Description

The estate is set in the hills near the ancient village of Pancole, 5 km from San Gimignano.

Created in 1955, it is today dedicated to organic farming, cultivating 42 hectares of land, of which 17 are vineyards and the rest olive groves, orchards, vegetables, woodlands and crops.

Guests are offered different-sized bedrooms and apartments.

The accommodation

The bedrooms are double or triple, all with en-suite bathroom; the apartments sleep 2 to 6 people and have a kitchen equipped for self catering. One apartment is accessible for the disabled.

In the garden is a 14x8 m swimming pool with sun terrace, surrounded by olive trees. There is a playground for children.

The wine cellars are equipped with modern equipment, a barriccaia for ageing in barrels and a room for drying grapes to produce Vinsanto. There is a special room for tasting Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti Colli Senesi, Rosato Doc, Vinsanto Occhio di Pernice and cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil.

Activities and surrounding

There are plenty of walking trails in the surrounding areas; guests can take part in farm work, including the grape harvest and olive picking, and are free to pick and eat fruit from the trees.

Riding stables, spas and shops can be found in the immediate vicinity.

San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florence, Pienza, Pisa and Lucca are all a short distance away.

The buffet breakfast, available upon request, costs €7.00 per person excluding children under the age of 3 who do not pay. It is served in the designated room or can be enjoyed outside in the large garden. In the morning, our guests will find a variety of hot beverages such as coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, milk, tea, Americano coffee, fruit juices, yogurt, homemade cakes, croissants and fresh pastries, muffins, jams, butter, various biscuits, Kellogg's cereal, cold cuts, cheeses, bread, sliced bread, and our own production of olive oil.

Located on a small hill, the property is very well maintained. The room is very spacious and clean, with a comfortable and spacious bathroom. It has a large outdoor space to relax equipped with tables, chairs, and some deck chairs. The very beautiful pool in a panoramic position enhances the value of the holiday. More Italian breakfast with really excellent homemade sweets and a savory part for more international guests. The owners are helpful and very kind. They produce excellent wine. The farmhouse offers a beautiful swimming pool where you can relax. I stayed in a triple room and cleanliness is not lacking. I would say that the Vagnoni family is a beautiful reality, made up of good people who work hard to ensure a quality product. I am satisfied and recommend this location to those who want to relax.

Just returned home, the Agriturismo Fratelli Vagnoni is fantastic, immersed in greenery and absolute tranquility, well connected to San Gimignano and surrounding areas, perfect staff, definitely worth a visit again.

Very helpful owners and attentive to the needs of their guests. A bottle of wine gift was appreciated. Excellent wine and oil produced by them. Suitable structure for families and couples looking to spend moments of tranquility. Definitely recommended.

Couple with dog, we had a great time, the location is wonderful in the middle of nature but with all the necessary comforts, rich and very good breakfast (especially the homemade cakes). We were welcomed by Lucia and Martina (the little daughter) and it was like being at home, available, always with a smile and with a special attention for our puppy.
