the signs for Piandiscò.
Once you reach the town, go halfway around the roundabout and take Via Roma, which passes to the right of the gas station.
Continue straight for about 500 meters.
On the right, you will find the B&B Ceccarini. You have arrived!
For those coming from the South (15 km), take the Valdarno exit and take the road to S. Giovanni Valdarno/Castelfranco/Piandiscò.
Follow the signs for Piandiscò, passing through Castelfranco.
Continue towards Piandiscò along the wonderful and mythical Strada Provinciale Setteponti (which connects Reggello and Arezzo in a route of over 100 km along the gentle hills overlooking the entire Valdarno).
Once you reach the town, go along Viale Marconi until you reach the roundabout, then turn left and continue along Viale Alcide de Gasperi until you reach another larger roundabout.
Go all the way around until you enter (in the opposite direction from which you came) Via Roma, which passes to the right of the gas station.
Continue straight for about 500 meters.
On the right, you will find the B&B Ceccarini. You have arrived!

Everything perfect, the owner very helpful, a pity for the great heat that made the night less pleasant, an air conditioner would have been appreciated. But this does not change the judgment, worth coming back.

Struttura molto bella, camere accoglienti sembrava di stare a casa propria, ottima accoglienza gestore cordiale e simpatico e amante degli animali, colazione fatta in casa molto buona e per le mie necessità, ciliegina sulla torta accoglie gli animali domestici di ogni taglia.

Absolutely brilliant quiet setting on lower floor in this lovely big house. Very tasteful and eclectic interior. Room was spacious with interesting furniture and fantastic period wall paintings. Host was very helpful and accommodating and gave excellent advice regarding dinner and other travelling issues. Good and varied breakfast served in the large and nicely decorated common room.
Value for money was best I have ever encountered during my many travels in Italy. I just cannot recommend this BnB well enough.

Una bella struttura Toscana arredata con gusto, ampio bagno pulitissimo e spazioso.
Ottima colazione sopratutto con torte e marmellate di loro produzione.
Ambiente tranquillo silenzioso e complimenti per la pulizia impeccabile.

Tranquillissimo B&B allocato in casa padronale d'epoca, con una esposizione di splendidi ricordi di Famiglia, l'atmosfera che si respira è veramente un piacevole ritorno al passato.
Struttura con pulizia impeccabile, letto comodo, possibilità di posteggiare all'interno del cortile, posizione in zona poco trafficata per cui il riposo è garantito.
Zona ricca di attrattive turistiche e percorsi per escursioni, Vallombrosa con abbazia e foresta, le balze di Castelfranco ecc..Arezzo e Firenze vicine.
Un ringraziamento al Sig. Luigi per la gentile accoglienza e la simpatia.
Speciali le marmellate fatte in casa, il miele e la torta.
Torneremo appena possibile.

Delizioso, prezioso piccolo B&B, perfetto per chiunque voglia scoprire il Casentino e la splendida zona della via dei Sette Ponti. È inoltre vicino ad Arezzo e Firenze, dunque ideale per visitare le città senza essere costretti a soggiornarvi. Impeccabilmente arredato con vero gusto e senza false ridondanze, offre anche uno splendido giardinetto curatissimo. Francesco, il padrone, è una persona di delicata gentilezza. Io sono stata davvero molto bene.

Siamo stati solo una notte, quindi non abbiamo potuto interagire molto con i proprietari, che però sono stati gentilissimi. Ci hanno dato consigli su cosa visitare e dove magiare.
Ottimi il miele e la marmellata di loro produzione.
Letto comodissimo e posizione molto silenziosa.
Consigliato!

Gestori veramente disponibili e cordiali. Bella palazzina indipendente e arredata con mobili d'epoca (bello il grande tavolo dello spaziosissimo soggiorno) e ricordi di famiglia. Cortile con tavolo per la colazione all'aperto e possibilità di posto macchina nel giardino retrostante. Ottima pulizia, buona la colazione con panini caldi e marmellata fatta in casa! Comoda posizione all'interno del centro abitato ma tranquilla e lontana da strade rumorose o trafficate.
