Description

Our residence is located within the historic walls of Lucca, near Porta San Jacopo. We chose this house for its spaciousness, independent entrance, and its layout across two levels. It also features a charming garden, perfect for enjoying moments of coolness and tranquility, adorned with a lemon tree, a couple of medlar trees, and a small herb garden with typical Mediterranean plants.

During the renovation, we aimed to preserve the essence of this home, which boasts at least 500 years of history, while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our family and guests. We offer only two rooms, located on the first floor (accessible via 18 steps), which means you will always be our privileged guests.

To ensure a peaceful and private atmosphere, we do not accept children or pets. This choice may be unpopular, but we believe it is essential.

Small "old style" B&B inside the walls, perfect for visiting Lucca while forgetting the car. Extremely kind and helpful owners: Jacopo is a real treasure, he welcomed us and advised us in the best way. Room on the 1st floor was very clean and quiet, excellent WiFi. Too bad about the breakfast, not available. In the picturesque garden at the back of the house, it would have been a delight!

We stayed at this B&B to attend a concert. It is located near a free parking area just outside the city walls and is just a few steps from the historic center, making it very convenient. The room was cozy and equipped with everything necessary. The owners are kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely 7-day stay. We selected this B&B for being slightly out of the main hub of the main area. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, especially with ordering taxis and suggesting places to go. If you want a stress-free place to stay, then this is the place. The two cats were also very welcoming.

A lovely place to stay, the Hosts are very friendly and nice, (their English is excellent), helpful and welcoming. The Italian breakfast was a great start to the day. If I am in Lucca again, I hope to stay again.
