Ape Rosa Relais is a refined Bed and Breakfast housed in a Florentine villa from the 1700s.

The property is surrounded by a wonderful garden and offers a 100% relaxing stay in nature although being a stone's throw from the UNESCO historic center of Florence.

The villa offers guests 6 bedrooms, each with private bathroom. All the rooms are taken care of in every detail and they offer a feeling of warmth, harmony that fills anyone who stays there.

The garden offers an oasis of wellness and tranquility thanks to its meadows, roses, romantic gazebo, which together with the outdoor jacuzzi offer a relaxing and pampering bracket.

On the first floor of the villa there is a refined living room totally frescoed, which brings you back in the past centuries.

The private and safe parking inside the villa makes it ideal for those who move by car or motorcycle.

The room is not bad, but there are some things that, when examined in detail, made us lower our rating. Positives are certainly the quiet, the cleanliness and the self-entry features. We did not like the wobbly bidet, the shower and the mattress, which was too hard. The breakfast could be improved in quantity and quality. At the top of the list, even if specified, is the request for €10 to use the internal parking, which for a property like this felt like a real rip-off to me, especially because there are no alternatives for those arriving by car. I would not return.

The host of the accommodation cannot be rated. However, looking at the neglected garden, it does not make a good impression at all. It also appears that nothing is being invested in the maintenance of the building and the garden. The travel time to the tram does not correspond to the stated time span.

The space is huge and beautiful. It has a pool and lots of greenery, but we didn't use it. There were many mosquitoes, the room didn't have enough electrical outlets, the air conditioning was weak and the bed was old. The location is convenient only for those with a car. We didn't have one and there is a steep uphill to get there. There are some local shops nearby. The tram stop is a 15-minute walk. In short, it was a bad experience for us.

The property is poorly maintained, dirty, and lacking maintenance. It was the worst overnight stay I have had in many years. I slept terribly because of the heat, the mattress, and the extremely noisy and non-functioning air conditioning. Upon waking, there was no water even to brush my teeth or remove the sweat from the night. Just think, my family and I had an important appointment. I called the manager explaining that there was water on other floors but not on ours and that we needed a shower. He replied that he could do nothing for us and he did not provide us with a solution, not even a bottle of water to brush our teeth. A property to avoid.

Classic structure in an ancient Florentine villa, elegant and discreet, very clean. Very helpful manager, quiet and peaceful location, internal parking very convenient. Not cheap but in line with the average prices of Florence. The only lack is an internal elevator (the villa is on 3 floors), which, given the ancient structure of the villa, would not be installable. Sweet breakfast abundant and minimal but sufficient in the savory. Definitely recommendable.

The structure is beautiful with a large garden but too makeshift: the service should be reviewed a bit. We booked a triple room on the top floor where we suffered from the presence of mosquitoes. Given the beautiful garden, mosquito nets should be considered. In the bathroom, there were ants and a bit of mold on the ceiling. Only a small shower gel was provided along with the towels. In the booking from the website, breakfast was mentioned as included but it actually wasn't. At the reception, we were greeted by a person (I believe a cleaning staff) who struggled to be understood in Italian. Really a shame: it takes just a little to make the structure a bit more comfortable in the services while maintaining the originality of the Florentine villa.

This was such a lovely property, really felt like a Tuscan hideaway! The 3 flights of stairs were a little difficult with big suitcases and it's pretty removed from the city center, but we loved everything else about it.

Ideal to enjoy a stay in Florence out of the central noise. This is a countryside style villa located 15 minutes by bus or train from the center. The garden is very nice and extremely quiet, the staff are helpful and kind.

The structure is beautiful, in a quiet place surrounded by greenery. We chose Ape Rosa Relais because we needed a parking space for an event we attended at the Stibbert Museum. It takes about 50 minutes on foot to reach the city center, but it's doable. The girl at the reception was very kind to allow us to leave the car the next day as well. I rated the quality/price ratio with a 7 because I would have preferred to spend less than 98 euros + tourist tax; I hope that prices are lower in another period of the year to be able to come back, but staying longer.
