Description
Antico Borgo Casalappi is an ancient village located on the top of the hills that dominate the island of Elba, a few kilometers from the beach of San Vincenzo, Baratti, Follonica and the port of Piombino (where ferries leave for the island of 'Elba). The village is surrounded by wheat fields, with olive trees and sunflowers, but it is only two kilometers of the main services (supermarket, pharmacy...)
THE VILLAGE
Antico Borgo Casalappi is an authentic stone village of the '900 completely renovated with care to preserve its warmth and character. It consists of 42 apartments and covers eight hectares near the main house and the castle. The old buildings have been restored with different volumes, shapes and positions depending on the use respecting the original Tuscan tradition, maintaining the same charm of stone, brick and clay roof tiles.
Antico Borgo Casalappi is enriched with fine finishes and common areas made of alleys, illuminated squares finely decorated with elegant flower beds and benches, a semicircular swimming pool with sun terrace overlooking the entire valley, tennis court, barbecue area and a large park games for children.
It is located in an environment of great landscape and cultural and artistic itineraries: in front of a sea with beautiful beaches such as Torre Mozza, Carbonifero, Gulf of Baratti; near ancient cities like Volterra, San Gimignano, Massa Marittima, Campiglia Marittima and Suvereto; very close to the spas and wellness centers such as Calidario, the Etruscan necropolis of Baratti and the promontory.
Thanks to its central position, it allows you to reach the art cities such as Florence, Siena and Pisa.

Position in the countryside, near the hills. Renovated village, set in an intact environmental landscape. There is what it takes to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, a short distance from the sea.

La struttura (piccolo borgo) è nel complesso molto bella, ma ad esempio il bilo al primo piano dove eravamo noi, ha una scala molto ripida e condivisa con il bilo a fianco, a livello di privacy non era il massimo perché chi passava vedeva tutto dal bagno alla camera da letto.
Altre sistemazioni, con balcone e giardino sono sicuramente migliori. Secondo me, all'interno della struttura manca un punto "attivo" di riferimento, anche un piccolo bar avrebbe movimentato e creato un punto di ritrovo con gli altri ospiti. In piscina troppe regole restrittive, in pratica ti puoi solo bagnare.
La pulizia è impeccabile. Tutte le stoviglie perfettamente pulite ed anche il bagno.
