Welcome to our delightful Sunnhofer Guesthouse, run by our family, which offers 11 rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and a large garden, where you can relax and enjoy your stay.

Located in the midst of nature in a strategic position between the two most charming cities in South Tyrol, Merano and Bolzano, the Sunnhofer Guesthouse is perfect for an unforgettable stay.

The Sunnhofer Guesthouse, with its welcoming and family atmosphere, is highly appreciated by our guests from all over Europe. The 11 rooms, a breakfast room, the pool surrounded by a large garden and orchards, make the Sunnhofer Guesthouse a charming place to spend a pleasant stay in South Tyrol. Moreover, the guesthouse is particularly suitable for families and you will feel at home.

The Sunnhofer Guesthouse has 11 rooms, including 9 doubles, 1 single and 1 double with a bunk bed. The rooms are cozy and equipped with shower and facilities, balcony/terrace, LCD TV (SAT), safe and Wi-Fi connection in each room and in the garden. In addition, for our valued guests, there is a private fenced parking, a garage for bicycles, free bicycle rental and many ideas for leisure, free time and relaxation!
Hiking enthusiasts will find a wide choice of mountain trails in the surroundings to immerse themselves in the wonderful surrounding nature. In just 5 minutes you can reach the convenient cable car that connects Vilpiano to Meltina.

For all cycling enthusiasts, there is the beautiful "apple cycle path" along the Adige River, just 200 m from the Sunnhofer Guesthouse. In addition, we offer free bicycle rental to all our guests.

The Sunnhofer Guesthouse is open from Easter until the first week of November. Come and visit us and enjoy an unforgettable stay!

Beautiful guesthouse in Vilpiano, surrounded by apple orchards and with a swimming pool, halfway between Merano and Bolzano. The shower in our bathroom was a bit small and not very convenient, considering that there is no bidet. It was lacking shower gel, shampoo, and a shower cap. Please note that they do not accept debit cards and credit cards. Only cash. I had to settle the bill with a bank transfer because I did not notice. Perhaps it was written, but I did not read.

Excellent guesthouse. I would recommend it to anyone. I stayed for only one night but I would have liked to stay longer. Super convenient, very close to Bolzano and Merano; in fact, you take a bus and you are already at your destination. Extremely clean rooms with a TV and balcony with mountain view. The lady was very kind, she even gave me a Winepass and when my phone broke, she was so helpful to lend me hers to make a call. I will definitely come back.

Unfortunately we stayed for only one night, and I say unfortunately because as soon as we arrived we found courtesy and a homely atmosphere. The extremely kind owner, always with a smile, welcomed us warmly. The structure is well-kept in every detail. The room is really spacious and new, with a beautiful veranda and impeccable cleanliness. Great breakfast! Very quiet location to rest and strategic to visit both the markets of Merano and Bolzano. Definitely a place to come back to soon!

Lovely guesthouse with a room significantly larger than average, excellent cleanliness and impeccable bathroom! Independent entrance and gate always open to come and go comfortably without time restrictions. Highly recommended, if it hadn't been full, we would have stayed an extra night.
