Description
Located in Montemerano, 5 km from the Saturnia thermal centre, the B&B Poggio del Drago is set in a relaxing garden in the Tuscan hills. It offers traditionally furnished rooms with air conditioning and country views.

Rooms at the Poggio del Drago have natural wood furnishings and terracotta floors. Each comes with a TV, minibar and private bathroom.

A sweet breakfast buffet of home-made cakes, fresh ricotta cheese and fresh bread is provided daily. Savoury options are available on request.

After a day exploring the Maremma countryside, guests can relax in the property’s grounds. There is a bowling area and barbecue facilities are available.

Breakfast is the first meal of the day, some say it is the most important. Poggio del Drago offers a hearty breakfast every day.

The breakfast room has five tables and is finished down to the smallest detail.

We will set your table every morning and on your table you will find yoghurt, fruit juice, rusks, a basket with jams, honey and single-serving nuts and butter. To the
fresh ricotta cheese, slices of homemade cakes of different types, fresh bread, on request boiled eggs and/or ham and/or cheese and of course coffee are served,
cappuccino and more.

On request breakfast for vegans and celiacs.

The structure is very nice, new, surrounded by greenery and impeccably managed by Letizia. I appreciated the cleanliness and the delicious breakfasts with local products and homemade cakes. Letizia recommended some typical places for dinner and we also had a great time there. What can I say.. I can't wait to come back!

The facility is in an excellent position to visit Maremma by car. It is very close to Montemerano, a really lovely village, and not far from the Saturnia thermal baths. The facility is well managed by Mrs. Letizia, a kind and helpful person.

A beautiful place to see Maremma and go to the Saturnia thermal baths. The village of Montemerano is very beautiful, a peaceful place, clean room, good breakfast, and a nice and helpful lady. A nice holiday.

Congratulations to Letizia, the manager of the 'Agriturismo Poggio del Drago', for her simplicity, her courtesy, and availability, her very useful tourist tips. Strategic location to visit the surrounding medieval villages and just a stone's throw from the natural hot springs of Saturnia. We plan to come back in the spring.

A positive judgment. However, breakfast is focused on sweet, overlooking the fact that we, even as Italians, prefer like many foreigners a breakfast that includes the option to choose something savory. My age is a generic suggestion to improve the receptivity of the bed and breakfast. It did not refer to the treatment received, for which I still thank for the availability. Have a good day.
