It is a modernly furnished, clean accommodation. We generally felt comfortable. However, we were given a room without a window; this room is not shown in the property's promotional photos. We had a window that faced the elevator shaft, so there was no daylight and no fresh air. Also, it is advertised as "bed & breakfast", but there is no breakfast. We have experienced in Italy that fresh croissants are sometimes hung on the door each morning, but at this property there is no service at all. The room has a kettle and tea/instant coffee; a refrigerator is also available. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke good English, which was a positive.

Ci dispiace per per il problema con la finestra, ma purtroppo da qualche mese abbiamo dei lavori fermi nel condominio e siamo in attesa che li completino e tolgano l'impalcatura. NON è il vano dell'ascensore ma la camera da su una corte interna che in questo momento purtroppo è occupata per i lavori. Questo non dipende da noi. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, nella descrizione della nostra struttura è specificato che siamo un affittacamere e non un B&B e nella tariffa che hai acquistato è scritto "Colazione non prevista". Ci dispiace che ti aspettassi qualcosa di diverso in questo senso. Siamo molto felici che tu abbia apprezzato lo staff. Grazie ancora.

Cleanliness of the property and room 10/10. Camilla was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. Unfortunately, we were given a room that is not shown in the listing. The room has no natural light whatsoever. The only window looks into a completely dark inner space. When we asked if we could be moved to another room she said all other rooms were taken, but they were not. For 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed there, the other rooms were empty. Staying in a room with no natural light is very unpleasant. In addition, two days before we left the city, we asked Camilla to please reserve a taxi to take us to the main train station the morning we were leaving Florence. I reminded her the night before, and the morning we needed the taxi. The taxi never showed up. Camilla did not reply to any of my texts asking for help with the taxi situation. We were extremely stressed out that morning and we almost missed our train to the next city. We are very disappointed.

Good value for money. However, the pillows were too high and the room was humid. The hot water temperature was not satisfactory (it remained lukewarm). Overall good because it was located a few minutes from the tram and bus stops. The host was kind. Luggage storage and a guest bathroom were available.

Everything was perfect. Strategic location, close both to the Porta al Prato tram stop and to the city center, in a lovely residential neighborhood along the Arno. Courteous and immediately available hosts. Spacious, clean room with new furnishings. Therefore, a very efficient and relaxing stay.

Good location and friendly staff. There was a lot of humidity in the room. The room's window faces a courtyard full of scaffolding from construction work and air conditioning vents. The window could not be opened nor could the room be ventilated.

The room and bathroom was clean. The host were there when we arrived but may a bit hard to reach at the early morning when we planned to check out. There are no windows in the room we stay which was not I expected. Overall the experience is good.

The staff is very friendly, the structure is clean and decent. We stayed only one night, but for visiting Florence it is the best. Breakfast is not available, but there are nice cafes nearby that serve abundant and international breakfasts. We will keep it in mind for our future visits to the city.

The room and the structure are beautiful, especially clean and in an excellent location. It is written check-out by eleven but not being informed about the check-out conditions we did not know if we had to wait for someone to leave the room. Having schedules to respect, we had to go back and forth twice from the center without having either a response on the phone or indications in the structure. This was the only lack.

We arrived early and our luggage was received, the room was ready earlier as well. The person who welcomed us was kind and explained everything. I only recommend keeping the schedules in mind and communicating with them so they can arrange your arrival, as there is no 24-hour reception. The room was very clean and quiet. The area is nice, close to public transport.

From the reviews already present we expected a better environment, however: Great for location, close to the center, you can get there with a 10-minute walk along the lungarno, and close to the station - easy to reach in 10-15 minutes on foot. Good for room size, room with private bathroom and perfect size. Not enough for cleanliness and attention to detail: basic cleanliness but nothing more, definitely need to improve cleanliness in terms of dust and the shower; also, the inability to open the window made everything more unpleasant.

Convenient location, close to covered parking for a fee, near Santa Maria Novella station, a 20-minute walk from the center, just outside the restricted traffic area, economical solution (considering the average prices in Florence), but decent, in a well-maintained building, in a beautiful residential and quiet area, we got a small room with a window overlooking the staircase landing, also closed by scaffolding, therefore completely without a view, but for a few nights it's fine, the other rooms have windows facing the street and I believe they are larger (one definitely).

Small room, recently furnished and clean. Inadequate hairdryer. Major flaw, the only room among the available ones with a window facing a closed courtyard... therefore unusable. In my opinion, it would have been better to avoid renting the room. Kind and helpful managers for check-in and check-out. The city center can be reached in a few minutes on foot, quiet area, parking not far but payable.

Overall, a good option for a short stay in Florence. Perfectly connected to all the city attractions, with stops just a few steps from the property. The room is very spacious, a bit of a shame about the lighting; ours overlooked an internal service courtyard with scaffolding. The lights inside are either dim or too strong. The bathroom is very clean, the dispensers in the shower were empty but there were enough samples available. The minibar was empty, but the essentials for tea and herbal teas were provided, along with water offered for both. The bed is comfortable, the pillows could be improved. Worth noting the availability to leave luggage even in an unprepared room, and even after checking out. Therefore, a favorable value for money, recommended for a weekend in Florence.

Excellent property near Stazione Leopolda, an ideal location for us who attended the BTO event. Rooms with modern design, clean, and spacious bathroom. You will probably do a self check-in, but the managers are always available for any need, even via WhatsApp. Excellent value for money.

Good accommodation in terms of price/quality ratio, we got an internal room a bit dark but it really serves the purpose as it is just for sleeping. We spent the whole day walking around and upon arrival taking a good shower and sleeping on a good mattress was the most important thing and it worked perfectly. The room had coffee, tea, and an electric kettle, as well as two complimentary bottled waters. A bit far from the center but nothing impossible to walk. Florence is for walking! You get there quickly and without problems.

We really enjoyed our stay at Al Consolato - Guest House. The self check-in is very convenient especially when our arrival time is uncertain. The room is comfortable and the decoration is lovely. The soundproofing with other rooms is very good, we didn't hear anything. The room is located on the ground floor and the window insulation from the street noise is not very good. This is the only negative point we found. In the morning and evening, you can hear the conversations on the sidewalk and what's happening on the street. There is a small fridge in the room and a kettle, which is practical. The geographical location is good, we are about 15-20 minutes walk from the city center but about 10 minutes walk from the train station, very convenient for longer trips.

Good location near the historic district. A charming market around the corner for an espresso or coffee in the morning. Very clean. The owner worked diligently to ensure our comfort. We were disappointed with our original room which faced a back wall and felt quite claustrophobic. He moved us as soon as possible to the Home room which was much more comfortable and spacious. If staying here, we would highly recommend a little restaurant a few blocks away called Casa Ciabattini.

Value for money! Room and toilet were clean and spacious, host was welcoming and provided us all the information we needed. Bed mattress is quite thin but sufficient for a night's rest. We were slightly disappointed when our window was looking into a dim backyard and had to close the windows, instead of the brightly naturally lit room as shown in the pictures. However, not a major issue as we were out most of the time.

Super satisfied! The location is great (20 minutes walk to the city center with a beautiful walk along the Arno, 15 minutes to the train station and in 5 minutes you reach the tram stop). Excellent value for money. Room very well taken care of, clean, with all the comforts. Very nice bathroom. Only missing breakfast on site... Otherwise everything perfect! I will definitely come back.

Room furnished with modern style, very courteous staff. The building is located 10 minutes from the station and near the long Arno. Small issue with the shower selector, but nothing serious.

The host is very helpful and polite. The room is very nice and above all the bed is very comfortable. Recommended even if it's 20 minutes from the central square.
