ANTICO BORGO IL CARDINO
The “borgo” stands up on a hill, in a beautiful landscape, smoothly coloured by the green of the vineyards and the olive trees where you will enjoy the view on the magnificent towers of San Gimignano. If you wish to spend a totally relaxed holiday, Antico Borgo Il Cardino is the ideal place, panoramical, central and only 10km far from San Gimignano.

The owners and their staff will host you with kindness and sympathy
BREAKFAST ROOM
The breakfast room on the ground floor offers every morning a rich buffet made with typical local cold cuts, fresh tuscan bread, fruit juice, milk, coffee, tea, fresh pastries etc..

Every morning a cake made by the owner will wake you up with a yaste of ther mold days.

OUTSIDE
In the part of the garden below the structure, you will find the swiming pool (16 meters x 8 meters), surrounded by the countryside and a charming view, where you will enjoy the tuscan sun in a perfect calm.

For the kids, an angle all fot themselves with a slide and a swing.

Our structure has taken all steps to guarantee you a safe stay. The configuration of our property allows you:
- direct and individual access to your room
- breakfast will be served every morning on the room terrace
- we collaborate with a restaurant at a walking distance
- at the reception you can buy a kit complete with mask and gel for 2 people

We wanted to come back to Tuscany and also return to Antico Borgo Il Cardino. If you like simplicity, authenticity (family management), the good mood of the staff from the morning (a big thank you to the team... Monica, Christina, Nicolo), with a view of San Gimignano, surrounded by vineyards, not far from Siena, from Volterra, a beautiful pool, room with terrace (possibility to have breakfast on your terrace... pure happiness), nice restaurants away from the crowds, Thomas to serve you among other things at the bar for the aperitif... and good advice on wine and olive oil... impeccable value for money... We love places like this... We love it and call it a successful vacation. The village restaurant "Tre Archi" and the vineyard "Azienda Agricola Il Palagione". See you soon.

There was a power outage the night we stayed, and the staff here took wonderful care of me and my husband. The breakfast was filling, the pool was a nice touch, and the views were immaculate. Thank you very much from Canada!

How do you explain such a beautiful place? You have to go there! Personally, I stayed only one night but, as I told the owner, I will keep it in mind and recommend it to friends. The staff is courteous, available for any problems, I had one for the shower that they solved in the blink of an eye. The breakfast is more than satisfying. Strategically located to reach charming places (Volterra above all) and immersed in a spectacular landscape, from the pool you can enjoy a suggestive sunset. But explaining it is harder, go there and you will see. Thank you again for everything and goodbye.

Lovely place in the middle of nature and a few kilometers from San Gimignano and Volterra, very kind staff and the managers are very welcoming people, it was a truly wonderful holiday, everything perfect and well taken care of in the details: breakfast, cleanliness, and well-furnished rooms with all comforts. We had a great time. It's nice to be able to rest by sleeping many hours in a row without any noise pollution. The pool is very beautiful and clean. The method of availability of umbrella and sunbed already assigned with the same number of the room I would use it even regardless of the covid moment. Breakfast is very good! Served, always to manage the safety of the guests, in the small private garden area, thus excluding the buffet service. Being a 'coffee lover' like me, I asked for two extra coffees paying for it every morning. The employees and owners are all very kind and helpful. The location of the structure is strategic. We easily visited Volterra, Certaldo, and San Gimignano. We relaxed a lot. I recommend the structure and hope to see you again soon.

Very quiet Bed & Breakfast surrounded by greenery and nature. Comfortable rooms with a patio. Swimming pool is very beautiful and clean. Strategic location between San Giminiano, Siena, Volterra.

Super nice, impeccable service, very kind staff. Matelas just horrible, hard as concrete with springs in the back. But I'm sure they will be changed very quickly.

Merci pour votre note et vos appréciations. Nous avons choisi des matelas "fermes" plus adaptés à un usage intensif. Trop souples, ils deviendraient très vite mous et inconfortables. Nous sommes désolés si ce type de literie n'est pas de votre gout, d'autres clients le préfère, il est difficile de satisfaire pleinement tout le monde.

Our stay at the B&B Antico Borgo Il Cardino was magnificent: we found attentive and very kind hosts. The B&B is in a quiet and reserved location, and there is a beautiful garden available for guests to relax in peace. Just a stone's throw from Todi. Perfect also for those who, like us, travel with a dog. Highly recommended.
