Description

The agriturismo Fontelisa was born from a long-standing desire to leave the big city and embrace life in the countryside, in one of the few remaining uncontaminated areas of our country. It is located in the heart of Tuscany's Maremma region, surrounded by nature and ancient olive trees.

Today our goal is to offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing stay in a peaceful natural setting that inspires serenity and relaxation, while fully respecting the environment.

In 2010 I made the change of life from a big city like Rome and I came here to Fontelisa in the middle of nature.

In this farm I follow all the activities: I welcome travelers, I take care of the crops, I raise animals.

We had such a great time here! Gennaro and his wife are excellent hosts. Upon arrival, we received an upgrade for our room and at our request, we were even able to extend our stay by one night. In addition to the Italian breakfast, Olga often offered us small breakfast treats that are typical for our homeland. Both were very helpful with our requests and had great tips for exploring and enjoying the beautiful Maremma. Not only were the hosts exceptionally great, we also liked the room with its generous storage space, a perfectly equipped kitchen, and the beautiful terrace. The pool and the surrounding facilities are also very good. The sun-protected parking space is also worth mentioning, as is the very good location. In addition to the trips to Siena, the Saturnia springs, Pitigliano, and Ortobello beach, we also took a nice evening walk in Talamone. If I could wish for something, it would be a little more water pressure in the shower and WiFi so that I could stay a little longer with the possibility of working remotely. But I would be happy to come back anytime and would recommend another stay without hesitation.

Excellent welcome, very familiar atmosphere, enchanting surrounding landscape, very spacious and clean room, as well as the exclusive outdoor space and the large swimming pool, where you can also take night baths under the starry sky of Maremma. Excellent and abundant breakfast with savory and homemade bread and pastries. Also very beautiful is the small village of Montiano and in a short time you can easily reach beautiful places like Alberese, Talamone, la Feniglia, l'Argentario, Orbetello, Capalbio, and Magliano. A little further away are Saturnia and Pitigliano. Highly recommended.

We stayed 3 nights and had a great time, we felt welcomed and treated like family. Olga and Gennaro are kind people who make every effort for the well-being of the guests. Highly recommended.
