Description

Arco Antico bed & Breakfast is located in a quiet side street, a few steps from Fortezza da Basso. Arco Antico is very close (5 minutes walking) to all the principal city's museums, churches and monuments, located in S. Lorenzo one of the most important shopping areas.

On our B&B, at third floor with elevator, the atmosphere is quiet and youthful; out bright rooms is provided of private bathroom, air conditioning and a rich buffet is served for breakfast in a a sunny room so you can feel at home and visit a beautiful city.

The main Florentine monuments, are easy to get by walking in a few minutes without using vehicles. We offered you the reservation on demand for the museum, informations for typical restaurant and interesting site.

The check-in time must be agreed by phone or e-mail at the reservation of the room.

Every guest receive a complete set of keys upon arrival so will be completely indipendent during its holiday. No curfew at night.

I loved my stay at Arco Antico and could not fault anything about it. Matteo is a very attentive and helpful person who spoke English very well, which is very helpful for me as it is the only language I speak. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, enough space to move around comfortably, including the size of the bathroom. The breakfast provided in the dining room was amazing. There were so many choices, cereals, yogurts, fresh pastries, bread, jams, eggs, fresh fruit, fruit juices, a variety of milks, some gluten-free products, and the list goes on. He also has an excellent automatic coffee machine that makes a variety of coffees by freshly grinding the coffee beans each time and is available for use whenever you please. It is only a 10-minute walk from the station and less than a 5-minute walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops. It is also within easy walking distance to all the important museums and historical sites in Florence. I would highly recommend staying here when you come to Florence.

I started my stay at this Bed and Breakfast, feeling welcome and comfortable. The place is really good, it is equipped with everything you need and it is very clean. It may not look like your typical 4-star hotel, but I guarantee it felt like one. As if the apartment wasn't good enough, the service is incredible. I honestly think my thoughts on staying in a Bed and Breakfast changed after staying here.

Let's talk about a Bed and Breakfast so not a luxury Hotel. That being said, I absolutely recommend it. The room is of good size, the bathroom may be a bit small but with a good shower (important), comfortable bed, wardrobe, and air conditioning/heating. Simple but honest breakfast. The manager is genuinely courteous and ready to help with anything if possible.

Enviable location of the Arco Antico. Mr. Matteo was professional, friendly, and very helpful. Room in my opinion a bit dated, but absolutely functional, comfortable and above all CLEAN. There is absolutely nothing missing of what you may need. I recommend this structure.

Very convenient for those arriving by train, and the center is reachable on foot in ten minutes. Also very close to the S. Lorenzo market. The manager is very kind and helpful, and the property has a good value for money. If I were to return to Florence, I would definitely want to stay here again!

For our week in Florence, perfect compromise between: proximity to Santa Maria Novella station (6 minutes walk); access to main sites on foot (10 minutes); quiet because not located right in the center, especially early in the morning when the shopkeepers set up their stalls; extreme simplicity and kindness of the owner Matteo whom we still thank for his welcome; cleanliness, breakfast, everything is great. I recommend this B&B, perfect value for money.

Initially, I chose the B&B Arco Antico for its location, but I must admit that never was a choice so right: the structure is very welcoming, clean, and quiet. My daughter and I took advantage of the Frecciarossa weekend rate and stayed one night at the Arco Antico B&B. Kindness at the time of booking for the various options I requested. We were able to leave our luggage in storage already on Saturday morning and we were able to pick it up on Sunday evening. Cleanliness in the room and in the common areas. Self-service sweet and savory breakfast. Room 5 with the possibility of an extra bed. Excellent location, two steps from Santa Maria Novella Station and in 5 minutes you are in Piazza Duomo to start the visit of this beautiful city.
