Description

The farmhouse has been renovated with the aim of preserving the simplicity of rural houses, and we have respected this choice even for the apartments. They are cozy, essential and comfortable spaces, perfect for reconnecting with the countryside.

The key feature of Agriturismo San Carlo is the large garden of approximately 8000 square meters with a swimming pool, which is ideal for families with children and for those who love authentic countryside. The apartments are furnished with original furniture from the early 1900s, antique trunks, handmade wardrobes and drawers, and manually decorated wrought iron beds.

Breakfast at the Agriturismo San Carlo is one of our guests' favorite moments..Breakfast is served on the large terrace of San Carlo with a magnificent view of the Cecina river valley, the Rocca Sillana and the Berignone Nature Reserve.

We cook cakes and brioches with our organic flour produced directly from the fields below, we prepare jams with our fruits and the honey served comes from our hives, the meat and cheese are produced a short distance from our farm!

Restaurant

We don't have a fixed menu because our menu is made up of fresh products that we collect daily from our organic garden, based on seasonality and the generosity of the land. However, we guarantee that every evening we exclusively create a menu for our guests that includes the following courses:
+ Appetizer with garden vegetables, organic artisanal salami and cheese from Val di Cecina, jams, and honey;
+ Our own handmade organic pasta with mixtures of ancient wheat seeds that we have reintroduced into our cultivation;
+ Game and local meats;
+ Home-made desserts with local eggs and flour from our production.

It was an amazing time spent at Agriturismo San Carlo. We are a family of four - our kids have a lot of space to have fun, the swimming pool was always clean and even in August there were no clouds. We can really test here. The area is quiet, green - you can be close to nature :) I recommend choosing the option with dinner - those sisters work magic in the kitchen ❤️ Thank you for this amazing holiday.

I consider it a very valid and well-organized structure. The managers are kind and helpful, the place where it is located is a bit isolated but the location is enchanting. The ideal solution for those who love relaxation.

We stayed for three nights in a three-room apartment at Agriturismo San Carlo. The apartment is very spacious, living room, kitchen, and bathroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The location of the property is excellent, you can enjoy a wonderful view and be immersed in the countryside, although the town center, where all services are available, is just a few minutes away. My kids enjoyed the beautiful pool with sun loungers and were able to play ping pong. Also, the veranda is nice, allowing for pleasant moments of relaxation in front of the apartment and outdoor dining on beautiful days. Recommended!
