Description

The apartment is located in a villa with a large garden featuring hammocks and huge volcanic rocks. There is direct access to a forest with a pond and waterfalls, which is the starting point for various trekking paths leading to the natural hot springs of Bagni San Filippo and to the summit of Mount Amiata. Additionally, there is direct access to a forest of chestnut and beech trees where beautiful waterfalls, wooden tables, and barbecues can be found. Several paths start from the forest below the house and lead to the summit of Amiata. Guests can enjoy breakfast outdoors amongst large chestnut trees surrounded by nature.

Simply perfect accommodation, quiet location surrounded by greenery, rooms furnished with excellent taste and equipped with every comfort. Breakfast prepared by the host with natural and organic ingredients, with homemade bread and pastries. In short, a stay characterized by relaxation and good food. What more could you ask for. We spent a wonderful stay at B&B Al Sassone in Vivo d'Orcia. Luca is a really kind, helpful and welcoming host, always ready to share advice and make guests feel at home. Breakfast is one of the highlights: the bread and pastries made by him are simply delicious, prepared with care and with genuine ingredients. You can feel the love for authentic things and the deep respect for nature, which characterizes the whole experience at the B&B. If you are looking for a place immersed in greenery, peaceful, authentic and run with passion, Al Sassone is the perfect choice. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

We spent two fantastic days. The B&B is very clean, the location is excellent, and the breakfast is something exceptional, with cakes and jams made at home. Luca is a truly special host, a person attentive to the needs of guests. I am lactose intolerant and he made sure to provide products that I could eat. He is a very kind, friendly, and helpful person. I will soon return to this magnificent place.

The manager is really nice and kind and moreover efficient, already two days before we arrived he had sent me a message asking if we had any intolerances or allergies to something and also sending me a link on what to see in the area and what walks to take. Then he kept the ice lollies for me until the evening after dinner well beyond the appropriate time. Beautiful, clean, and equipped place. I will definitely come back.
