Hey from Lorenzo

Tòsina was born out of the commitment of young volunteers from the “Perché No?” group in Borselli, with the goal of creating opportunities in an area marked by youth outmigration. The aim is to preserve the traditions, cultures, and agricultural knowledge of the Florentine Apennines, which depopulation threatens to wipe out.

Among the young people, Lorenzo is in charge of managing reservations, welcoming guests, and troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues.

The guesthouse is located in Tòsina, in the municipality of Pelago (Florence), set in the Florentine mountains just steps from the Church of Santa Margherita. A peaceful corner among woods and unspoilt nature, ideal for those seeking quiet and authenticity away from the crowds. Our location is perfect for exploring Vallombrosa Abbey, the Consuma Pass, Secchieta and the Casentino, with Florence about an hour away by car. An excellent base for hiking, trekking, cycling, and for discovering the thousand-year history of an ancient Camaldolese monastic settlement.
