Located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma in the town of Orbetello, is the ideal place for those who want to relax and at the same time be a few kilometers from the sea.

The Farmhouse offers rooms and apartments completely renovated and equipped with all comforts.

You will find a brand new swimming pool, surrounded by a large garden overlooking the hills of Maremma.

Here you will find an authentic Tuscan farm with animal husbandry, a vineyard and olive trees.

Fabrizio and Massimiliano, manage the farm.

Fabrizio was born in 1961, he is a farmer of Tuscany, friendly and helpful, he will be happy to let you participate in the work activities of the farm (give the food to the cows, drive the tractors...).

Massimiliano was born in 1989, helps his father in farming but mainly deals with the management of the rooms. he travels a lot around the world and when it's possible he goes to surf. Hèll give you many useful tips to enjoy in the best way Tuscany.

The farmhouse is located in San Donato, in the Maremma countryside. It is centrally positioned in relation to Monte Argentario, the Maremma park, Talamone (a top location for kite-surfing), Magliano in Tuscany (top restaurants), Scansano, Capalbio (reachable in 10-20 minutes), and 45 minutes away from the Saturnia hot springs and Pitigliano. The nearest restaurant is within walking distance. The nearest beach (Osa) is 5 minutes away, and the affiliated establishment (Ai Delfini) is 10 minutes away. The nearest train station, bank, pharmacy, and supermarket are in Fonteblanda (5 minutes away). The area is rich in Etruscan findings, and the trace of Spanish domination from 1557-1796 is very evident in the fortifications of the coastal towns.

Very peaceful farmhouse immersed in greenery. The rooms were equipped with everything needed. It's a pity about the noisy neighbors who woke us at 6:30; perhaps guests should be reminded of the rules of civilized living. Otherwise I would come back, Massimiliano was very welcoming.

Massimiliano has been an excellent host, pampering us with his breakfasts left in the basket every morning on our outdoor table, pointing out and booking some truly worthy restaurants to be tried. Really relaxing place also very convenient for our four-legged friends. We will definitely come back.

Very nice well-kept structure. The pool is a plus. The garden is very nice and well-kept. The breeding of Chianine cows creates a nice environment. As mentioned to Massimiliano (the owner), I would carefully review the price positioning. For me, it needs to be revised downwards: slightly.

Immersed in the enchantment of Maremma, the property embodies the concept of relaxation and well-being perfectly. Very well-kept garden, spacious common areas where you can find hammocks, sun loungers, or little corners with wooden table and chairs to take a break with a book or simply let yourself be carried away by the sounds of nature. The Chianina cows play the starring role in the background of incomparable sunsets, a delightful little vegetable garden to pick some vegetables for the evening (delicious tomatoes and basil!), a pool surrounded by greenery that welcomes you back from excursions. Delicious breakfast served in a basket left on the outdoor table that allows you to enjoy it whenever you want and... even in your pajamas! A few minutes away is an enchanting sea, beautiful villages (Talamone, Pitigliano, Capalbio, Porto Santo Stefano, and Porto Ercole) and then the charming Giglio Island, Saturnia and its natural hot springs, the Tarot Garden... you would need to stay a month to be able to visit everything! Massimiliano is a delightful host, helpful, kind, and attentive to various requests. In German, there is a beautiful word “heimat”, which is more than homeland: it's where you feel at home. I felt that way. I will be back soon, thanks again for everything.

In the countryside, well maintained, very helpful and present manager, stunning panorama with marvelous sunsets, 5 minutes from the sea by car, 5 minutes from Fonteblanda, a village with everything you need (supermarket, bank, restaurants and pizzerias, etc.). Highly recommended, we stayed with two girls who had a lot of fun feeding the cows and taking long (very long) swims in the pool.

Good location, very quiet and peaceful, discreet facility. Breakfast with very little choice and at varying times (in our case between 7:45 and 8:45), they bring you a basket with croissant, fruit juice, and milk. Upon request, they add mini pizzas or other items. The air conditioning in our room was not working well (it was not very cool and difficult to adjust). In 10 days, no room cleaning and change of bathroom linen after 7 days upon our request.

The room, clean and welcoming, overlooks the large lawn towards the pool: all around is countryside, sunflower fields, and pastures. Simply stunning... Everything kept in an impeccable way, maximum availability of Massimiliano for every need. A dive into nature, close to the sea, to beautiful villages to visit and where to eat excellently. We will definitely come back, I recommend it for a weekend or more days to relax outside the metropolitan chaos.

I stayed only one evening and one night but I will definitely come back with my children. Massimiliano is very helpful, the room is very clean, the breakfast excellent, the location perfect for exploring the Argentario and relaxing. It's like being on vacation at home. The Agriturismo Al Girasole is located in the countryside. At night, the darkness was such that you could see the stars! The structure is very well-kept, with essential yet cozy rooms. A shared kitchen is available for preparing meals. It's a quiet area, perfect for a good night's sleep! The location is good for exploring the surrounding area. The season didn't allow us to enjoy the well-equipped and well-maintained garden! I recommend it to nature lovers, those who appreciate silence, and conviviality.

Beautiful location, in the Maremma countryside, with a large shared garden where you can relax, equipped with barbecue stations to cook outside, even in the company of other guests if you want. There is also a vegetable garden available, where you can pick seasonal vegetables and strawberries. The sea is not very close, you have to take the car, but bicycles are also available. The managers are very friendly and helpful, the room where we slept was clean and fresh.

The host - Massimiliano - was very nice and helpful. The room with the kitchen was nice and clean. The possibility to barbeque your own food was also good. Of course because of the location you need to drive when you want to go out for dinner, shopping or swimming. For us with our kids it was perfect, they liked picking strawberries and we were able to get fresh tomatoes etc. from the garden and liked to watch the horse in the neighborhood. If you have older children it might be a little boring for them. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was the breakfast, but I guess it is typical for the area. You have to prepare it by yourself, therefore you will find coffee, sugar, milk, jam, crackers etc. in the kitchen.

Manager Massimiliano was very kind and available, just like his father. The only thing that was just sufficient, as other users point out, was the breakfast, not very abundant and with all packaged products. We had a triple room with a kitchenette: convenient because it is independent from other guests, inconvenient because, as my husband says, you cook and eat in the bedroom.
