Description

In the Sant’Ambrogio neighborhood, just a 5-minute walk from the Duomo, the property offers four independent accommodations located within the same building, perfect for those looking to stay in the heart of the city with the convenience of walking to major attractions.

The lodgings are situated between the second and fourth floors and consist of various studios that cater to different needs: Casa Paola on the second floor, Casina BP and Loft BP on the third floor, and a small single-use studio with a terrace on the fourth floor. Each accommodation has its own unique features, which can be checked in detail in the section dedicated to the lodgings.

Please note that the building does not have an elevator, which is an important consideration for those traveling with heavy luggage or who have specific mobility requirements.

The apartments are operated as tourist rentals and have a few simple rules in place to ensure cleanliness, respect for shared spaces, and peace for all guests. Smoking is not allowed inside the accommodations, even with the windows open, and guests are asked to minimize noise during nighttime hours. Check-in after 9:30 PM is only possible with prior agreement with the host.

Area city center

Sant'Ambrogio area, that is part of the Santa Croce district, one of the 4 historic districts in which Florence is divided. The apartments are located 8 minutes walk from the Duomo and every touristic attraction can be reached on foot easily. The neighborhood, although it is in the heart of the old town, is quieter because outside of the crowd and confusion that may grim around the Duomo. Here you can find a more original and characteristic Florence: you could meet the locals who live in the center, and you will find all the amenities you may need (supermarkets, a fruit and vegetable market, bars, restaurants, taverns, pastry shops, cafes, paninoteca and all kinds of shops)

We had an amazing time at Pinti Apartments. Our unit was spotless and had absolutely everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including a washing machine, drying rack, iron, umbrella, shampoo and body wash, and even washing machine detergent. Irene, the manager, is amazing. Super helpful and responsive from my very first inquiry to check-out time. The building is a 5-6 minute walk to the Duomo. The location is spectacular. The building is secure. Highly recommend it for couples.

Great location in the very center, just a few steps from the Duomo. There are several buses that stop below the building, which go to S.M. Novella station, to Campo di Marte and to the trams. The host was very kind, super helpful and very responsive. The studio apartment was very nice and equipped with everything needed.

I thank Irène, who manages the property. She is very attentive to everything, very helpful, kind and courteous. The apartment is very pleasant. Only a little more light is missing in the bathroom. But everything is perfect for a pleasant stay.

Ideal for one person. Small but with everything necessary. The manager is very kind and has helped me a lot. The 4 flights of stairs are worth it to enjoy that balcony.

Excellent stay. The apartment is very central to all entertainment, sights and excellent restaurants. The hostess was very helpful and supplied extra bedding upon our request. Take the T2 tram from the airport to its end station and you will be three blocks from the apartment. It's cheap—just tap your card at the validator on the tram (don’t wait in line to buy a ticket). Quick and comfortable. No hassle.

There are quite a few steep steps to the apartment, some quite narrow, but that wasn't a problem. Also, Irene kindly helped me with that. It's a lovely apartment. I would rent it again.

I stayed in the 3rd floor loft studio and it was a great spot to base myself for a few days in Florence. The apartment was clean and the host was very accommodating of me arriving early and being able to drop off my bag, as well as being able to store my luggage at the property after checkout. The studio was small but perfect for me as a solo traveller and handy to have a small kitchen with basic supplies. If you're tall you might find the bathroom to be a bit of a squeeze but I am not so it was fine! There is air conditioning and a fan which is great for the heat. The location is good and not far from the main sights!

Best stay I've had so far! Irene was very friendly and prepares the place with care, making sure that nothing is missing for the guests (including suggestions on places of interest or restaurants). What can I say, I couldn't have made a better choice! First of all, the location is ideal: very close to the historic center, the train station, and a bunch of other places (to say, I walked from the apartment to Visarno in less than an hour). There is also a nearby bus stop, a garage, places to eat, have breakfast, even a store to buy water and emergency supplies late at night when everything is closed! The apartment is perfect, comfortable, cozy, very well maintained and has everything you need (fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, air conditioning, etc.). The organization, communication, and hospitality of Irene were remarkable. To conclude, my wife, my son (7 years old), and I had a great time, and if another opportunity arises to visit Florence, it will definitely be a pleasure to return to Borgo Pinti! Thank you!

Nice place to stay, very central to Florence for a really reasonable price. The flat was well equipped with a cooker and washing machine, although the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Irene was incredibly helpful and gave great recommendations for food in the area.

Everything is perfect. If I really have to find a flaw, I would suggest changing the two windows to achieve better sound insulation. Unfortunately, there are rude people who pass by at night shouting and it's really annoying. However, I reiterate that everything is great.

We were very satisfied with the studio on the 2nd floor. The location is perfect to visit Florence easily. The apartment is fully equipped, well maintained and clean. Irene is also very welcoming and she responds quickly. The only drawback of the room is that the bed is made of two small mattresses and not one double.

I stayed in the Loft studio and I had a great time. The apartment is as described, the ceiling with exposed beams is very nice, and the apartment is welcoming with a sleeping area on the mezzanine and also a sofa in the living area. There is a kitchenette fully equipped and the bathroom, although small (it is mentioned in the description anyway), was equally comfortable for me. The location is very convenient for visiting the historic center on foot. Thanks to the host Irene who welcomed us and provided all the information we needed.

The apartment, located on the third floor (no elevator), is small and comfortable, equipped with everything necessary for a stay of several days (oven, microwave, iron, washing machine, etc.), very clean and tidy. Irene is an excellent host: communications have always been punctual and precise, and there is the possibility to leave luggage in storage after check-out. The area, despite being close to the center (about 10 minutes from the Duomo, 15 minutes from Palazzo Vecchio), is very quiet; in the immediate vicinity there are numerous dining options. Absolutely recommended!

In addition to the excellent location, 10 minutes from the Duomo, 5 minutes from a Conad store, and several other small grocery stores 2, 3 minutes away, at the end of the street, not even 200 meters away, you can take the bus from Colonna Liceo Castelnouova which takes you to the train station, to Piata della Stazione. The apartment is well equipped, suitable for longer periods, having a hair dryer, mosquito repellent, even a clothes iron. The owner, Irene, is a warm person, responsive to our needs, she changed the towels when we requested, she let us stay longer at the location, a few hours after the check-in-out time expired, she responded very promptly to messages.

Irene's apartment was easy to locate and had self check-in. Irene had placed a guest info pack with local places and also had some good coffee and chocolate left out for us which was a real treat. The description is accurate. The bathroom is too small and a bit tricky to take a shower, but overall room satisfied my needs. It has WiFi, A/C, kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, table with two chairs, and outside terrace. I would suggest having a rod somewhere (maybe at the back of the bed) so that you can use clothes hangers. Perfect if you are on a budget. Very nice owner and ready to accommodate you.

I was very happy to find a small and affordable room just 4 minutes from where I needed to be. Irene was very friendly and helpful, and the room had everything I needed. The terrace has a beautiful view of the dome, and the temperature is conveniently adjustable with the AC. Comfortable bed. Very good service, I would come again :).

We arrived late at night, but Irene provided all the instructions for a self check-in, gifting us with a bottle of wine and a generous welcome letter. The apartment is impeccably well-maintained, clean, structured, decorated, and located. It has all the necessary household utensils and appliances for a pleasant stay in the heart of Florence, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and a relaxing bed. Salve Michael, grazie per la precisazione sul palazzo, poichè mi dai la possibilità di descrivere la situazione. Purtroppo stiamo affrontando da 2-3 mesi un problema di infiltrazione di acqua nell'ingresso del palazzo, e nonostante tutte le indagini, il problema rimane ancora irrisolto, purtroppo per me e per tutti i condomini e gli ospiti dei miei appartamenti, l'ingresso del palazzo si presenta stonacato e il muro aperto, dunque esteticamente non piacevole da vedere.... mi dispiace davvero tanto di questo perchè ci tengo molto all'estetica e alla cura degli alloggi. Speriamo di risolvere quanto prima poichè nei palazzi ultracentenari del centro storico diventa molto complesso gestire le questioni strutturali. Ringrazia molto i tuoi genitori per la loro gentilezza e spero di potervi ospitare di nuovo in futuro, sperando questa volta con l'ingresso delle scale rinnovato :) Un caro saluto!! IRENE

The place was perfect because it is in a very strategic location. Irene proved to be very helpful, reliable, and friendly. The studio on the third floor is very cozy. Perhaps the only flaw is the stairs to get there. The structure is not brand new, therefore there is no elevator and carrying luggage up the narrow stairs is a bit complex. Other than that, everything is very nice and welcoming. The kitchen is well-stocked, including coffee and tea for any eventuality.

Very nice stay in Florence. The apartment has everything you could need, full kitchen, shower, etc. Really good communication, they answered every question I had. Great recommendations on where to eat or have a coffee. Will return if we are back to Florence. The only negative is it can be noisy from the stairs, it's an old building so understandable.

I stayed in the studio with terrace from 6 to 11 October 2022. The studio is small but comfortable, fully equipped and provided with detergents and bath soaps. Nothing is missing. The central location is very convenient. The added value is the terrace on the rooftops with a view of the Brunelleschi dome. I didn't meet Irene but her directions were very precise. We stayed in the studio on the second floor. The apartment matches the photos, is in an ideal location to visit Florence, is very clean and very quiet (overlooking the interior). I stayed at 'Pinti Apartments' and I had a good experience in this strategically located property in the city center, from where you can easily reach the Duomo Square, Signoria Square, Ponte Vecchio, and Santa Maria Novella train station in a few minutes. The structure is very well taken care of, you can see that it is cared for in every detail. Having few reviews, I didn't know what to expect but it was definitely better than I could imagine, I felt at home. I went with some friends last weekend and the lady literally took care of us, upon arrival we found everything we needed, very comfortable beds and the kitchen almost looks new, but the highlight is definitely the peninsula that overlooks the window, and having dinner watching the sun set from that window overlooking a wonderful internal garden in the center of Florence is priceless. As for the location, the house is very well connected, about a 3-minute walk you can find bus stops and in 10 minutes you can easily reach the cathedral. I can definitely say that both my friends and I spent a splendid weekend in this apartment and if we were to return to Florence we would not hesitate to contact for the same accommodation.

I am a young Roman ballerina and I had the opportunity to stay alone in the beautiful little house of Pinti Apartments for a few days. The cleanliness is impeccable, I had everything I needed without having to worry about basic goods (toilet paper, coffee, various soaps including those for washing machine and dishes) given the little time I had to organize myself during the day. The area is quiet and the location is excellent. Irene is a splendid host, kind, welcoming, and always available. Excellent value for money.
