It is a typical Tuscan farmhouse nestled in the Val di Sieve, land of Chianti Rufina, just 25 km from Florence.
At La Fontaccia, you will be welcomed in a familiar environment. During the winter months, you can relax in our common room in front of the wood-burning fireplace, reading the book you never had time to read or having fun with our collection of board games.
During the summer months, you can sunbathe between the restored old washhouse and our aromatic herb garden, or take a walk among the olive trees and beautiful woods surrounding the farmhouse, following the marked trails.
On our table, you will taste self-produced Tuscan food and products from the agricultural companies of the Val di Sieve, respecting local specialties and the short supply chain.

Our breakfast is a buffet and during the colder months or when it rains, it is served inside our common room, while in good weather you can eat in the courtyard, enjoying the view of the Val di Sieve.
In our breakfast, you will find fresh, non-packaged products, preferably sourced from local companies with a special focus on organic products. Coffee, tea, milk, juices or freshly squeezed fruit juices, homemade jams, local honey, cereals, butter, homemade cakes or cookies, local cured meats and cheeses, omelettes, homemade bread, fresh seasonal fruit.

We strongly believe in the importance of a short supply chain to have Good, Clean, and Fair food, which respects the seasons, as Slow Food's motto says, of which we are members. Samuele goes down to the village every morning to shop in local shops or farms, in order to always have fresh, seasonal products without waste. We are convinced that the quality of food also comes from human relationships.
Our menu is fixed and changes every day. We pay attention to all needs and also offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free alternatives if notified in advance.

What can I say, it was a magnificent stay. A magical place immersed in nature, where you will hear only the sound of tranquility. The hosts are wonderful, kind and accommodating. Samuele's passion for telling the story of that land and Elisabetta's superb culinary skills (I highly recommend trying the dinner at least once) make the perfect combination with a spectacular view. The hosts were incredible, warm, and welcoming. They checked in on us daily and helped to plan our daily itineraries in such a smooth way. The view was incredible and the daily breakfast spread was perfect. We highly recommend joining dinner one night. Such a lovely time. We will be back!

Exceptional location in the green and in total tranquility, the ideal place to relax and enjoy the pleasure of being surrounded by nature. The owners are a very young couple who deserve all our compliments. The property is new, very charming and very clean.
