Welcome to Agriturismo Fattoria Bigongiari, an oasis of rural tranquillity located just 7 km from Lucca, on the picturesque country road leading to the seaside resort of Viareggio (15 km). Immersed in the heart of Tuscany, our farm offers an authentic and fascinating experience, perfect for those who wish to live in contact with nature and animals.
Our farm is a true paradise for animal lovers. We raise about 100 cows and pigs and host a variety of other animals, including two donkeys, ducks, geese, chickens, pigeons, as well as dogs and cats. In addition, we have dedicated pens for peacocks and wild boars, offering a unique spectacle for young and old alike.
We have 7 flats completely renovated in authentic Tuscan style, located in two historic buildings directly on the farm. Originally part of a 17th century villa, our flats combine historical charm with modern comforts. Guests can also enjoy the villa's garden, ideal for relaxing outdoors.
Our flats are named after the labourers who once lived there: "Nello", "Guido", "Rosina", "Lina", "Leda", "Eugenio" and "Divo". 'Nellò, 'Guidò, 'Rosinà, 'Linà and 'Ledà have two bedrooms, while 'Eugeniò and 'Divò have one. All flats have a sofa bed in the living room, with 'Linà, 'Ledà, 'Rosinà and 'Guidò also offering a single bed.
Running the farm is a family affair: we, brothers Mario, Carlo and Annibale Bigongiari, inherited the passion for this land from our parents. Every day we get up early to take care of the cows and the many daily activities, while ensuring a peaceful environment for our guests. Our shop, run by Hannibal, offers delicious locally produced sausages and salami.

Hello, I am Annibale Bigongiari and, together with my brothers Mario and Carlo, I proudly run the Agriturismo Fattoria Bigongiari.

We stayed at Fattoria Bigongiari for New Year's Eve. We had a great time. The apartment was warm, comfortable, and clean, immersed in greenery and tranquility. It is an oasis of relaxation 5 km from Lucca. Annibale, Carlo, and Mario are exquisite, helpful, sweet, and sincere people. You do not find such people lately. There is a shop inside the farm with excellent products at zero kilometers. No less important is the quality-price ratio. We will definitely come back to visit you. Thank you for everything!

We (family with an almost three year old boy) had a fantastic stay. It was great to see the authentic life on a farm. The three brothers were always keen to show us something. Despite the language barrier (unfortunately we do not speak Italian), we were able to communicate. The specialities from Annibale's farm shop were very tasty.
