The Ceccarini B&B is located in Piandiscò, a quiet village on a plateau (350 meters above sea level) halfway between the Upper Arno Valley and the Pratomagno mountain range.
The house is a typical countryside dwelling from the early 1900s.
Recently restored, it is surrounded by a garden with numerous flowering plants and trees, and it has a beautiful private courtyard paved with stone where you can enjoy delightful breakfasts, dinners, and lunches in tranquility.
We produce extra virgin olive oil, honey, and jams.
We speak Italian and English.
The location is very close to:
- Florence (45 km)
- Arezzo (45 km)
- Siena (50 km)
- Chianti (30 km)
In the immediate vicinity (within a 30-minute drive) you can find:
- The Birthplace of Masaccio in San Giovanni Valdarno

HIGHWAY:
For those coming from the North (10 km), take the Incisa exit, then turn right.
After 500 meters, turn right and follow the signs for Piandiscò.
Once you reach the town, go halfway around the roundabout and take Via Roma, which passes to the right of the gas station.
Continue straight for about 500 meters.
On the right, you will find the B&B Ceccarini. You have arrived!
For those coming from the South (15 km), take the Valdarno exit and take the road to S. Giovanni Valdarno/Castelfranco/Piandiscò.
Follow the signs for Piandiscò, passing through Castelfranco.
Continue towards Piandiscò along the wonderful and mythical Strada Provinciale Setteponti (which connects Reggello and Arezzo in a route of over 100 km along the gentle hills overlooking the entire Valdarno).
Once you reach the town, go along Viale Marconi until you reach the roundabout, then turn left and continue along Viale Alcide de Gasperi until you reach another larger roundabout.
Go all the way around until you enter (in the opposite direction from which you came) Via Roma, which passes to the right of the gas station.

Absolutely brilliant quiet setting on the lower floor in this lovely big house. Very tasteful and eclectic interior. The room was spacious with interesting furniture and fantastic period wall paintings. The host was very helpful and accommodating and gave excellent advice regarding dinner and other traveling issues. Good and varied breakfast served in the large and nicely decorated common room.\n\nValue for money was the best I have ever encountered during my many travels in Italy. I just cannot recommend this BnB well enough.

Very peaceful B&B Ceccarini located in a historic manor house, with an exposition of splendid family memories, the atmosphere is truly a pleasant return to the past. Impeccably clean structure, comfortable bed, possibility to park inside the courtyard, located in a quiet area so rest is guaranteed. Area rich in tourist attractions and hiking trails, Vallombrosa with its abbey and forest, the cliffs of Castelfranco, etc. Arezzo and Florence nearby. A thank you to Mr. Luigi for the kind welcome and friendliness. Special homemade jams, honey, and cake. We will be back as soon as possible.

Delightful, precious little B&B, perfect for anyone looking to discover the Casentino and the beautiful area of the via dei Sette Ponti. It is also close to Arezzo and Florence, making it ideal for visiting the cities without being forced to stay there. Impeccably furnished with true taste and without false redundancies, it also offers a beautifully manicured little garden. Francesco, the owner, is a person of delicate kindness. We stayed only one night, so we could not interact much with the owners, who were very kind. They gave us advice on what to visit and where to eat. The honey and jam they produced were excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the location was very quiet. Recommended!

The managers are really helpful and friendly. Beautiful independent building furnished with period furniture. The large table in the spacious living room is nice, along with family mementos. Courtyard with a table for outdoor breakfast and the possibility of parking in the backyard garden. Excellent cleanliness, good breakfast with hot sandwiches and homemade jam! Convenient location within the town but quiet and away from noisy or busy roads.
